Just picked up the moto x and I have a few questions - Moto X Q&A

How do you re enable apps? I can't find out where messaging asp went after I disabled it. Also is there a way to set a menu button as a soft key? I can't delete messages in Facebook because there is no menu button. Thanks on advance.

You should be able to reenable apps from the apps settings page. >Settings>Apps>-swipe to the right several times->-select app->-select enable
I can add the menu button to your navbar. You are on a sprint Moto X right? Did you take the OTA? Are you rooted? Bootloader unlocked? Recovery installed? Functioning ADB on your computer? Ill need all of the files in /system/framework/ and your SystemUI.apk and SystemUI.odex (both located in /system/app/)
If I get permabaned today (highly likely) then find me on rootzwiki under the same name.

I go to setting, apps go to all apps and it's not in there.

No. I found it though. All the apps I have disabled are in the all apps section at the very bottom. I am on a sprint moto x, didn't take any ota. I just got this phone. Previous owner could have taken the ota. Stock and unrooted. Stock recovery, I don't think I have adb any more.

Thanks.... It was what I was afraid of... I had to do that to get 4.2.1 working... :'( oh well... Now is when I wish I was routed and had a system backup, I guess there is no point now as I'll just back up this issue..

You could use carbon to back up your apps and settings. Just don't back up any system data. You don't need root for that.
Problem solved.... Google sent me a replacement... Not what I was expecting after 9 months with my prior device... Great service, but leaves me thinking they're aware of the issue hence their prompted and un-solicited suggestion of a replacement... Happy!!

Right, and so far the only way to get rid of it is to reboot my phone. Once I reboot it is gone until the next time I receive a call.

Are you on any ROMS? If so that may be the issue if it still shows in the notification after the call ends.

I have the stock ROM but my phone is rooted. Recently I did install Xposed Installer with 4 modules (Tinted Status Bar, Wanam Xposed, Xposed LED Control, and YouTube AdAway). I've looked through all their settings but can't find what could be causing my issue.

One of those may be causing the issue, try unintalling them and see if it fixes the issue.

That did the trick.
I disabled all four modules. Reboot phone. One by one I turned each module on and called my cell phone. Surprisingly enough, a setting in the LEDControl module was the culprit.
Thanks.

[App] Lollipop Messaging App

Just download and install. First time you send a message with it, it will ask if you want to set as default. This has some nice improvements over stock.

I uninstalled it. The material design is nice but it bothered me that I had to keep the stock message app also. I had the stock app hidden with xposed GEL settings but it was still bothering me. I also uninstalled the Lollipop Gmail app and is now solely running Inbox for email. My fascination with Lollipop has come to an end. Lol

Unfortunately, as Caseyk621 mentioned above, the only way I was able to get the app not to FC was to leave the stock app in there. Maybe something to do with the ROM as it is a hit and miss for lollipop apps at this point and the ways to get the apps to work are different for everyone. As an example, I have not found a way to make the lollipop calendar app to work and I've tried every way imaginable. So, at this point I am over it, back to stability and functionality for me. The rest of the eye candy will come later. Inbox is pretty cool though and is now my daily driver. The new Play Music app is awesome and the new Google Now launcher ties everything together nicely.

Go launcher?

I have used go launcher for the past few years. So naturally I installed that fist thing when I got my turbo today. But the menu button the the 3 dots stays on the screen at all times. So it blocks the bottom icons and app drawer. Anyone else have this issue. Is there a way to fix this?

Should, but I don't have that option in my go launcher. Do we have different versions? I'm on v5.09.
That was the trick it worked fine. It's not in the go launcher settings its in the system settings.

Cannot tap ok buttons

So I've got something weird going on with my nexus: a lot of times when there is an approve/disapprove option box (like the picture) I cannot tap the ok button. This happens all the time when enabling a accessibility option or when trying to grant a root privilege. Odd thing is if I connect an input device and do it that way it works no problem. Please help me fix this problem

turn show touches on in developer mode and see if it is a bad spot in your touchscreen unlikely but easy to check
Maybe you've got an app that puts an overlay over everything. Such as a screen dimmer, or screen colour changer. Android has built in security to prevent overlays being able to press buttons.
You can actually turn that off in SuperSU somewhere, but that won't work for accessibility.
