[Q] Keyboard layout - Asus Transformer TF701

Does Asus supply different keyboard layouts on its dock to different parts of the world? If so, does anyone have a list of SKUs for different layouts?
I wanna buy one in Europe (Germany or UK preferred) but wanna have US keyboard layout. Also, is 64GB version available in Europe?

I've got an AZERTY dock. Bought in Belgium.

Ok in that case then any european country will have them ie UK i know definitely has Diamonds now with the newest rom unless you want to try ebay but im sure most of the Diamonds on there are the grey imports ie older roms with plenty of problems.

thank you, Mr. Spawn
Its probably cheaper for you to buy one from HK. You can upgrade the rom anyway.
Look on ebay, or just google!

Comperative pricing (and you need to check the FX rate yourself, yes)
Honk Kong Downtown : 5.680 HKD
Hong Kong Duty Free (Airport) 6.180 HKD (higher commision due to expensive rent of shops)
Taiwan (soon) 23.500 TWD (which is the same as my "old" Belgian franc)
PDAshop.be (my old seller) 558 Euro for the UK version. (migh be import HK)
Amazon.com: TBA
Please continue this price list on this thread as comparison for all potential buyers

Dutch version

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and to Windows Mobile. I'm planning to get a new Diamond 2 in The Netherlands. Searching I've found that I can get the MDA Compact V version from T-Mobile NL or go for the HTC Diamond 2 version on T for Telecom. My biggest concern is that I want to have the device in ENGLISH, does anyone from The Netherlands know which versions are sold here and which language they ship with?
Is it possible to change the language afterwards in case it comes in dutch? I've seen some threads talking about the need of flashing the ROM for this. I'm a really new to all this so I don't know if that is possible using official HTC ROMS or is something else...
I don't know if I make much sense, sorry again if I talk non-sense.
Thanks!
In almost every shop you can choose between the NLD (Dutch) version and the UK (WWE) version. Just ask at the shop.
Thanks, I'll try that. I had assumed that being in The Netherlands all shops will be selling only the Dutch version.
Sorry, but you can't chose between langages in the shops in The Hague, especialy at Bel Company. They don't care if you want an english version and they become very arogant about that. Best thing is to buy one in dutch if they don't want to provide one in english and ask nicely CMONEX to help you to change the language in english.
Thanks for the info iulnitu. I'll check on Saturday and see if I can get it in English. It's a bit strange that this happened to you at Bel Company. In their website they are announcing both version NL and UK, you can check here:
http://www.belcompany.nl/NL/Ik_Wil/een_nieuw_toestel.htm
Anyway, I'll guess I'll find out personally this Saturday. Anyone with a similar experience?
pdashop.nl sells devices in NL en ENG. Other sites do too.
T-Mobile will probably only sell the Dutch device. If you want to get a WWE version you'll have to look at a HTC Touch Diamond 2 (Not MDA Compact V).

Different versions

Is there a way to identify the HTC touch diamond 2 for the UK from its box? I need to get the UK version and not the Hong Kong one. Is there a way to tell which is which from the box? I am talking about the unlocked version. Thanks
Any ideas? Anyone?

[Q] How Can You Tell Where Your International Note is From?

I just got my International Note from Amazon and I was wondering how can you tell where this is from? I know a lot of people got the German version but I just can't tell which country mine was for? Can someone help me?
if you did not flash any ROM
check ur CSC code
Check under the battery. That's where the hardware was made. CSC is the region of the software. Mine is "Made By Samsung", but a lot of others are reporting "Made In Korea" and other places.
I live in the Netherlands but received the Polish version apparently - easily noticable because the manual was only in Polish language - no English whatsoever
Also when i first booted it, the startup text was in Polish

I'm curious where my German one was made as it simply says "Made by Samsung."

Is that what it actually says under the battery?
And just my "two cents"...
It says "Made in Korea by Samsung" on my German Note, which I bought brand new. It came with manuals in German and English and the language was set up to German when I powered the phone for the first time.
Mine is "Made By Samsung", and i got english, norwegian, swedish and danish manuals. Purchased it from Tele2 (Norway).
Mine says Made in Japan on the battery.
Bought Unlocked in India.

I've certainly seen Samsung branded batteries made in Japan. But what does it say on the label of the phone itself, the sticker located UNDER the battery? The same sticker that shows IMEI and S/N ...

Mine too.
Is there a country named Samsung or something? Where are these "Made By Samsung" units actually produced? Japan? Korea? China? Republic of Samsung?
if written "Made By Samsung" that means it is actually made in China. Most of the battries made in Japan.

Hi,
Only through ebay, as this phone was marketed only by Verizon Wireless in USA.
Usually the biggest selection is on ebay.com, but you can find a few Droid 4 on ebay.de and ebay.co.uk.
