[rom] mokee os - u9000 2.37d sakura

Based on Mokee.OS U8800pro 2.37D Sakura - Credit to the original developer
Enhancement from MoKee.OS.U8800pro_2.37c_ local optimized version - speed experience effect.
Derived from the CM7.2 development from the MoKee.OS
Performance of the CM, with MIUI humane settings.
DEODEX ROM.
April 20 update:
Improve the game performance, stability, support;
(Play any large, small game, including images, sound and so there will be no problem - need test, i am not a gameholic)
Improve the built-in card read / write speeds;
Improve and optimize the speed of the online video and local video;
ICS4.0 camera;
Mobile heating problem is also smaller than the previous two editions (sakura edition, not mine);
Energy saving is needless to say, try the first two editions and you will know, they are better than the official .... (do i need to port the previous sakura versions too?)
Update some software to the latest version;
Dual theme settings;
GO Desktop + GO SMS setting
MoKee.OS unique settings (Google services shut off, need to open)
A strong performance of CM7.2 with MoKee.OS exclusive design, added with Sakura optimization, nearly perfect!
Download rom here: http://www.4shared.com/zip/jvRGYZ3N/MoKeeOSU9000_237D.html
Steps of installation:
1. Full wipe (except for those who r coming frm previous mokee os version - just wipe dalvik & cache)
2. Flash rom
3. Flash mock kernel (no need if u come frm rom which is already using mock kernel)
4. Reboot system
5. Enjoyyy
Let wait for whyzee to fix the headset, or maybe can try the previous patch bcoz this rom also has been developed base on the official one.
Credits to the original dev (which i dont know who), mokee team (mfunz.com), & llock & mantera for mock kernel.
Credit also to whyzee for fixing headset in all my roms, & for being there to help my rom users as a helpdesk.
Also special thanks to the unforgotten... edowar in memory!

This is link in of Mokee V0.3 Beta (the latest)
http://www.4shared.com/zip/ZGYVPCz2/update-mokeeos-v03120318alpha-.html
(Flash with mOCk kernel)
All working great including native wifi tether & headset by replacing the original service.odex with below attached file:
Note: To make the headset work you have to copy the attached services.odex to /system/framework with perms rw-r--r--.
http://www.4shared.com/file/BHnDF0ZZ/services.html
-------------------------------------------
i decided to release this alpha 2 although camera still partially work. for this time being, u can use hdr camera plus (included) to shoot, although the screen is black u can still capture photo.
what working great in this version:
- call & messaging
- data (2g, 3g, 3.5g)
- wifi
- bluetooth
- flashlight led (similar with torch in miui but it has dual torch, one using camera, one using front led screen - to make this work i hijack ledlights.mx.so frm meizu mx rom & change it to ledlights.fb0.so)
this rom come with low sound by default but its not a bug, to change it u need to go to sound setting & increase it. for call volume u need to set it with x5 setting app included in this rom, maximum call volume is 200, but just make it around 170-180. x5 setting also allow u to overclock yr cpu & choose yr governor.
steps for rom installation:
1. do a full wipe
2. flash the rom (download here: http://www.4shared.com/zip/H9UEUvuk/mokee_32_qzsu_2.html)
3. flash kernel patch (download here: http://www.4shared.com/zip/8REnd06V/UC-Kernel_v5_MIUI_11111_signed.html)
4. flash google patch, similar with gapps (download here: http://www.4shared.com/zip/zTcyKVYN/GSM.html)
5. reboot system
remember to follow all steps, do not reboot b4 u flash everything! and be patient with cute boot animation then ENJOYYY MOKEE
credits: edowar for everything, napstar for kernel patch, geno for original mokee, meizu mx for ledlights.fb0.so... and all u guys here who encourage me to turn back to .32 kernel to play with roms
p.s: i cannot check hows mokee power boot menu look like, bcoz my power button is jammed
---------------
Do u guys know this rom? This is from china & u can check details/screenshots here:
http://www.fengbao.com/huawei_rom/huawei_u8800_rom/rom_123917.html
I managed to port this rom to our device & proud to say this is the very 1st time i successfully ported rom frm huawei ideos x5 u8800 WITH RADIO SIGNAL! yes... ril is functioning, this is y i put the dev stage as alpha. Bluetooth also working, i'll fix wifi later.
To test this rom, pls download these files:
ROM: http://www.4shared.com/zip/GlP0a1e_/mokee_32_qzsu.html
KERNEL PATCH: http://www.4shared.com/zip/8REnd06V/UC-Kernel_v5_MIUI_11111_signed.html
Make a full wipe first, flash the rom, flash the kernel patch then reboot the system, see the beauty of china androidians...
Credit to the original dev as stated in the link above (in chinese), particularly geno...
Credit also to napstar for his miracle uc kernel, dont know y his miui 1.11.11 kernel patch can easily boot china android roms, especially frm u8800.
Tq to edowar too for communicating with me a lot.
p/s: i managed to boot up many u8800 roms to our device b4, last one was dianxin os (kiv first), b4 that oxygen rom, 2 oxygen modified roms, zm 4.9 rom (cm based), vvv 4.7 rom, u8800 mh 4.0 rom (ics imitated) & a few versions of miui... all fails to get signal until this mockee os try, i got my luck... tru a lot of research, discussion, reading, try & error
p/s 2: now i get a problem with my phone, my power button is jammed. if u guys think i need spare hp for my porting works pls donate, bcoz i dont want to port miui & cm roms, i want to bring something different! somemore, we already hv numbers of miui & cm devs here

[HOW TO] Flash RAZRHD ROMs + WIFI Fix + Updated CM10 (Safestrap)

Click Thanks if you're a noob and benefited from this!! This guide is intended for Safestrap only.
WIFI Fix for all RAZRHD roms:
Flash after installing any rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1780872&d=1362475787
Epinter CM10 Boot Fix - this is the most updated CM10 you can get! Works on JB and ICS.
1. Flash after installing ROM (link below) to fix the Encryption Unsuccessful error. This was a hard one to figure out!!
2. You must also install the WIFI fix.
Manually setting Network to GSM/3G/LTE/ETC
Dial *#*#4636#*#* -> Phone Info -> Preferred Network
LTE for AT&T Users
1. Edit /system/build.prop so the default network = 9
2. Factory Reset to fix any errors/FCs.
3. Create a new APN for LTE
Data Signal Icon Fix
Add to build.prop: ro.telephony.ril.v3=signalstrength

That's not possible with a single ZIP flash. Each ROM has its own unique build.prop, so you'd need a different ZIP fix for each ROM.
Camera works on all non-CM10 ROMs.
I was thinking about doing flashable zips to fix WiFi and LTE for each of the XT926 roms but I'm pretty sure that AT&T/Straightalk users still aren't getting proper data with the tweaks I've already done. I don't have an Atrix HD to test any maybe fixes that of thought of, so it'll be awhile before that happens.
Updated so that we can finally enjoy an updated CM10 from Epinter without the Encryption Unsuccessful error. Hopefully others can learn from this to use on their ports. The /bin files are necessary due to the init modifications required by safestrap.
Also included some information to help newbs learn to fish. Now if only they could search
Thanks you very much. Super helpful thread, I hated that encryption error lol. Everything seems to be working perfectly now besides the camera obviously.

[ROM][Unofficial][LTE][4.4.4] CyanogenMod 11.0 Nightlies for the Nexus 4 (mako)

DISCONTINUED
This thread will serve as a home to my UNOFFICIAL CM11.0 LTE enabled nightly builds for Nexus 4 (mako). These builds may come in nightly or less frequent flavors depending on demand or my laziness. My hope is that someone besides myself might find these useful if: a) They are using LTE and/or b) Official builds fail.
The only difference between these builds and the Official CM10.1 Nightlies is that my builds feature the cherry picks listed below.
Note:
You should wipe data/system/factory reset before flashing this ROM.
Google Apps are optional. If desired, download the latest Gapps package from the Resources section and flash immediately after ROM (fresh install only). If you are flashing over a previous build and had Official Gapps already installed, they will be preserved and do not need to be flashed again.
For cm-11.0 hybrid radios required (see Resources).
Nexus 4 Includes Support for LTE on Band 4 (AWS) only.
T-Mobile US users: you may also need to select the T-Mobile US LTE APN if it doesn't do so for you (if LTE is not available on first boot), otherwise it selects the non LTE APN which will prevent you from accessing data on the LTE network.
If you have minded the notes above, your Nexus 4 should now be LTE ready.
All builds are synced compiled fresh (make clobber) on a nightly basis.
Stable releases, which are not nightlies, added to each Downloads section. These don't have newest features that are included in nightlies (Ex. Privacy Guard).
CWM Recovery recommended; TWRP is also fine and is the only recovery capable of nandroid backups if you use device encryption.

Yeah I can add those no problem. I initially was adding those when Tmo turned on their LTE but after a while I stopped and never noticed any difference. I figured they were unnecessary. That being said, I see no harm in adding them back in there. They'll be in for the next builds.
Anything else needed to enable LTE besides .33 radio and your build? I'm assuming your build basically add the lines from hippos guide.
And exactly what kernel is being used here? Don't u need Franco kernel to even run 4g/lte?

Stock CM kernel. No you don't need a custom kernel for LTE... unless someone figured out how to make it work with the .48 baseband but I doubt it. The test build is also stock CM kernel with a small modification for color calibration and makoparts added as mentioned in the cherry-picks section of post #2.
I would recommend against using a custom kernel on the test builds since it would defeat their purpose; they were built with cherry-picks for those who want to stay on the stock kernel but want more customization options.

You must not be getting LTE then because it will show a 4g icon. Do a speed test (from the app) and go into the details, it will say cell or lte. Also, if you go to Settings > About phone > Status, mobile network type should say LTE:xx (mine says LTE:13 here at work). Try forcing LTE thru the dialer with code *#*#4636#*#* > Phone info > LTE only. This should let you know if it's in your area at least.

I will start adding features people ask for after the ROM is STABLE. I don't want a lot of touchwiz crap messing this up,
But, I will try to bring over SBeam and Airview . The reason I chose those is stock android accepts these features and I don't see
them as "touchwiz" property.
Feel Free to use this as a base ROM , just please give credits .
CHANGE LOG NEAR BOTTOM. AS ALWAYS HAVE FUN AND CONTRIBUTE . If updating you may have to wipe cache and dalvik.
BEST RESULTS SEEMS TO BE FROM TOUCHWIZ. Not necessary but just throwing it out there.

Updated kernel ( Thanks Ktoonz)
Think I fixed 4G ( without apn restore )
made 3G more stable ( no more having to do Airplane mode and having it say Empty in status and should have stronger 3G service)
Added Samsung Camera ( all Features )
Fixed missing libs and binaries.
Added correct apn throughout apps and apn_editing
a few attempts to correct mms ( almost there ) .
wallet is still broke ( I believe know why though ). key and permissions issue

I'll give this a shot after I finish with the version Dubbsy over in the verizon forum did for me.
to fix the roaming indicator, you need to import cm eri.xml file in the overlay.
I'm not getting any data at all. Are you on MDL? I tried to connect to Wi-Fi and disconnect and no luck.

If you go to mobile networks does it keep reverting back to wcdma preferred? Try that app I mentioned a few posts back, that's what the Verizon thread says to use and it worked for me

When I download the LTE OnOff app and go to "Set preferred network type:" no matter which option I select, the box just says "Unknown" when I select it.
