D802 intl + incipio dual pro - G2 Accessories

I bought this case for my LG D802 Asian, and fits perfect, the size is like my Galaxy S2 + Otterbox, less bulky than an Otter.
I like the black mate and the phone doesn´t slip so easy like when it doesn´t have the case

The case box

Thanks you for the pics!

There is no need of screen protector in this phone, it has Gorilla glass 2.

can you make picture with phone next to it, front and side on flat service?
Sent from my LG-D802

can you post pic of the usb port of the bottom? how big is the cut out?

The second picture is with the phone near the cover, to have an idea, the G2 with this cover is near the same width of my Galaxy S2 with Otter Box and the depth is exactly the same as my S2 with Otter, the lenght is larger because the phone is larger

I saw meenova, personally I think it will fit ok, its only 1 mm of rubber

Okay thanks for the input citytrader. So if I decided to buy incipio then on their site which carriers should I choose?
I'm using D802 Asian too

I bought it at ebay at this dealer:
http://www.ebay.com/usr/cellcase4u
My experience was great, my cover arrived to Mexico in 6 days, very fast.
Personally I think that any cover that fits G2 T-Mobile, AT&T or Sprint will fit D802.
The customer support of INCIPIO is horrible, I dont understand why because the case is nice, not bulky like Otterbox, I think is enough to protect the phone.
Try to check at ebay or ask directly to INCIPIO where to buy the DUALPRO T- MOBILE variant, the models I saw are colored, personally I prefer black, but is matter of taste!

Okay... thanks.. will contact the seller then

Yikes, seems like the rubber portion attracts lots of dust/lint (top/bottom) of your pics. Maybe I should get the Spigen instead to avoid that.

It attacts not lot of dust, in the picture seems worse than really it is, if you pass your hand you will clean it easy.
Personally I dont like the Spigen because its bigger and the hole in the flash is so small that could affect the beam and personally I like more the black mate back of Incipio.

Good point about the flash. I read about it earlier somewhere on this forum, but I didn't think much of it. If the flash isn't properly dispersed, it may very well affect picture quality.
I'm planning on getting the white dual pro to match my white G2 that I'll be ordering soon. Hopefully the grey rubber bottom doesn't show dust/lint as much. I'm mainly concerned not with it being there, but that it might constantly be getting on my hands and may make the case slightly difficult to hold (I had a TPU silicon case for an iPod Touch one time and it was terrible with lint).
Do you think there's enough room on the sides of the case to have a tempered glass screen protector there without experiencing any lifting?

Most of the case is plastic and from my point of view this case is optimal because it does not slip from my hands.
About tempered glass, totally useless in phones with Gorilla Glass and total waste of money, for one side, this type of screen (Gorilla glass) never get an scratch with normal use, for the other this kind of screen degrades the clarity of the G2's wonderfull screen.
I have a Galaxy S2 for two year and still I see one scratch, of course maybe you will found something if you look at the microscope hehehe.... but from the normal eye sight, there is nothing and this is what matter most.

Yea, most likely one doesn't need a screen protector, but even with gorilla glass, I would feel more comfortable with one on there. Never know when I may drop the phone by accident and any additional protection helps. I don't particularly like to see any scratches on my screens, so I know it would bother me if there was on there.
Also, I'd probably get a higher resale value for keeping it in better condition!

Diztronic matte case.. and Spigen HD Ultra Crystal Screen Protectors..

Just thought I'd give my 2 cents on these.. I just applied the Ultra Crystal Spigen screen protector and yes they are ultra clear.. other than barely being able to see the edges around the perimeter they are undetectable. Exactly what I was looking for.. I stopped using screen protectors because they always compromised in some way the quality of the screen and I've tried a few of the most popular.. these are fantastic.. 2 for $13 and pretty darn easy to apply. The only down side from the reviews I had watched was they are harder to clean off fingerprints than the glass.
Also I received the Diztronic matte finish super thin case.. it's slightly soft and has the matte finish. I believe this is the thinnest best case that will give a decent amount of drop protection.. definitely not the greatest protection but way better than a naked phone. $9 on amazon. It seems really good quality .. the cutouts are bevelled smooth . I really like the feel of it and it barely wraps around the bezel.. so it doesn't mess with the screen protector.. which I was slightly worried about.
i concur with your feedback on the Diztronic case... i will always use a case and this one has the right balance of protection, thinness and coverage.
Just uploaded a video of a kickstand I added to the case.. it's pretty cool and cheap.. and somewhat ghetto but very functional.
>>>>>>>>>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyUyy8_mOA0
I have had a diztronic case of the same type on my Galaxy Nexus for the past year and a half and I love it. I'm dying here waiting for the Verizon G2 version to release.
I have the same brand on my current phone and love it.
I'm considering this case but I'm a bit skeptical. It appears to have a thicker area around the edges... Kinda like a bumper. Is this true? Does the front of the case cover any of the screen?
As far as the back.. It looks like the buttons are a bit deeper down because of the case. Does this make the buttons any harder to push while holding with 1 hand?
Thanks for posting this BTW

nope.. the lip where it comes over the front of the screen doesn't cover any of the screen.. it only covers the very tiny bezel surrounding the screen. As far as the buttons on the back.. they are a bit deeper down because of the case but it actually makes it easier to find them.. your fingers just drop right down in where they are and it doesn't effect pushing them at all that I've noticed. After a couple days with the phone and a day with case and screen protector I'm feeling pretty darn good about the whole deal... like I'm done. Well.. till the lg g3 comes out :good:

Yeah you can see from the OP's pics that it doesn't have a cutout of the tiny mic hole on the rear casing of the AT&T version. This case is definitely on my watch list, although I have a Poetic Palette on it right now and really appreciate the minimal bulk it adds while offering basic scratch/ding protection and a better grip. So right now it's either keep the Poetic, an Incipio Feather once they're available, or this case once it's available for AT&T. That's where my thoughts are right now anyways.

I just bought this case the other day and I love it. It protects the phone well enough while still being thin and easy to slip in/out of my pocket. I don't use a screen protector so I can't attest to that aspect.
..
Well its a nice case to be considered for G2....but the same confusion is also arising in my mind regarding the screen protector....whether it would be compatible with it or not.....because as the pics are displayed it might peel off the screen protector....if anybody has used it please post the pics.....

but pretty good screen protector 7 out of 10
case - i like the simple look so im pretty happy with the case, a bit tough to take out once you put it on, but thank god theirs no battery to pull out

Happy to say i found a red case that's similar to this style. unfortunately I have to remove my bodyguardz clear skin from the phone for it to fit.
I don't think I'm ready do that. Do any of you guys with this case have a skin on your phone? How's the fitment?
To the OP
I got this case today. It's the best feeling case I've used to date on any phone.
I don't use protectors but I think this will play nice with them. It doesn't come way over the bezel like other cases.
I love this case and its design. So sturdy and nice feeling.

i'm using it right now with spigen slim armor, i could say this thing is somehing else
easy install, very scratch resistant and tough i say, BUT!
when you play games and the phone heats up, it peeled a little at the sides!!!!
thats the case if you use it face down, gravity pulls it off
Note: don't know wheter its just me or anyone have this problem
might be suitable with cases with bigger bezel to keep it in place.
overall, i can still live with that. no scratch at all from countless time in-and-out from my jeans
glass cleaner works perfect with this, but don't spray it directly, might get inside some holes
my doughnut falls on it once, no scratch at all:victory:

How is the fit and finish of the product after it was installed? Close up pics would be great as well :good:
Taken with 8mp Sony ST18i:good:
the edge seems visible yes, but it's only because of my camera (lighting reflection maybe?)
finish is good, but not that friendly with fingerprints
at first it feels a bit rough, after a few wipes and cleaning then it starts to feel comfortable

I just put one on today and it doesn't cover the whole screen. There is about 2/8 of the screen not covered on each side. I have two of them and there both the same. Im returning them because these are def not covering the screen like it should.
I bought one of these. I love it. I don't know how much protection it would offer in the event of a drop face down with no case, but I think it was worth the money spent. It's definitely glass. No it doesn't come out to the edges all the way, but pretty damn close. Perfect for a case.
I have one haven't put it on yet. Still use my copter.
Noticed to it doesn't cover all the screen but I use a bumper so that's OK.
I would not recommend it if u want a protector use copter. Lifetime warranty. Just fill out a online form and tray send u another one. (even if u haven't bougt one in the first place)

Bee using it for over a month. No bubbles edges are sticking. It covers entire screen. Its cut precisely so it's difficult aligning it to the T. But it will cover entire screen. You just gotta be nice.
I have scratched it, one decent scratch. Other minor surface scratches. All in all I'm happy

Cases! Screen protectors! OR Naked!!!

Having bought my first note and seeing as it's a pretty looking thing I was dubious about getting a case, not only because it'd ruin the aesthetics of the device but it'd make it even bigger.
That being said I did find some which keep some of the aesthetics and provide some decent protection.

Definitely. I have both and my ip6+ screen scratched from top but nothing
Happened to note4. Both devices are in seperate pockets with nothing else. Therefore what i say is definitely true in my case.
I wish I had the bold confidence of anyone that dares to go bare with this phone. I'm not taking any chances, I have a screen protector(just a cheap plastic one for now till they sort out the glass designs) and a Tech 21 case on it.
At the moment i'm awaiting my protection, I simply don't have the balls to go without, if I had to I could buy another one but I'd rather not.
Plus the case's i've picked look decent, obviously not as good as without but I'll bet it bounces better should I drop it.

Yeah, its only an $800 phone that costs a lot to fix if you drop it & shatter the screen. How silly for anyone to want to protect their expensive items from wear and damage
Overkill or not, I think it's much wiser to get a nice-looking case & a screen protector than let your expensive phone get all dinged up and look like s**t, but to each their own I guess.

If he's got money to blow then fair enough, sure I could buy another too but I'd prefer not to throw money away either.
I found with the Ringke Slim case I got scratches on the aluminium edges. Not sure if it was the phone or the case. I am now considering getting a new case but am not sure.
The neo hybrid scratched my bezel a little but, due to it being slightly loose on the edges, I have a ice Uag fits tight as hell, which you would think removing an applying it would scratch the bezel but no, no new scratches since I got the Uag case regardless of how tight the case fits. And I mean TIGHT.
Also any tempered glass screen protector that fits this new screen, without the halo effect by some of the more known and expensive brands, fit like ass.

Wow that's extremely nice. I like the the UAG cases also. But I don't have any right now. Using it with just a screen protector. I always seem to run caseless at some point with every phone I've had, typically using a case within the first 6 months or so. I seem to be going backwards with this one lol

OnePlus 5T Official Tempered Glass Screen Protector Review

Hi folk,
With another OnePlus product comes another OnePlus attempt at making a tempered glass screen protector which works for it. Will it be this time that is the magic attempt?
If you dont want to or can't watch the video here are my thoughts:
Yes, they seem to have finally made a tempered glass which fits perfectly on the screen without much cut off. I say much as I think there is still a tiny cut off, but it's nowhere near as noticeable as it was on the 3/3t or 5. If you want to take a look, its on the video at around the 4:04 mark.
The quality is excellent, you can barely feel or see that it's there. There are no sharp edges as the screen tapers off at the edge. It's a full glue screen protector so there is no dot matrix or rainbox effects. You do however have to be fairly careful whilst applying it and taking it off its bed as it feels like it could snap fairly easy if you rush it.
Pros:
Good fit
Feels premium
No dot matrix
No rainbox effect
Cons:
Pricey
Could break easily whilst installing
On the pricey mark, if OP have managed to make this perfect this time, I'd expect third party manufacturers to release a similar product soon at a cheaper price. So if you want to wait and do that I wouldn't blame you.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Jono
Thanks for that, good to know as I ordered one with my 5T.
Hopefully there is a decent bunch of 3rd party ones too.
A spigen tempered glass is my all time favorite screen guard.

Thanks for this. I wanted to know how much it will cut of the screen but its much lesser than earlier.
But i need to disagree something with you. You (and many others) said it was issue etc. on OP3/3T/5 what last TGSP cutted off screen. Well it wasnt really issue or fault on Oneplus side. They needed to choose to have adhesives only on sides and no cut-off or adhesives on fully but had to cut-off. That was because of OP3/3T/5 front glass design where glass started ro bend (2.5D) earlier than usual. Thats why black borders was bigger as otherwise you would get ugly halo's and nobody likes that.
About price. Dont know where you leave but here in Finland 20€ price is nearly cheapest TGSP avaible here. Usually TGSP's here costs around 25-50€ depending of phone model so 20€ is more than just normal price for us. So okay maybe its little pricey compared ro your country but on many others it isnt.
This is my first OP device so I know nothing about past issues, but this is by far the best fitting, best sealing TGSP I have ever installed. Typically with screen protectors the edges do not want to seal/stick but the squeegee made quick work of getting all the bubbles out. There are a few pieces of inevitable lint but not one single bubble.
It does cut a tiny bit of the screen off which gives a weird depth to the screens appearance so for that I give it 9/10. If it was totally clear or just had the black at the top and bottom it would be 10/10 for sure.
Is it possible to use tpu case along with this 3d tempered glass?

I'm using the original one and is perfect with the original case/Bumper.
Mine is not so perfect and the screen is slightly cover on the edge. is not a huge problem, but is noticeble if you see the phone from a side.
in any case is far better than the original plastic protector and perfect with a case.

It works with all the official cases you can get from OnePlus and I see no reason to why it wouldn't work with a standard TPU. Will let you know more when I get some cases.

Because of edge alignment, it doesn't work on the OP5, so I'll order only if it's going to work with tpu case i got.

Does anyone notice that the display looks a little grainy with the OnePlus tempered glass? I haven't used the phone without the protector, so I'm not too sure if it's the protector or the display that is a little grainy.

The one that came in the box. I want to order a 3d tempered glass and a premium case so that they can work together. Looking yet for a compatible combo.

I just removed the protector to see how the screen looks naked. The "grainy-ness" is gone. I also noticed a potential problem with the protector. The adhesive doesn't go all the way to the top or bottom of the protector, so when I removed it I found a lot of dust stuck to the top and bottom bezel of the phone. This could cause scratches. Even though the scratches would not be on the display, I don't want scratches anywhere on the glass. If I keep this phone I'll try an IQshield.
With the bubbles settling behind, a lot of little dust has been captured.
I also notice grainy-ness. I'm likely going to ditch it and just go naked...
I just got my for 10€. And yes, it still crops a bit from both sides but not like OP3/3T/5. And yes, there is grainy-ness as stated above. You cant notice on black background but on white yes.
I bought the '5T full scratch protection' bundle with my phone. I have an unopened "3D Tempered Glass Screen Protector" and an opened (but unused) "Sandstone Protective Case". My plan was going to be to use the case until Spigen comes out with a 5T case, but I just decided to rock the case that came with my 5T instead.

To be frank I wouldn't have noticed the grainy screen till I read your comment. But now that I've read it.... The screen protector does induce the grainy effect. It's a perfect fit imho, though it definitely does give out that grainy effect. I'm guessing I'll stop noticing it in a couple of days time.
I had an extra IQshield (wet apply) protector for a Pixel 2 XL. I cut a little off the top and it fit fine. I must say, the IQshield is very clear, no grainy screen for me.
I have to put my 2 cents in on this. The official tempered glass is pretty great. I had no issue installing, it stayed in place, zero bubble at all, and feels great. using it with the official sandstone case.
