Hi I have a LG l3 and galaxy gio phones both official 2.3.6 I installed cm9 on both phones every thing is the same but the camera of gio is the same in cm9 and gb the same quality ...unlike LG l3 camera quality gb is mush better..so my question is wts the problem ???any one have ideas

hi all.
there are two ics roms for our galaxy mini,but the camera doesn't work in either of them,
in maclaw rom the camera libs are for galaxy gio;
can someone fix the libraries and allow us to use camera also on ics?
is it possible?
in maclaw beta7 also include libs for mini,fit..not only gio

maclaw said camera prob on mini bcauze code or smethng similar..i dont remember.
i hve try put libs from gb to cm9..its also not working..easy way just wait maclaw fix that..
Camera issue is hard to solve, because it's need a libraries from ARM (or Qualcom), if you want they release libraries soon, read this thread and sign in the petition

But some apps doesn't work on ics - navi apps ( without google ) I checked on sgs II

heard that no more ics for OB....!! is it? fed up with speculations....want to use ics badly....cant resist the fellow phones showing their ics..not yet rooted...dont know what to do....?
I think it all depends on price
OB is good phone with good price
If you want ics now, you can buy another phone but for high price

Go to App Drawer > Theme Chooser. Apply to ICS Theme
As you know, the result is great. but it's not really ICS

In lastest Android Versions (like JB), there are some glitches, usually from the camera. One of the most common is the HD video recording.
So don't worry, and check again if the HD recording is enabled in the rom you are flashing.
If you want a rom with HD recording, search for a ICS or GB one.

Depends on the kernel. @ OP Do yo mean 720P recording? It should be working in most of the ROMS and kernels. Flash K^kernel 370 mb RAM for example.. That kernel has 720P working
I mean yeah HD 720p is working in camera settings and stuff but it's not smooth.
It's like 20fps except 30fps or something like that.

I don't know pal,
My SGS+ is running with cm 10.1 R5 and lattest K^Kernel 1.8 360 mb exuv and the HD video recording works wery well and smooth, try this combination if you want for test
Maybe your kernel made this confusion, I repeat it "maybe" I'm not sure it's the kernel

As i saw there are only 2 Kernels for 4.2.2.
I dont know what else can i try. Maybe changing ROM to ICS ? or 4.1.2 ? I dont know.
Can somebody help me ? I mean combination that work for you guys. I want JB look , good performance and HD Recording :/

Before I was using Gingerbread+ rom, and it was so good for me, less battery drain, good 3D graphics, smooth and fast. When installing it choose automatic install and everything will be allright and good

I recomended to you this rom, because it was perfect for me, and i didn't change it with another GB rom, If you want give it a try for a couple of days and decide if it good enought for you too

It looks like lightning problem because when i record outside it gets HD smoothness but it stutters when i try to record it :C
I tried JB Roms & K Kernel and even Castagnit Kernel and no luck :C

after trying all roms i found that i prefer stock 2.3.6 over cm9 that is cuz
1)better camera
2)no phone bugs.... like no loud speaker

Hi there, this is a desperate topic. Last night (and until now) I've been looking for a decent and smooth JB ROM for my samsung galaxy ace gt-s5830 and I couldnt find anything.
does anyone found any stable JB ROM for this device?

First of all, this is the wrong section. Should've asked in general. Anyway, no there are no smooth JB Roms for Ace since it is getting old and the CPU and RAM cannot handle JB. You can get some decent ROMs at adroidarmv6 or you can try Mardon's modded ones. Honestly, I recommend either stock, CM7 or a decent CM9 (the one from Rhievaldo is the smoothest).
The Ace's CPU is aging, CM7 should be more stable and faster than JB.
But if you _really_ want JB then just go with plain old CM
