hopefully in cm11 earphones with no mic will work in calls.

Post Moved to Android Development.
Unofficial compiles from CM, PA, etc, are not considered "Original Development".
Also, OP you need to provide Source links. (check your PM)
MD

Great! Downloading now
Could you make a guide about how to compile CM11 from source?

For Unlocked bootloader only I guess ?

fastboot flash the boot.img first then try install again.

How's the battery....lol

@shoey63
have you check if your cwm is 6.0.4.4 above ? is your bootloader unlocked
I have checked before I uploaded the rom
uh everyone who asked there are bugs but this is more like a test rom I will update if when Im free so when the next build it will get better and better stay tune and those may be wondering how did I compiled I followed the source

Camera, sound seems not working. When I call someone, phone is FC. A little laggy.
Sent from my C6603 using Tapatalk

smooth so far, added my battery tweaks to build prop and usual settings, no battery drain noticable. has weird red edge flashing (noticed in a lot of phone's unofficial cm11 builds so far so im guessing it's not that big a deal considering it only happens in setup anyway)

It's working now, just had to flash the kernel first

just to let everyone know cm11 has a deep sleep issue where the phone isnt sleeping... so until this is fix and several bugs is fixed I would suggest stay away from CM11 it would be nice if someone can compile a bug list so I can let the developers know what is wrong
as for the camera and sound I think it requires new blobs from sony :\ as we are using 4.2.2

just noticed that FXP 246 is also CM11 release anyone tried ?

No way I'm trying that rom when they mirror it with uploaded and deposit files. Some times I don't understand fxp at all

Gapps download link says the file is not found.

He just needs to create a new thread. He did what CM did, he started building CM 10.1 releases and stopped developing CM 10 abruptly. His OP is just out of date.
A Mod needs to step into his thread and just state that, IMO.

Flashed and this is really smooth. But I hate the new nav bar layout, so flashed back to PA 1.9b. Either way, using your great work, d2dyno!

Yeah, it took me some getting used to, but for 4.2.1, it's well worth it!

Not working?
Could you tell me if there are some known major issues with this ROM (or at least direct me to a "log of known issues")?
Are cameras working in the meantime?
Thanks in advance
Does anyone know how to/if you can get the search bar in nova to be white like the stock launcher in 4.2?

Big thanks to
Specifically every person here that does work on the Exhibit, from developing to just making constructive posts!
Huge huge huge thanks to ALL our resident source builders.
2/25/13 Notes
Alright, I've tightened up the rom a LOT and it will use much less ram and be more efficient in general.
On the first boot make sure to grant SuperSU access, SuperSU works better with this rom in general
and this release has no issues with root whatsoever.
The stock Kernel is fine speed-wise now, and there should not be any significant lag or slow-down from
using it, but I've also uploaded a modified DBK that Tim has given me the ok to use for people who want
overclocking and so on!
Downloading now, will begin testing as soon as its loaded. One question, is the MIUI home FC issue of the past fixed?

All FC issues are resolved I made a Kernel specifically for MIUI roms on our device, it is included with this rom
The Home, Theme FCs and so on were the result of us not having a MIUI Kernel
Awesome, looking forward to this.

Worth noting If you flash any other kernel it will break the rom : P
Very nice work, I've noticed a little slowdown here and there but nothing major. Its pretty smooth. So far everything seems to work fine, it has been less than 24 hours, but I'm really liking the rom so far. Thanks for this.
Edit: I found that the slowdown was from my error, it was a bad tweak. The rom is super smooth now.

the theme controll seems to keep force closing
battery life has been atrocious on this one
I'd like to start by saying If you try to flash an OC kernel or any kernel beside the one provided, it will BREAK the rom.
When installing any new rom, It's best to let the device discharge the battery fully, then make sure the phone receives a complete charge before booting, If you do not do this on any rom you try battery life will be atrocious.
I've begun testing a build which does not require a custom Kernel, but for the build that does eventually I will try to add support for the other kernels we have
So this kernel is not oced and nobody responded to my download issue

Sorry, Download on d-h.st? Can you specify
and nah, the kernel has no OCing whatsoever, If you guys have a favorite kernel suggest and I'll make the required edits to them
and, with my fully fresh install, theme control is FC-ing
what did you do to the kernel to make it a "miui" kernel

Its just an init.rc edit to call shelld, I've also heard of folks using an init.d script to call shelld as well but doing so seems to break the rom

Do you mean theme manager? Do you have an Xiaomi account logged in? It needs it to pass DRM
Looks great, I'm installing this rom. This was buried in my to-do list all day, and I finally got some time before sleep to do so. I have never used an MIUI rom before, so I must ask, when you say flash G-apps seperatly, which package do I flash? There is a MIUI specific g- apps flash? Do I just use the available jelly bean gapps? What shall I do?
I'm kinda confused here.
So it's MIUI version 3.2.8, not the true MIUI v4 right?
You named this MIUIv4 ??

Addons and tips
If on the first install, you are prompted to update any stuff please do it.this is a port off my rom from the HD2 so some apps are a bit outdated and may be buggy
Use the app quarantine app provided in the rom to disable the launcher you aren't using at the moment so that the two lockscreens do not interrupt with each other
The current MIUI theme included is a bit outdated and buggy please use something from here, here or here
Due to pa preferences going closed source, the pa preferences app is not included in this rom.please find it elsewhere and paste it in /system using a root explorer
Please report a bug using logcat/screenshots
Please read the whole op before complaining

Me too full boot completely and smoothly, which is just as well ...
If there is a touch installer to let you customize and choose icons pack, launcher, notification, , lockscreen, toggle, dialer and messenger etc
from any of the other rom. This would be even better.
Also, please consider to include gesture control from Ubuntu touch and hand motion control from Touchwiz.

So, I compiled CM11 for our device.
You can download it here:
http://www.spice.net.au/razrm/CM11/
Seems video playback is broken. Other stuff seems to work OK.
You will need an appropriate gapps - this one seems to work OK
http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23212708291678578
PLEASE NOTE:
The build.prop in this zip is hacked for the International version of the phone - If you are on Verizon you may need to change the settings back.
These are the changes I have made:
Verizon Setting / International GSM setting
telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice=1 / telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice=0
ro.telephony.default_network=10 / ro.telephony.default_network=3
ro.telephony.gsm-routes-us-smsc=1 / ro.telephony.gsm-routes-us-smsc=0
telephony.rilV7NeedCDMALTEPhone=true / telephony.rilV7NeedCDMALTEPhone=false
ro.cdma.subscribe_on_ruim_ready=true / ro.cdma.subscribe_on_ruim_ready=false
Enjoy!
UPDATE: New build available for download. This has also been modified for the International GSM model.
26/11 - LATEST UPDATE INCLUDES 192Mhz MIN CPU SPEED AND SOME UNDER-VOLTING.

It is completely stock.
Basically, I checked out the source tree from the CM git and then built it. No changes to the code at all.
Tried to flash it, but end up failed while flashing on TWRP. Going try redownload it again and see.

I added the md5sums of the zips to the first post.
Cheers
I'm guessing the video issue is contained to CM releases? (GZR release of unofficial CM11 is also having video issues)
Seems Pure AOSP 4.4 has working video. (Though Camera is only working on 11/08 build of that. Later builds have broken camera)

Something to do with buffers.....
E/OMX-VDEC-1080P( 8647): Insufficient sized buffer given for playback, expected 565248, got 1
E/OMXNodeInstance( 8647): OMX_UseBuffer failed with error -2147479547 (0x80001005)
E/OMXCodec( 8647): [OMX.qcom.video.decoder.avc] registering GraphicBuffer with OMX IL component failed: -2147483648
I have not invested a great deal of time into it yet.
Cheers

Any chance this could be ported to the XT875 (Droid Bionic)? Hasn't it been done before?
Got it working and now running fine with Kit Kat. Is there any kernel will suit it well? I'm seeing a lagging. Wanted to make sure before I put in argggghhhh kernel in it. Haha.

It`s lagging on 4.4 launcher! Just install Apex or Nova!

apex or nova launcher doesn't seem to help, it's still laggy.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=47430771 build here coupled with killjoy tweaks doesn't seem to have any lag with stock launcher. Plus has super good battery life.

Has anyone tried Google Wallet Tap & Pay on Kit Kat yet? Theoretically it should work now, but I'm holding off trying it out for a more stable CM11

I have everything set up and ready to use, but couldn't find a store where I can tap on. NFC seem to work great.
