I agree it could actually be announced tomorrow, since if it's going to be available on Oct 31st/Nov. 1st, they have to announce it earlier, and press invites have to go out. Well it's too late for regular press invites for people to fly & attend in person, so Google may just do it online. But what is your source for "knowing this as a fact"?

this has absolutely no uniqueness to Raver at all but one thing I would say is that there has never been a bounty thread which just told it like it is and said "I will make a modded stock rom of gb and do the same when stock ICS is out".
Most bounties are about winking at suggestions of making ICS builds or this or that pie in the sky rom. I know there is supposed to be salesmanship in those threads but it would be refreshing to just have it be straightforward on the other hand I doubt such a thread would be a successful bounty

If you read his posts, he said that he's working out the bugs on the installer and ROM. If you think he's too slow, offload some work from him. Maybe go over and give him meals, clean for him, do his other ***** work and then he will have more time for you.

This is definitely true. Raver always delivers what he promises. I've used most of his Roms on the SGS4G and they were all incredible. I just got my SGSII last Friday and I can't wait to try Black Edition when its complete. Raver I'm really glad to see you on this phone also. You'll definitely be getting more donations from me.

If you have received your HTC One, please comment also on which country you are in and what kind of seller(retailer/provider) did you use.

Thank you for sharing this information. Honestly we do care and are very greatful for it, its just we needed that little bit more info on the source, as you may have seen its very easy for people to just claim they know things and post them publically and with tensions running so high as we are very happy about the device I feel many of us jumped to conclusions.

I work for a big media company which has got more than 15 apps in Play Store. Most of the apps are in Top recommendations from Play Store.
Our business works closely with Google and we had issues when 4.3 was released. So Google gave us a heads up. Some people from our office are going to Google as well for testing on new device and Android OS.
I cant go into names.

Aside from the date of the post making the truth obvious, the other dead giveaway is that xda just isn't meaningful enough for google to give a damn about it. Everybody who is here and has any meaningful contributions for Android, knows all about the Google gerrit server and how to submit patches to AOSP already. There is literally NOTHING to gain by google acquiring xda.
