[Q] Quality picture (wallpaper) on Launcher Pro+ and MIUI launcher default ?

hi all XDA members
Im using Incredible 2 ( MIUI 1.8.19 )
I just trying change wallpaper on MIUI and LP. and I see that it's seem they have a little different?
The quality picture on MIUI is better than Launcher Pro+ ?

It seems to depend on what you use to set the wallpaper. Default Gallery does a terrible job, where using QuikPic the outcome is much better.
Wallpaper Set & Save is the best bet. I have no idea why the disparity between apps though.

What is the resolution for the wallpaper on the Z ?
I am sick of putting wallpaper on having to crop it all the time.
What is the easiest/best way to get wallpaper chosen without having to crop it?

The res is 2160x1920. There you have some: [Wallpapers] Full HD Collection! 2160x1920! High Quality Wallpapers!

No, it's 2160x1920, not the original full HD resolution.
The wallpapers on my thread was disabled due to "thread stealing" by another forum...sadly...but you can search on Google that resolution, or trying to resize an high resolution image to 2160x1920...

Just times the width (1080) by two = 2160 for a perfectly fitted scrolling wallpaper.

Thanks I'll give it a go. I really just want to have 1080 wide images and set them non scrolling on the screen, full width. The stock wallpaper selection drives me mad. It opens Album and I can't seem to even control which photos to use (eg, I have an Xperia Wallpapers folder I made). and then if you select a photo, it gives you a cross shaped cropper for scrolling wps. I just want a picture on my desktop...
I tried some of the wallpaper slideshow apps, but I'm having such bad trouble with choppy playback of music I uninstalled them. I may go back.

Okay, how do I do this? There are so many options and i have white bands at top and bottom.

The deleted link was mine...that was my thread...that was stolen and posted into another forum...so I've shutted it down...
The PERFECT resolution (for a better scrolling) is 2160x1920.

You mean resize wallpapers? There's an app for that. Or at least there should be

High Definition Live Wallpapers

Our device has got one of the highest pixel densities out there with a large screen to boot, meaning most things look like garbage on it.
If you find any higher-res live wallpapers out there on the market, post links to them here and I'll keep the OP updated.

Hmm... BTW, the wallpapers that I post here are unique and are either snapped or created by me using photo editors in android
They look more beautiful when applied as wallpaper , than just viewing them on this web page.

Well if you long click on the image and open it in another window it does display its full resolution. Wasn't trying to step on anybodies toes.

You're right. But I just meant the situations of using a browser like operamini (mobile) or using a few inches screen.... images won't be displayed as you said l.

Hello, ladies, gentlemen, and aliens.
I made this thread with wallpapers that i create and i will update it from time to time.
I do some graphic design, but not at a big level, however i also like photography and "game photography" (I spent hours and hours trying to mod games to be able to take great pictures in them).
Pack 1 - These wallpapers are all screenshots i've taken in the game, and i hope you give them a try as they are not even related to the games, but to their artistic side.
I worked quite some time on them, and to make them as screenshots took a while aswell, as i had to edit them manually and make them fit a 9:16 aspect ratio.
They are also resized from crazy crazy resolutions like 11520x6480, so, expect them to be of high quality.
Genres: Surreal, Abstract, Nature, and basically everything. This first pack, i wanted to make for everyone to be able to enjoy.

I make these wallpapers because i like helping people (Literally, my top priority in life ) and making content for everything, i made them so people can enjoy them, please, don't re-upload them elsewhere, and don't claim them as you're own.

As a side note, please, forgive my way of talking, i don't really know how to explain things properly, and i don't know how to talk to people.
