Ive been trying to set compcache on this build all day
I got adb up and ruuning but with no luck setting compcache
ive tried using someones .bat to set the user.conf but it wont work does anybody have a manual way to do it
such as through terminal or adb step by step commands(i know how to mount etc..) but no idea how to push the config please someone help meEDIT

Main thing is the OP managed to solve it, possibly by searching and finding the information he needed. If that was the case then it proved that the information was already out there with proven results. *shrugs*
Can someone tell how to install a vending.apk?
I've tried pushing through adb using Adb Explorer 0.31
didn't work
I tried batch installing it with Droid Explorer 8.31
didn't work
I also googled all about it...came up with nothing
help?!

When you say push, do you mean "adb push" or "adb install", people seem to get those confused a lot. If you are on cyanogen, you will need to adb push Vending.apk to /system/app, keep it with a capital "V" so it may overwrite the old Vending.apk

Thank you, finally somebody posted...can u believe 78 views before I got one response...this is why I dont post in questions and answers....people are more willing to help in the development forums

yes i met adb push...and i got it working before you posted, so I kind of ended up helping myself, thanx anyway
Hey everyone,
My proximity sensor & light sensor are both broken (repair shop said the cable needed changing), and thats fine with me.
I used to run MIUI and i just disabled the use of proximity sensor and autobacklight and everything worked ok.
I tried CM7.1 yesterday, and I really like it more than MIUI, but the issue im having is that most of the time, when I get or make a call (even if the phone is in my hand) the screen turns off immediately and refuses to wake up again, I have to pull the battery.
Any ideas on how to fix? thanks

try put this file (unzip first!) to /data/local/ it must be work in CM7 or maybe lower...

If you have s-off can use any filemanager with rw to system, if s-on you need load custom recovery and mount system then load adb shell and using cp command copy this files from SD to system

most likely you have s-on, use adb shell with recovery
sorry to bother again,,can anyone tell me how and where should i put this file,,i mean to data/local but how using what commands in adb,,or what do i neeed to mount if u use clockwork,,,thnx thnx thnx i am really greatfull and sorry for the bother again
look in phone specific thread how to get access to system and search simple linux commands, like copy, remove etc
Thanks man i did the thing using droid explorer as an app and workis fine ,,the only thing i notice up to now is the loss of the ability to put widgets i ownload from market in louncher , ,,

i can enable and disable superuser.if i set default access :grant. ican get su,and delete some file in /system/app.if i set default access:deny, i can't get su.

I have exactly the same problem with a Huawei Y550 stock ROM (Android 4.4.4, EMUI 2.3). I tested SuperSU 2.79 and 2.46. Did you find a solution to this problem ?
Please! SIM isn't working anymore! You can safely export the QCN file using QFIL and share it with me. It's totally safe and will only take few minutes, but it will save my phone. So please!

If you dialing *#*#7177171#*#* and it doesn't work, you will need root access to run the following command via adb:
adb shell
su (here you grant root rights)
setprop sys.usb.config diag,adb
