Phone Bricked AT&T Moto X 4.4 Update - Moto X Q&A

Ok, so I was updating to KitKat last night, and at about 60% through the installation, an error message appeared and now my phone will not make it past the moto boot logo on startup. If i try to initiate recovery in fastboot, I get the message "Failed to hab check for recovery: 0x56 Boot up failed". Anybody have any idea on what I can do to fix this? Thanks in advance.

download the fxz for att and install it through fastboot/rsdlite. your choice. you will lose your data. if you want to keep all of your data, you will need to know how to do some other things that will take longer to explain or test. Since idk what part failed during install it will be trying various things until something works.

[Q] Phone was in bootloop (red logo), now boots to fastboot, flashing fails

Hi
I am new to this forum, I received the phone from a family member asking if I could fix it. When receiving it, it was in bootloop on red logo. I wonder if there is some way to fix it. What I did first was to flash it using RSD however it stuck at step 4 (rebooting).
I think it is important to note that all the fastboot options freeze when selected. (Except BP tools, but that only gives adb errors). I managed to continue past flash step 4 by rebooting the phone myself (using power + volume down) but when it gets to step 8 it fails, with error
E: Failed to erase partition system.
Since I was new I also tried the medfield unbrick (which completed succesfully) but that did not help the problem.
Anyone have a clue on how to fix this??
Hi, I have the same problem. I got it when launched on OTA update 4.4.2. I have no idea what to do now.

Help me pls, secure boot mode on lg g3

Hey! I've tried installing cyanogenmod on my LG G3 (d855) for like 3 hours now, and I can't get it working.
I have tried flashing TWRP with Flashify but I don't know if I've succeeded because when I try to reboot into recovery, it just tells me that there's some kind of error and something about a "secure boot error".
The phone is successfully rooted and is running 5.0.0 Lollipop, I can still boot it and all.
I hoped someone on here could help, please?

HTC One m7wls Unknown boot up Issue

I have an HTC One m7 sprint and recently I encountered something usual in the sense that, my battery run out and I placed it on charge while the phone is off. After awhile I try to boot up the device but it takes forever to boot up. I have installed a cm-13 rom on the device which was very stable. I have twrp 3.1.1 installed on the device. my device is S-OFF and bootloader unlocked. For 3 days now I haven't been able to boot up the device to ROM because its always stuck at the cyanogen logo. Whenever i try to boot to recovery, the twrp logo comes and it takes forever to boot into the recovery menu. To be precise, 10-20 mins to boot to recovery menu. Now what buffles me the most is that, I can't format my data because anytime it starts to formatting process starts I get 2 kinds of red line errors:
E: failed to write /dev/block/mmcblk0p19: I/O error
Error opening: '/cache/recovery/ .version' (Read-only file system)
I haven't been able to Restore my backup because of the error above,
I haven't able to copy files to the internal storage
I haven't been able do anythings significant at the recovery
I can't install new ROM
here are some steps I have taken so far to help fix the problem but to no avail
I have flashed older versions of the custom recovery through fastboot but whenever I boot to the Recovery I still see the twrp 3.1.1 i flashed before the problem happened. Even though my command.exe tells me that the flash was successful but it doesn't overwrite the twrp 3.1.1
I have fastboot erased cache but nothing happened
I have tried to return the device to stock by RUU method but whenever I fastboot oem rebootRUU, the device powers off, reboots to white HTC logo attempts to boot phone instead of going into RUU mode.
I have a hunch that somewhat my internal storage is corrupted and is probably causing these problems but I don't know how to go round it.
Any help will be gratefully appreciated.

Stuck at unlocked bootloader warning screen (Samsung m21)

My phone suddenly stopped working and after a reboot i got stuck at the unlocked bootloader screen . It says to press the power button to boot but nothing happens. So I flashed stock firmware using odin v3 but the same issue. I tried fixing the partitions in twrp recovery but it gives me an error saying "Failed to mount metadata - invalid argument".
So lastly I used Odin PIT flash with rewrite partition but it still stuck at warning screen I only able to access Recovery mode and download mode .
Does anyone have a solution ? Please help
