I have simply ordered it via http://getpebble.com in the USA and they ship from Singeapore
After 2 weeks i got a message that it was delivered in the Netherlands. Now i'm waiting for the Customs and delivery.
So this should work for you too.

If there was an European selling point, it would charge you the VAT anyway. So just order on getpebble.com and pay 150 dollars and your VAT and handling fee, or don't order a Pebble if you feel those taxes and fees are too much.
Verstuurd vanaf mijn Xperia Z

I live in Slovakia. Ordered from getpebble.com. It costed exactly 109 EUR (150 USD) including shipping. Watch arrived from Singapore in 5 days.
Package was not intercepted by customs office.
The official site won't overcharge you. Only thing you will be missing is the standard EU warranty.

You have to pay VAT in Romania. Might be different in every country.

You have to pay customs in the UK too, but somehkw I received it yesterday without the added custom charges.
So it only cost like 90 quid. I consider myself very lucky.

I got two of them for $150. They replaced first one because of screen glitches and didn't ask to send broken one back.

I paid £93 for mine. It came from Singapore.

Mine came to £95
To be honest it is better than I expected, and was easier to setup the way I want than I thought.
Go for it

Anyone from Poland got it from getpebble.com? What range of VAT/customs can I expect? I've seen some very inconsistent comments on some polish forums. Some paid none (not even VAT!), some paid VAT and customs.
Also - how it looks like when it gets broken? Do i need to send it back at my own expense? I admit this is what is holding me right now for buying Pebble, and i strongly consider Sony SW2 instead (as i have it in my local brick'n'mortar shops, so if it gets broken i can easily put it back).

Ask pebble support about it i'm sure they reply.

You get another one if broken. No cost at all.

The problem is not VAT but the delivery company charging cost

My experience buying out of the UE (from Spain) is that the delivery company charges a lot more than taxes. For example, for a tablet delivered from China, I paid: 190€ for the tablet + 10€ for delivery + 38€VAT + 90€ for administrative costs. A similar thing had happened years before with some books from amazon.com.
I never expected to pay so much but the trick is that they already have your product hijacked, you have paid for it and you can not complaint to the provider because he have already said you have to pay taxes... I have promised myself never to buy anything from outside EU again.

Ordered yesterday from Italy with free shipping ... I will see what happens and I'll report back ... in my previously experiences in buying from outside EU I've been lucky ... I never paid for VAT or customs ... finger crossed!

But there are new smart watches coming to the market so i dont know if i still want to buy a Pebble...

The New Zealand Nexus 4 Thread

Updated 15/7/2013
This thread is a place for New Zealand Nexus 4 owners, or wanna-be owners to discuss/report/speculate on, or just chat about our phones.
I've compiled a list of options showing where/how we can purchase the Nexus 4 in New Zealand...
Expert Infotech (Updated 15/7/2013)
16GB Black Nexus 4 $548.06 NZD
http://einfo.co.nz/shop/lg-nexus-e960-16gb-black-special-price-p-27320.html
2degrees Online Shop (Updated 22/7/2013)
16GB Black Nexus 4 $499 NZD
https://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/sh...t__sorig=/SelectCat.do?catId=21&productId=290
Warehouse Stationary (Updated 15/7/2013)
16GB Black Nexus 4 $699 NZD
http://www.w[email protected]WSL-B2C
MobiCity NZ (Updated 15/7/2013)
16GB Black Nexus 4 $678.86NZD
http://www.mobicity.co.nz/lg-nexus-4-16gb.html
Here is the US GooglePlay Option...
Nexus 4 from Google Play USA (Updated 30/1/2013) This option involves using:
A VPN (recommend Tunnelbear), http://www.tunnelbear.com/
A parcel forwarding service in the US - NZ Post have YouShop http://www.nzpost.co.nz/products-services/online-shopping/youshop (It's worth noting that some members here have had a very mediocre experience with YouShop lately - One has even had his phone stolen after arriving in the YouShop warehouse! This is not indicative of everybody's dealings with them, but I would recommend caution with this option. There are plenty of other companies which may give you a better end result).
Setting up your Google Wallet with the YouShop address in the US (or whatever the address is of your Parcel Forwarding company)
I have read that some people have set up entirely new Google Accounts, so that may also help...
Finally you'll need a whole lot of luck - this seems to have worked for a few people, but not others.
16GB Black Nexus 4 (Ships in 1-2 weeks) $349 USD Shipping costs in the US $15 USD Shipping to NZ via Youshop $15 USD GST/DUTY $87 USD Total Cost $465 USD or $567 NZD
8GB Black Nexus 4 (Ships in 1-2 weeks) $299 USD Shipping costs in the US $15 USD Shipping to NZ via Youshop $15 USD GST/DUTY $0 Total Cost $329 USD or $401 NZD
The US Google Play Store is by far and away the cheapest option available, so if you can do this option, I would recommend you give it a go.
Here are some links to the cases and screen protectors I have on my Nexus 4...
Cases:
SF Matte Black - Rearth Ringke SLIM for LG Google Nexus 4 Soft Feeling Premium Hard Case - ECO Package [Revised Version] $9.99 USD Standard Shipping (averages 10-16 business days) $12.00 USD Total Cost $20.99 USD or $26 NZD (I have a white and a black one of these - seem pretty good so far. Light and slim. There's a minor fitment issue with the original batch of these, but the manufacturers have since revised it and they are replacing the defective ones for free)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00A81H176/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&smid=A8YCUEQIOX5AP
Screen Protectors:
Google Nexus 4 Screen Protector Steinheil Dual $13.99 USD Shipping $5.04 USD Total $19.03 or $23 NZD (I have used SPG for all my phones screen protectors and they have been great. This one for the Nexus 4 has a front and back screen protector)

Good to know I am not the only one suffering. So far it seems you have already reached into most of the options, I also thought about YouPost but the amount of work required not to mention the added costs, I don't think its worth it. I am just hoping that stocks arrive at the parallel imported sites and the price isn't too hefty. I wish us kiwis weren't discriminated by Google, they have a lot of potential customers here in NZ.
Im also waiting impatiently. I guess we just have to wait, New zealand is such a tiny market compared to other countries. Im keeping an eye out for overseas stores that will ship here to get stock

Me too!!! We should hopefully know more about the price from the parallel imported stores in the next week or two. Google is potentilally missing out by not offering us (and other countries) these services (I guess it's us who ultimately miss out though)!. We may not have the biggest market, but we would be loyal! I'd also love to be able to buy my music from the playstore instead of itunes. I already have 4500 songs uploaded to google music in anticipation of having to downgrade storage on my phone from 16GB internal and 64GB external to the 16GB of the nexus 4, but I don't have the new phone to stream it on!

I reckon you would be best to hold out for the nexus 4. If you're willing to wait a little bit longer then it looks like sony might actually be bringing out a flagship model that will compete directly with the iphone 5 and SGS3 while still being very compatible with the custom rom community...that being said, I know I don't want to wait and I'd love to get my hands on a nexus 4 tomorrow!...

So I messaged LG and asked when they expected to be selling the device in NZ and the reply was they had no idea when or if they would be selling it here. That leaves this in the hands of parallel importers which will be random and pricey.
Started looking on eBay in US and Aus but it was all getting to hard but then as luck would have it I saw someone listing one on TradeMe for $735 and I just had to have it so I used the buy now lol I think this might end up being a good price for this device I just can't wait to get my hands on it.

Check sites like borderlink or comgateway that allow you to shop in the US and then ship it to your real address. Many Europeans/Asians are using this method. Both are compatible with Amazon.com, I'm not sure for Best Buy or Google Play

It should release in EU soon. Play store in UK now has movies etc added. I also was able to order another chromecast today from bestbuy here in the US for deliver next week. Surprisingly I also got another netlfix code emailed to me. I'm planning on mailing this to my friend in Osaka. These are tough to purchase, even googlers can get them BUT you can beg people here! Perhaps not all are trying to profit.
Have this same problem in Australia. $100+ on eBay from American sellers. Hopefully Google will make it available here soon along with the new Nexus 7.

yeah it rocks ! for me this phone has the ideal screen size so it's still usable with one hand and is powerful enough for everything. the only problem, like for all Sony phones since the beginning, is the TFT technology. I wonder why the hell Sony did not implement IPS screens earlier.

On my side I thought that the white one would win, but the black seems still much demanded. So sad!! : D

White C5503 bought in Manila, Philippines for around $450. Was planning to get the mint green, but they only had the C5502 in that color and my cell service comes with LTE, so I settled for the white 4G model and got a mint green case for it.
The C5502 goes for around $420 here. You can also pay more for an extended Sony warranty which comes with a few more "freebies", but I just got the basic set. I've also seen the Xperia A being sold locally for around $480 but only in pink!

I would buy direct from Sony. There is a part in the terms and conditions that say if you do not buy it from a authorised Sony reseller, then the warranty may not be valid.
I bought mine off ebay. Its now been 5 weeks and its still not back. I'd never do that again!
If you're a student or college faculty member, you can buy from Sony for 10% off (I think). So it'll be around $585

All should know too that many times "refurbished" only means it was returned to the store without anything wrong with it. They cannot then sell it as "new", so they have to call the item refurbished. In the case of the Gear, where we heard it had a high return rate late last year, I would take advantage of an offer like this if you see it come up again.

Yeah, that's fine, but I am just saying that's been the best deal for the Gear in the US so far from what I have seen. It's a good value purchase at $130 anyways. For $300, the original price, not worth it. I chose the Gear 1 for the functionality and price. The Gear 2 only has a heart rate sensor and IR Blaster, which cannot vouch for a $200 price difference.
Pricing update FYI
Just thought I would post for those that are interested.
Amazon has the original Gear for 120.33 they are listed as used but they are being shown as Amazon Warehouse inventory which very often are customer returns. Free two day shipping if you are a prime member as well. Also eligible for standard return and refund policies from Amazon. Also this is for Jet Black.

Just picked one up today from Best Buy's eBay site. $89 - $20 eBay loyalty coupon that splashed on the screen.
Could not pass up for $69.
Probably will sell it the instant the Moto watch comes out, but for now, it's a cheap toy!
