How to Install:
Best for start YOU NEED TO HAVE AN UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER
1. Download a compatible kernel ( Recommend Jason Steins Blend Kernel)
2. Place the ROM and addons on the SD card of your phone
3. Use fasboot to flash the kernel. Type in fastboot flash boot boot.img
4. Boot into CWM recovery then:
Wipe data/factory reset and confirm
Wipe cache and confirm
Go into advanced and wipe dalvik cache and confirm
Flash the ROM and addons by installing zip from SD Card
5. Reboot the phone into MIUI

Added Support for Multi-language:
1. Firstly, Download the MIUI Multi-Language pack for DiMIUI 2.2.24
2.Then flash it via CWM recovery:
Boot into CWM recovery then:
Wipe cache and confirm
Go into advanced and wipe dalvik cache and confirm
Flash the pack by installing zip from SD Card
Then Reboot Now
3. Then, Find the language pack for the language you need by finding it from the desired MIUI language website:[/SIZE]

Hello,
I am just sharing some of these mods for the MIUI users on my, and others MIUI roms. All credit goes to the makers:

The first, and most popular mod is the Extended Settings Mod by Andy Thomson. It gives you the:
]Option to Hide/Unhide Status Bar Clock
Option to Hide/Unhide Alarm Icon
Option to select a custom colour for the clock
Option to Hide/Unhide Battery Icon
Option to select a custom colour for the top-bar battery
Option to select a custom colour for the carrier
Option to Hide/Unhide Carrier
Option to specify your own custom carrier text
Option to replace carrier text with a logo.
Option to specify pull-down date/time format. (see below for examples)
Option to specify lockscreen date/time format. (see below for examples)
Option to change Overscrolling.
Option to Enable/Disable an App Drawer.
Option to choose a solid wallpaper in the colour of your choice.
Option to choose a colour and adjust the transparency of the statusbar
As well as the above. If you go to Launcher Settings you will have the following options..
Option to enable/disable Wallpaper scrolling
Option to enable/disable Auto close folders.
Option to show/hide icon labels.
There are the reboot mods by roenano which allow you to reboot:
1. Normally
2. Hot Reboot (Restarts the OS)
3. Reboot directly to the bootloader (Fastboot)
4. Reboot directly to recovery
The third mod allows you to skip tracks via the volume buttons and is also by Andy Thomas:
While the phone's screen is off and Music is playing, long pressing the Volume Buttons will skip tracks either forward or backwards. While the phone's screen is off and No Music is playing. Short presses will adjust the Volume.
When the screen is on (even if the phone is locked) the volume buttons control the volume as normal.
How to Install:
1. Reboot into recovery.
2. Go to mounts and storage and mount /system
3. choose "install zip from sdcard"
4. choose "choose zip from sdcard"
5. locate your file
6. confirm "YES - install "
7. wait for script to finish
8. reboot phone

Yep Everything works except the default FM radio and wifi hotspots

Seems like this is the closest to perfect custom ROM. Only video is left for HDMI and that's why I stick to stock-based ROMs for now (I watch movies on the TV quite often).

Were you able to go to the radio and hdmi???

Aye, Zdhizu did also link a HDMI enabler with Video but is buggy as he said. Hope we can get this fixed soon for CM and MIUI roms.
And the landscape problem isn't there as far as I can tell. I am using swiftkey x as a keyboard and usually type in potrait anyway but Ill report back with stock keyboard
Will release multi-language packs asap, just ported this rom early today so sorry, but will do it asap

What about battery?

Battery life is pretty good, with Jason Steins battery efficient kernel I get the same battery life as DoomKernel v18. Lasts me a whole day without having to worry about battery dieing.

Open zip with winrar/7zip...navigate metainf - updatescript-open with notepad++ and delete two first line. Save , close and install.

It does the job yes, Camera isn't as good as stock but Its not terrible either. It does fine for me

I have the normal Galaxy Y (GT-S5360) but Chobits Digitalis is a great ROM. It's great to see HCFroyd247 is spreading the goodness to you Duos users. When this ROM is fully functional [out of beta], you're in a brilliant ROM!

well downloaded and flashed the rom as instructed
backup of stock rom stock using cwm
erased/wiped cache/formatted data
installed rom
installed sucessfully
**** on booting - chobits v2 boot logo PIC WITH GT-S5360
kindly change that to GT-S6102
**** boot loop along with background msgs which are un-readable due to boot loop---- phone - bricked
Trying to update the file samsungani --- wish me luck

deleted cahe... wip data...etc

Determined the bootloop error, it is the Bravia and Beats Port, will make a new build without those mods, I will try to determine whats making them halt the system boot process.

- Go in ricovery mode;

I like cm7..because our hardware is to low and old..however this AOSP of sir Paul L. is nears at daily use

Just tested the rom and everything seems to be just fine except usb storage it does not work it says that my SD card is damaged & i should format it before i use it and i don't want to format my sd card cos the file manager & Apollo are reading the contents of the card...

The rom of your link..for have a lot of personalization such as native statusbar, performance etc control..is compiled from source

For best use of this rom..you must have a ext partition:
- Go in ricovery mode;
- Select "wipe data/factory reset" and "wipe cache partition";
- Select "advanced" and "wipe dalvik cache";
- Now Select "advanced" and after "Partition SD Card"
- Choose ext4 format label..assign 512 mb at partition and 0 (zero) at swap
- Go back and make all wipe ("wipe data/factory reset", "wipe cache partition" e wipe dalvik cache")
Flashing ROM

- Go in recovery mode;

Known Issues

- Some statusbar tweaks ( example.. stock icon battery) not apply immediatly, you must restart statusbar from shortcut in Clock, battery or signal tweaks;
- If you use Stock Samsung lockscreen when you play your favourite songs..you can not unlock your phone that will hot reboot;
- Custom wallpaper work only if you use cm7 lockscreens..not work with all other lock such as epic, fascinate etc.

i think that contacts from whatsapp has nothing to do with baseband...there was a problem with some rom (smthng like this one) also fc on contacts that are present in whatsapp also...i try reflash, its same...

For alarm app just extract DeskClock.apk from cm11 and copy it to system/app with proper permissions

prerequisites?
I tried to install del.mount. with different CWM but it fails with error 7 and couldnt mount sys in CWM anymore, only after Odin and stock again.
Which CWM must I use?
Running now CD-Future 8.1 with 8.1.1-patch and it works so far. For better performance, SD-Booster or performance-scripts are better?
As it´s based on CM11 I read somewhere SD must be formatted to ext4.
But link2sd (or better suggestion to move max to SD?) couldn´t mount the second partition with CD-Future 8.x. With ext3 everything fine.

I can enter Airplane mode and after reboot I have lockscreen.

Without any mobile it´s unusable.
I have read about patching the s5830i with another modem firmware but I´m not sure.

Im gonna do this on my Ace thats lying around in the house. For now its pure stock unrooted. Anything I should care for?
