Thanks

Raj

downloading it as we speak.... would report back mate...

Sony devices, like older Samsungs, have a unified recovery/kernel in a single image. We haven't yet merged support for building TWRP on userdebug builds (although it's mostly complete with some small kinks to work out), so recovery fails on any userdebug build for devices with unified kernel/recovery.

Seriously ?
You think if recovery is broken, it will broke your device ??
I am developing ROM from almost 1 and half year through different device and I know what user gets through my build and what thing can break device...
For your information even if recovery is broken, that wouldn't break your device, remember this.
And stop misleading people, I already stated that this build is unofficial, so I am not stopping you from releasing the build you have made either official or semi-official.
This thread is for the ROM development, not for advertisement of any other build, So, stop posting something that you don't know about or not related to this build.
Peace,
Raj

Is this really Official?
I found that I can't set the language to be 中文(繁體) cause it keeps showing "system IU is stopping" but English is ok.
Also, I don't know whether it is my personal problem. My ob is very hot when plugging usb.
Btw, it is a great rom. You did a great job.
this rom is great, the customization is richful and superb, thanks Zaclimon. The only problem for me, I think it's my personal issue is the GPS doesn't work in all rom versions.
OMG PAC 4.3 iam very excited
i cant wait to try it out

I think he means that what i said was refering to Stock Roms when so only asked whether it was a true Official PACman.
So good for first release but it's so laggy!
Thanks and hope for next ver!
Yeah so to answer your question
1. Yeah its the official pac rom from the pac team (no stock or cm so no fm radio... )
2. Yeah I excepted to be a bit buggy. The sources are based from dhiru but I've talked with evisceration and I could include his kernel if you want.
3. Thanks for the initial impressions , it's my first time in the P970 and I'll continue to bring improvements so it can be good to use. (maybe some linaro love of possible)
Also I'll try to see regarding Chinese, I've seen many problems related to it.

Hmm the only plausible reason as of why it's not working is because that maybe that device users a module. Then this module version doesn't fit with the kernel's. (3.0.96 vs 3.0.8 I believe) The best for the moment would be to get back to stock kernel or use evisceration's rom

Modules are part of the kernel, you can't use boot.img alone. Copy the following from the kernel/rom you want to use:
System/libs/modules/wireless.ko
System/libs/modules/scsi_wait_scan.ko
That should work.

I agree with that, it's laggy and I have observed some non-working touch when I press the apps drawer button or the notification slider upward, maybe this is because of the pie. Good work, I'll keep an eye on this one once it works perfectly.

It's the same, but apparently this guy here made a thread with the wrong name...it should be MoKee OpenSource, not Mokee OS ...no wonder I can't find it...I check for existing ones before posting...well this thread will be the official one then...he didn't create/involve in it so can't post in original development...but I can......you know why...

Very nice ROM!
Have one problem though...
I checked for OTA Update now. It found something, 2014251033-201401261006-nightly. It downloaded it, and when i clicked to install my phone said it would reboot and do the update. If not I would have to manually do it. Ok, said and done - rebooted tried to update but an error came up. Same thing happens if i manually install the update.
Kernel:3.0.64 mokee g5d4643c mokee @buildbot #1 Sat jan 25
Rom: yesterday's version
recovery: cwm based recovery v 6 .0 47
Error: /system/priv-app/calendarprovider.apk has unexpected contents
E:Error in /storage/sdcard0/mkupdater/ota-mk44.2 - n7000 ....... nightly.zip
(status 7)
installation aborted
Can you tell me what the problem is?
What if I say no? Lol, just kidding...
It could be caused by two reasons:
a) Gapps (/system/app/Provision.apk, /system/app/CalendarProvider.apk etc has unexpected contents.)
b) system files are modified (this includes flashing a custom kernel which replaces system files)
To solve:
1. Format /system (or else old gapps will be restored)
2. Flash full ROM
3. Flash OTA
4. Flash gapps from MoKee Centre
Future updates will be working...unless you are still using a custom kernel, where you must flash back the full ROM or restore the specific files if you know how...

Yes we have made a test build with camera and it works but not fully and will
Not released in near future we revert the test build commits and now its complete without cam and we will bring it back only if its fully working
No but we are working on community drivers based on aosp but i will not relase any build with camera now
Edit: it seems that David viteri has fixed audio for Z3 and maybe his commits fix audio on z2
Audio and Video playing is fixed in the next build but the colours on Video are totaly wrong like on Android l aosp
Next build will be avabile tomorow and now i will use it as my daily driver
Wow this thread just made my day! Been dreaming about working aosp build for z2 for so long! Do you accept donations for your awesome work?

Smoothness of Stock ROM with greatness of OMS Themes!
What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publishes without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway, to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I also added Non-AOSP features for a better user experience ("Clear All" button in Recents) and I'm NOT going to add something other.
What is OMS?
OMS stands for Overlay Manager Service and was developed by Sony, just like RRO - so overlays could be downloaded and managed through a client.

something's wrong with recovery or maybe just my device, I can't access microSD, heck I can't even access sdcard (internal storage) so I can't install GApps
I had to install another recovery via adb and it's a pain to do so lol
So far the the 6.0.1 Rome is the is the least hot and works most stable. No Fcs. Everything goes as it should.

Calling doesn't work for both sides, neither mic nor speaker work. But Whatsapp calling works.
But i tried AOKP rom and on both roms i cant hear in call
I am a massive fan of what slimROM has done for my past phones and I think this is the closest I will get to a slimMarshmallow rom right now.
Thank you, thank you so much! Can't wait to try this out

I am a massive fan of what slimROM has done for my past phones and I think this is the closest I will get to a slimMarshmallow rom right now.
Thank you, thank you so much! Can't wait to try this out

You're welcome! Enjoy! I'm also bringing my StryFlex ROM to XZ as soon as AOSP is fixed and usable as daily driver..
awsome to see you here from xperia sp to xperia z verry nice going to check this for now
Thank you for the great rom. We can put up if camera would not work, but the ability to make calls is the important function of the rom This rom is very nice, so we will use only sms for a little time and wait the update
