How well does the pebble reconnect to phone after disconnect? - Pebble

I am on the fence to get a pebble but I read some problems with the pebble reconnecting to the phone after it goes out of range. I want to confirm this with you guys before I get one.
Here's how I would use it:
I usually leave my phone on my desk while I move around in the office and I would like to have a pebble just to check SMS and time. Assuming the phone is on my desk I would go out of the bluetooth range frequently and over various length of time. I would like to know if the pebble will be able to gracefully disconnect when I walk out of range and reconnect when I return. I read that I need to go into the pebble app on my phone to connect the pebble if it is disconnected for over a few minutes. Is this true?
Thanks

Mine reconnects quite quickly. No need to worry about it

When I changed custom Roms on my phone I had heaps of problems. My phone said it was connected and so did my pebble but they weren't. I had to unpair devices, factory reset pebble, clear data from pebble app. Reconnect and pair and install updates again. Was painful but wont do it again

Thanks for the info everyone!

No issues with my pebble either.

Fault or big fail with A100 car stereoclip and D160 car kit

I bought the above for my HTC one,I have set the 2 up and I'm really disappointed with the both of them.
At 1st it took 4 attempts to pair the A100 with my One, once connected and playing music ,I'd say every 10 seconds or so the sound will cut for a second and then kick back in, it automatically comes back on but it's very annoying and the fact I expected it to work flawlessly.
Once I connect the One to the A160 dock (with the A100 connected) the lag is beyond a joke theres a 1 second delay before the sound comes through my car speakers.
Anybody else experience this,I'd like to keep the both of them but when I've spent not far off £100 I expected a lot better to say the least

did you try disabling WiFi while using the BT-stuff? Worked perfectly for me.
No ,I'll give that a try hopefully that will fix it

i had the same issue with all of my five BT-Devices. Disabling WiFi did the trick. As this wasn't any good solution for me, because i love listening to web-radio over BT, i should say that you can easily switch WiFi back on after you successfully connected to the BT-Device. It won't interfere then.
Problem is known to HTC and as i heart, it already is fixed in the OTA-Update that arrived in Taiwan.
Seems to have done the trick thanks for your help

Samsung Galaxy Active s4 keeps turning off randomly

The galaxy active s4 keeps turning off randomly in my friends pocket. I'm not sure if there is an issue with the phone or maybe it's user error. If anyone has any ideas or similar issues I would really appreciate some input.

Does this happen only in his pocket? If it is it might be that he is somehow bumping into the power button. I know my phone does that sometimes, thought not often enough to be an issue.
Yeah it is in his pocket from what he said. But it seems to be happening far to much. Also, do you ever have any signal problems with it?

Mine does the exact same thing. I found that it's due to the power button getting pressed and held down, it reboots the phone after around 10 seconds or so.
Oh and I have signal issues but that's due to my cell phone provider. When I was in Hawai'i using T-Mobile it was pretty much amazing.
Thanks for all the answers guys. I appreciate it.

been having the same issues since day 1, when I first got mine it wouldn't hold a charge, it wouldn't stay on even when it was plugged in, and it would hang during charging, usually sitting around 78-77 percent, unless plugged into an AC adapter.
Earlier, when I pulled the battery, to check the IMEI or something, I popped it back in and turn the phone on, only to find I have 3% battery left? It was at ~60 when I pulled it, it was only out for about 30 seconds and the phone was only off for about 2 minutes, if that.

Strange issue with ford sync/blue tooth after 4.4 update

Just updated my phone to 4.4 and now when I try to pair my phone through sync it flashes the prompt to pair and that's it. I tried other phones and they pair fine just not mine now has anyone experienced this?

Could be sync itself have u pulled the fuse? I have to do that about every 6 months or so

Sync
make sure that you completely delete Sync from your phone and your phone from the car (Sync) Then when you pair, and it gives you the passcode, push "change code" or something along those lines. It will let you make a custom code, just put in 0000 and then put that in your phone. That should fix it. I sell new Lincolns for a living and I think everybody that I sell to has trouble with the system so I found this to be the easiest way to do it. Let me know if that helps.

Bluetooth issues

Anyone else have issues with bluetooth and calls?
When I'm in my car, it cuts in and out and is almost completely useless as a phone. Don't remember it being like this when new.
Att is sending me another phone to see if it does the same thing.

Are you using a Bluetooth headset or one built into your car or one of those aftermarket car Bluetooths?
My Bluetooth headset has been working perfectly with it so far.

Skipping effect in the car for me. Also have a hard time getting my BT headset, a Plantronics Backbeat Go, to sound right. It's very "canny" sounding until I make a phone call (an old trick). Car connection is an HTC stereo clip.

both my car ('13 vw gof tdi, stock head unit) and my headset i use in the office (lg hbs 730) seem to work fine, not sure that helps though.
This happens for me if I have my Gear 2 watch paired with it and it's streaming music in my car. It'll cut out for a second and it's not a notification.

It doesn't occur with music, just calls. Getting new phone tomorrow so it will hopefully be resolved.

Afaik it wont be resolved with new phone as well. Its a bug in kitkat. Only way to fix this is turn wifi off when connected to bluetooth and driving.

Is it a bug with kitkat on TouchWiz? I had a nexus 5 before this and never had this issue. Will try turning off wifi and see if that does anything.

I have a nexus 4 previously and now a moto x and s5. Everyphone has this issue.. My problem is when i am on call and driving for some reason i can hear others voice but others cant hear mine. If i switch to ear piece and back to bluetooth it works just fine again for sometime. So i searched a lot and found that turning wifi off solves the issue. It works for me atleast

I'm not doubting your experience at all. Though, I will add that I always have wifi off in the car when connected to Bluetooth (profile scheduler turns out of four me), but I still get the music shipping problem.

If your music stutters then it might be a problem with memory. Trying freeing up memory with clean master. Also check what process are running in settings>applications and kill some apps which are not useful for you. Try it.. Hope it works out for you
Turned wifi off and still had the issue.
Waiting on FedEx to arrive with new phone.

Gear won't charge and won't turn on

So I haven't used my gear in about a month and I've been really interested in trying to new tizen os but when I tried to charge my gear, it doesn't do anything. I left it in the cradle over night hoping it would just eventually charge and turn on. That didn't work out so I'm wondering if this happened to anyone else on here and if so, how did you get it work? Any help would be great!!

Just revived mine after finding the charging cradle last night. Opened the gear (here's a how to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WzGC0786U0&feature=kp) and then connected it to my computer and it started charging. I left it on the normal charger overnight and had no charge but now it's 8%. Going to restock it and flash tizen for more battery life.
Thanks for the quick reply @nacron I'll try that when I get home later!!! Lmk how tizen goes for you
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
BTW, you just want to take it apart to temporarily disconnect the battery from the main board, don't have to remove the camera connector, the battery is connected by 2 spring connectors
Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk
So I get back home and for some reason I try to plug the gear into the charger and what do you know. It starts to charge!!! So I'm gonna let it fully charge over night and maybe flash the tizen os. I'm still on the fence about it though. Did you end up flashing tizen @nacron?
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk
I had to flash tizen directly because Kies didn't have updates for both US and UK android. It's nice, battery is better. Arm gesture isn't as sensitive which helps I guess. No more swipe up or down to get camera and dialer, so I assigned camera to power button double tap
