Chinese store - App Stores

Hi there,
China is a huge Android market and I would want to publish my application there. The problem is that in general you need a phone number from china in order to publish applications. Is there a service that can publish your application? I have published my application on other markets, I am most of interested of the chinese markets. My application is free so I am only interested in having more people that use it. I don't want to publish a paid application. Someone from China should not have any problem to publish the application.
Thanks

I use GetLocalization or Ackuna, contrib sites where real people can support you, and vice versa.

Official Amazon App

I know a ton of people check this subforum for new application releases from the big companies and I didn't see this mentioned.
Amazon Mobile has released an official application for Android.
Get it: http://www.cyrket.com/package/com.amazon.mShop.android
Search, compare prices, read reviews, and securely purchase from Amazon and thousands of other merchants. Includes Remembers: Snap a photo or scan a barcode, and we will try to find a similar product on Amazon.com. Many matches are instant; others take just a few minutes. Requires OS 1.5 or greater.

Thanks for posting this!
As I always do with big companies like this, I checked Amazon's website to see if they truly had released an app and someone wasn't just playing with us in a phishing scam. It's legit, it's real, and here's the link:
Amazon's Press Release
I'm not a huge Amazon user, but I do shop there from time to time. This is really a great way to reach customers. Kudos to Amazon!
Now if they could just make a Kindle reader for Android...

Could you (or anyone else for that matter) please post the apk file?
I've just searched for it here in the spanish android market and can't find it.
I use to buy stuff from Amazon and an app like this would be great.

It's a tool some italian guys developed before Google opened the Italian market for paid apps so they could buy in the US one.
Besides allowing that, it comes with an added benefit and it's that it allows getting any app from the US market, even if it isn't available for the UK, Spanish or any other market.
The app requires root, but that I suppose won't be a problem for any xda user. You can get it here
Amazon.com app
Just found out about this app and it sounds really interesting. Only issue is it's not available on the market in the UK (at least... I assume it isn't. I can't find it...)
Would someone be able to upload the apk? It's a free app so I'm not stealing it or anything
And I understand it probably only searches amazon.com, but I'm really not that bothered about that
There's already discussion on this. It was the third result when I searched: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=544239

Use the Market Enabler to spoof your region to say the US, so you can buy paid apps.

I cant see a reason to not root, but ok.
Quickoffice can't handle Office 2007 docs
Does anybody know if Documents to Go can please?
Since you can simply look it up on Market, especially since the actual description on the Market for Docs to Go, it states it supports doc, docx, xls & xlsx under the free version. So the answer to your question is yes.

[REQ] MTV News and NBC Nightly News for those outside the USA

Hi there,
can anyone share these two apps here for those of us that have non-USA unlocked devices, please?
Thanks in advance!
Yes, I do not understand why these apps are not available outside the US. What a shame....
This kind of apps shall be available worldwide.
Come on, how come no one takes the time to share these two apps?
Meanwhile, here you have the VEVO app for those outside US, Canada an the UK (attached to this post). I have it installed on my European Omnia 7 and it's working fine.
Share the love guys!

This isn't just about the US, I'm French but some French apps aren't available to me in the UK like LePoint.fr or RTL Football. It's a shame the marketplace isn't universal.

[Q] Post paid application in Google Play from unsupported country

Hello there!
I am from Greece and I am looking for a way to post my application to Google Play. I am willing to pay the 25$ fee but my country is not listed on the supported countries (cannot post link to the supported countries because of low posts limit).
So, what are my options? May I create a bank account on a foreign bank based on a supported country (and then connect that bank account to my paypal?)
Also, why are some countries not supported? Why Google Wallet cannot be directly connected to Paypal and forward the payments there?
Can someone give a brief explanation about the possible solutions/options?
[To the mods: I know that this is a question but I feel this is the most relevant place to post it, as it is a Google Play experience. If you do not agree with this, please move this to the appropriate location.]
I'm facing the same problem, just use your own credit card, register your Google Account, choose a supported country as your country. Then you can join Google Play developer.
But if you want to sell paid apps, you need to open a bank account from the country above. Google doesn't check if you're from that country, just check the bank account.
I've opened two accounts for paid apps in this way.

Has anyone volunteered to help? Why don't you create your own Google Play account? It's better to have your own account than ask someone to publish it for you.
