You need to install it on your phone and gear and you can do it... I have tried it. Transfered few .apk files its slow but works.

Install what on the phone? And is the only way to install by connecting with wire? I lost my cradle, so that is my issue.

Which Bluetooth File Transfer?
There are multiple BT File Transfer apps on the play store, which one is the right one?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=it.medieval.blueftp
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.Bluetooth_File_Transfer_2
And this one which I doubt is correct since it was last updated 2+ years ago:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tiersis.BluetoothFileTransfer

Sonar has actually been greatly improved to detect malicious behavior. Not that i use Norton, but its definitely worlds better than it used to be and far far from the worst

It's because 4 shared is not a trusted program. But there is nothing wrong with it.

I haven't noticed any changes. Upgrading didn't involve any drama for the first time though. Also, MarketWatch was added to the "apps" section. Interestingly, MarketWatch is the first app I've seen that doesn't require a companion app on the host device to work.
Looks like they just added a new clock image and finance app

What clock image?
I got MoWeather app in Utilities, Marketwatch in finance. Did you notice they have opened up pretty much all categories in samsung apps, though only a few do have apps now. Keeping my fingers crossed for a BIG update sometime soon with all the promised apps
I dont see any added clock image. Its still the same as the first gear manager release.

I hit restore and I didnt lose any apps.
This update still didn't fix the Feedly removal .
I lost all side loaded apks with the update
It also modified the filesystem, deleted any folders that weren't there to begin with, so any apks that I had on the phone in any additional folders got deleted

You might need to "restart" the phone/gear or both at times after an update.
reboot has the same issue. if does not work connect manually and do restore when prompted

Updated with no issues.
Nothing there valuable.

lucky I had a nandroid, on null_15 the update wiped my data then connected fine... just restored data and I'm back in the game

Last update someone said if you're running null ROM to judge do a Nandroid before updating, then restore /data only after the upgrade and it chugs along fine.

No skip Pandora for 4.3?

It seems the apk's I have all give me "Unfortunately, Bluetooth share has stopped". I have multiple versions and files of Pandora including Pandora one. They all seem to give this error. The install from the play store does not cause this. Anyone run into this?

How to connect without nfc

Hi guys im running null on my gear and I've just flashed a custom rom on my note 3. Which for some reason has disabled my nfc.
As such I'm unable to connect my gear to my phone. Is there another way to do it? I've tried to connect manually but it doesn't show contacts or notifications etc it only allows me to use it as a bluetooth hands free kit.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. That was the second thing I tried and I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong.
The watch does connect to the phone audio. But when I try to connect manually the watch does not show on the phone so I can't get notifications, use the media player etc.

[Q] those that came from a note 3

I used kies to backup my stuff from from my note 3 then in restored it to my note 4. All went well really except for the fact that all my pictures in gallery are no longer in any order. In fact I'm not sure what order they are in now. There are all over the place.
Anyone else have this problem ?
Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
If you view the files in windows explorer, that should be the same order they appear in your gallery. That's what happened with mine when I used Kies to restore from my s3 to my note 4.

If you auto back up your pictures to google it will stay in order when moving from device to device. It's sorted by date, that's what helped me in the move.
