Unlock Code for At&t - Moto X Q&A

Has anyone been able to successfully unlock the sim for this phone, I'd like to use it on T-Mobile and At&t wont help me out. I have read into several unlocking sites but wanted to know if there were any that can confirm that WILL unlock the Moto X.

unlocking without a SIM card?!

Hi. I am wondering if anyone can tell me the procedure to unlock my AT&T Tilt without another carrier's SIM card?
I have the unlock code from AT&T, but I do not know the key strokes to bring up the dialogue to enter the unlock code. I do NOT have access to another carrier's SIM card. Can anyone help?
Thanks!

Why are you wanting to unlock it without the need for another sim? You can use the phone without a sim card in there so it's not like you have that restriction. Just keep the code on the phone and when you have the need, it's there for you whereever you are.
Or if you're wanting to unlock it to sell it, just include the code with the sale. The buyer is going to know it's an att phone, and as long as you have the code to unlock it, there's no difference. If anything, it makes the phone more "new" than if you turned it on the unlock it and then sell. So depending on how you pitch it, it could be an additional good trait
Borrow the other carrier SIM from your friends or go to T-mobile store to do the test.
I had old line with T-mobile. Did the unlock in 5 sec. After putting the T-mobile SIM it ask for SIM lock code...
you can goto a cell phone store. usually the people would let you use a foreign sim.
another idea would be to buy a tmobile to go phones. not that expensive. and you'd get a backup phone as well depending on which you choose. for example, the nokias are real easy to unlock for free
Thanks alot for your replies.
Actually, yes, it is to sell the phone. So, I assume what I will do is just include the unlock code with the sale. It would be nice if the phone actually had a series of keystrokes that you can enter to in order to bring up the unlock dialogue.

I know I know anothe question about Unlocking Tmobile Wing

I searched and I couldn't find the answer to the following:
I want to unlock my wing. I called Tmobile and got the unlock code from them. But now that I have to code how do I unlock my phone? I don't have access to a foreign sim card. Everyone I know has Tmobile. If someone could help me out with step by step instructions that would be great. Or just let me know that there is no way I can unlock the wing with the unlock code provided by Tmobile without a foreign sim card.
P.S. I don't want to it through a third party service. I have the code I just want to know the proper way to use the code. Thanks.

I think he was meaning SIM unlock, not a device unlock program
Not sure if.
This is what you mean but here goes.
I have a T-Mobile Wing as well. I called T-Mobile and got an Unlock code from them as well. There were instructions on entering the code directly into the phone (Via a Keypad). that's all you need to do.
Now I can place whatever sim card in my phone and use as normal. this includes but is not limited to domestic sims. I frequently place an AT&T sim in my phone to check that a sim is in working order when at work (testing blackberry phones *frown*).

[q] after i network unlocked. It locked back up. Help.

I purchased a used Incredible S and when I purchased an unlock code online I was able to network unlock the phone. 2 days later it failed to read my simcard anymore, did it lock back up? It doesn't give me the option to enter an unlock pin like the first time I unlocked it, so how can I check if the phone is still unlocked? or how can I input my unlock code again if it needs it again? HELP
Also, the sim card still works fine in my old phone so it isnt the sim.

How To SIM Unlock AT&T note 3 On 4.4.2

How to SIM Unlock AT&T note 3 on 4.4.2
Anyone know how to get this done? I've tried many different methods to no avail. I have the unlock code but can't do anything with it. I have seen that some say it's not possible for 4.4.2 and I need to downgrade [though others say downgrading isn't possible] Can someone help please?

Hi,
Is your phone asking for an unlock code when you're inserting a SIM from an unsupported network?

no it is not. When it turns on it says metropcs in the top right corner for a moment but then takes me to the select a network menu. I try using Tmobile [it shows ATT, Verizon, Tmobile. ] since I believe metro merged with Tmobile I tried picking that network but it won't register.

AT&T Pixel 4XL bootloader unlock

I am wondering if you can unlock the bootloader of 4XL? I read something about it needing the sim unlocked to be able to unlock the bootloader, is this correct? Can just i request just request the sim unlock from ATT since it's a dual sim or does the device have to be fully paid off.
i just went through this about 3 weeks ago. ATT won't budge unless you have the device paid off. 3rd party unlocking firms do not seem to access the codes either. I've been stuck, as my work has authorized me to use Google FI so I don't have to carry 2 phones. I'm waiting for a breakthrough now.

Once your device has been active for 60 or 90days(2 or 3 payments, can't remember exactly) you can request a Sim unlock and that will enable oem unlock option.
You should be able to submit your request through the at&t unlock request page.
