Hey Everyone, I'm not really sure if selling stuff here on XDA is ok, unfortunately there is not a accessories section for the Gear so I listed this thread here, If this is not allowed, just delete the thread, no big deal.
But I'm about to throw these up on eBay and figured I'd give XDA the first go at em'.
These are custom designed and cut by me. The first day I got the Gear I probably put about a dozen scuffs in the stainless steel speaker clasp, I'm a graphic Designer so all day the clasp slides and bangs off my desk at work, and it killed me to think after just a few days my watch is going to look old and used. Well knowing I was going to exchange my watch for a new one (battery problem) I figured with a fresh watch I want to keep it looking brand new.
So with the OCD I have about my tech devices, I spent a few hours developing these Speaker Protectors, and they work amazing! They are made from the highest quality vinyl available, very durable, self adhesive backing, custom cut specifically for the speaker on the Galaxy Gear SmartWatch and extremely easy to apply!
I put my first one on about 3 weeks ago, still in perfect shape and still holding strong. Underneath my speaker clasp is perfect, and will stay that way!
The vinyl is a chrome color (can do other colors as well. IE Dark Green, Purple, Gray with more options if these catch on) Which blends perfect color-wise (Vinyl is more of a matte. See Pictures Below).

These are a must for any Gear owner who want to keep their speaker clasp from dings, scratches and scuffs.
I also designed custom fitted screen protectors, once applied you cant tell its even there. I'm not sure what kind of glass the Gear has on it, and if it can be scratched or not, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
I'm selling the speaker protectors 5 for $5 USD Shipped (Around $8 USD on eBay). Plus 5 screen protectors. You really shouldn't need more than 1 of either for the life of your Gear. But this ensures you ensures you always have protection for the sensitive parts of your Galaxy Gear.
If you would like to pick some up, and support further development on device accessories from me. PM and I'll give you my info.
Again hopefully I'm not breaking a rule here by posting this, I am an active member of XDA and figured I'd give people a chance to pick something up for their Gear here first before its on eBay.

Thanks man, I made this out of necessity one day just to have for myself because the scratches on my clasp killed me. I looked online to see if this had been done, and found nothing, so I did a few designs and finally got it perfect.
Then figured I'd throw it out to the public, lol I can't be only person with device OCD.

I believe this is breaking XDA rules..
In saying that tho ! Great job.. They look fairly good.

They look nice, good job. I used this http://www.skinomi.com/sagage.html same problem, work on a desk all day and constantly knocking it around.
My Gear is still like new.

lol Oops, well like I said, no biggie to delete the thread, These are up on eBay now if anyone is interested but not for the XDA price.
After materials, time and shipping, I'm basically making nothing, I'm no developer, so this is my attempt to give back to XDA for l the help over the years.
But until they delete the thread anyone who wants some, feel free to hit me up on PM and we'll get you squared away.

AWESOME! Did not see these when I searched, and this is the mark Samsung missed with the watch, don't get me wrong I love the look of my gear, but instead of the chrome bezel, a full black (maybe a gunmetal black or matte rubber black instead of the chrome) watch would have been gorgeous!
Good find!
The decal for the top of the watch is awesome and is just what I was looking for when I got the watch, basically full body armor, I might see if I can develop something like this in different colors and offer it cheaper. lol now that I've seen it done, its back to the drawing board! lol

For $20 a pop, I'd be scared too! But if you can get it right, the results look awesome!
If anyone see's anymore products like this or something everyone else might have missed, PLEASE throw a link up here on this thread, I'd like to see what accessories are available for the Gear, and maybe for a few I can duplicate them and offer them cheaper, if not I'd like to purchase them myself!
AND THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS PURCHASED THESE PROTECTORS SO FAR! ITS REALLY APPRECIATED, I DIDNT MAKE THESE TO SELL I MADE THEM FOR MY OWN USE, GLAD OTHER PEOPLE SEE THE NEED FOR THEM ALSO AND I CAN HELP OUT!
THESE ARE NOW AVAILABLE ON EBAY, BUT FOR A HIGHER COST! IF YOU STILL WANT THE XDA PRICE, JUST CONTACT ME THROUGH PM HERE ON XDA AND I'LL GET YOU TAKEN CARE OF!
IT IS THANKSGIVING TIME HERE IN AMERICA, AND THE POST OFFICE IS NOT RUNNING! ORDERS WILL BE PROCESSED AND SHIPPED ASAP WHEN THE POSTAL SERVICE IS BACK UP AND I HAVE EVERY ORDER CURRENT! THE DEMAND IS WAY MORE THAN I EXPECTED! AND THATS PRETTY COOL

It has limited instructions in the box. Like cleaning the device before applying etc. It is actually very easy its not like a film type screen protector and you get one shot at it. You can carefully peel it back and re-apply if you haven't lined it up correctly, this is for the body protection only. The screen protector is different being a wet type, It did say about spraying the screen with the supllied spray I only sprayed the screen protector only, this worked fine for me, you can move the protector around to the perfect position and use the squeezi to push out excess fluid. The screen protector is perfect you can't even notice you have one fitted. Hope this helps.

[Review] TreeGloo Case for Nexus 7

EDIT: 9/20/12 Taken from the other Treegloo thread:
Just to report back. I think I was one of the few that had received their cases the first week of release. In any case, I have dropped my N7 twice. Once on the curb getting my 4 yr old out of my truck and yesterday in the garage from a 3-4 foot drop straight to the garage floor with the flat back hitting the ground
I picked it up, and nothing was damaged (thank the heavens!) and I just left it for my wife to use and I went to work. When I got home from work, I opened up the tablet and found that the tablet was not seating correctly on the case. I thought to myself, "crap something is wrong" so I took the N7 out of the case. What I found was that the back case had popped open when it hit the floor in the garage. I initially didn't catch it, but all I did was pop the case back into the bezel. (whew)
So I have to say it was a good day for the Treegloo case lol. I don't think it would have of survived a fall like that without certain issues if I was using a leather case. But that's just speculation .
EDIT 8/10/12: Update on my case. While talking with treegloo.com through G+, it was pointed out to me that I have a cloth lining not a paper lining, which is the default. The reason is because not many people order the green liner. I am weird like that lol. So kudos to treegloo once again for a FREEBIE!
Still loving the case. I can carry my N7 with the utmost confidence anywhere I go!
The issue well not issue, more of a FYI to treegloo, that I have an imprint of the inner lining on the lower left corner of the screen protector. This doesn't affect the tablet at all, just a FYI if someone does have a screen protector on and if you see something like this.

Ok here is my quick take of the Treegloo cases which you can make your own at https://www.treegloo.com/
As you can see the case is wrapped with care and with a quick personal thank you, which is nice because you really do not see this type of service. I chalk it up to being in Texas, but I guess I am bias because I am in TX (grew up in NY) and with all the 'southern' hospitality it didn't totally surprise me .
And before I go into some of the aspects of the case, I have to say they have been above and beyond the scope of service in terms of this case. I mean their bread and butter is most likely the ipad lines, but at this point they catered to many of our needs, which is awesome in my book, and they are in the US to boot. And in addition, I know of another member who chose the kinetic latch systems as well that received a Fedex'd replacement latch in case the one installed was the incorrect one. I replaced it on mine and kept the old one in case I needed another as a backup. :good:
Crack open the plastic packing and you can still smell the dyes and glue from the case
Ok before I stuck my precious N7 into the case, I took a look around and looked at the suede lining (which is an 'extra' option I paid for) that would protect this beast. I looked at the Kinetic Latch system (also extra) to see how it worked. It's a very novel idea. Having multiple angles on this thing. It's really well thought out!
Now putting in the N7 is very interesting. You have instructions enclosed to push in from top first and then follow up with the bottom of the device and push down firmly. After that I can confidently attest that this tablet will not be coming out easily. So I was curious, how hard is it to take out? Apparently not too difficult at all. It's like taking off a TPU case off a phone. No biggie.
All the buttons are easily accessible. People with bigger fingers may find it a bit difficult to access, but users may vary here. :silly:
Now looking at the bottom part of the device you see the cut out of the frame and the reason's are pretty self explanatory. The bottom port portion is quite large because of the speaker and of course the headphone port is carved out perfectly as well...well almost perfectly. The only headphones plug that did not work well was my Shure SE215. The reason is because the 3.5mm plug has a big head to that and any twist will disconnect the SE215's. But all the other headsets like the earphones from a Beats Rezound and also my Sol Republic Track HD headphones work here as well. Again users may vary on this one.
The smart cover works as advertised. No worry about that there. And folding the cover back does NOT affect the screen at all. I tried .
Any negatives? Kinda. Other than the stated access to the buttons if you have bigger fingers may drive you nuts. Also the case yet small and like a small paperback, does take away from the sexy thin Nexus 7 original nekkid form. Too bad there's no bikini case out there :silly:.
So do I recommend this case? A resounding yes! If you are looking for a case that will protect your precious N7 this will do it's job well. The wood is buttery smooth and the case holds the baby in nice and tight. The wood is smooth as butter and the materials used is perfect in my opinion.
And on an off note, I was asked recently if the case affected my wifi. And I have not noticed anything degradation in signal. All my pages and play store pull up as quick as without the case.
Anyway, here are the pics. Pretty much an unboxing photo journal lol. Questions?? Sure whatcha got?
This is not my pic, this is from treegloo. I didn't take a pic of this angle, so I figured I take it from the site. Reason? Because I forgot
What about the two mics? Are there holes cut out for them? If not, do they still work fine?
I have been debating on one of these for a while now. After reading about several bad experiences I thought I'd forego this type of case, but I can't find anything I really like. Maybe I will take a leap and try it out. Thanks for the review.

No I meant that because if there is not lining, there will be no obvious cut outs. There would be rubber bumpers at the corners from what I understand.

I highly suggest emailing them or post on their G+ page. My last email was quickly responded by Jen within the hour on a business day.:good:
And as for the 'bashing' thread. I posted there as well and posted my opinion on the guy. I don't think he responded. . I'll let that thread die. It was a complaint on his personal experience, where I do not fault him, but a newbie badmouthing a company just on his/her/it experience rubs me the wrong way. I mean there was no defending treegloo in his/her/its eyes.

Ah ok. Cool. For the "basic" cases like mine with a few add-ons, you should be fine. But if you had added ALL of that fun stuff, that's where they have to do some quality control stuff because that is indeed an "one-off", unique case :cyclops:.
The case looks really good. I ended up with a Portenzo case because it was a little cheaper and had more appealing colors but I really prefer teh TreeGloo's wood frame. I'm glad that you are happy with your case!

The inside has rubber piece that protect your phone from direct aluminum contact. The rubber acts as a impact absorbing material. It keeps the phone in place and prevents it from sliding around once the case is tightened down.
The case is closed by 2 screws with the hex key included.. The charging port opening is always large enough to fit the OEM cable. The large white and black ones. I tested this with both. Sweet Armor cases do not allow OEM USB cables. The case has a great feel while maintaining it's elegance. The case does not add much bulk to the phone. There is also a small cut out for a lanyard for those are you that prefer that method of carry. There is also plenty of room for the S-Pen to be slid out. There are also cut outs for the microphone and noise cancellation mic at the top.
The opening for the headphones fit the OEM headset easily and still have room to spare.
The bumper of the Note II Draco keep the camera high enough to not come in direct contact when the phone is laid on a flat surface. This is a huge relief. Another feature of the Draco case is the power and volume toggle switch is also made of aluminum. Attention to detail was not spared with this project.
Does this case affect the cell phone signal / reception? Not really. Visually I might see it drop a bar and bounce back. I'm not in a very good coverage area and the function, data and sound quality of my calls have not been affected. At home and work I have the same number of bars. Signal strength has been the exact same in both areas.
MSRP: $89.99 and is available at DRACOdesign in 3 different colors.
Conclusion: The case is minimalistic and looks sharp. It feels great in my hand and gives it a better grip than a naked phone.

I presume that with this case on, the battery cover is not accessible for removal? Not ideal for those who tend to swap batteries, Micro SD cards and such; as you'd have to dismantle/assemble every time.
Shame that the Sweet Armor cases don't provide adequate sized port opening for OEM USB, as its case design does allow access to the battery cover.

I just did a review. Nothing asked you to go into a thread and give your 2 cents. If it's out of your price range, ok then. I never asked you to buy it. I obtained a case and gave my opinion on it. Never asked what you thought of the price, where you thought it was made or how much of a discount was needed for you to consider buying it. It's almost like going into a ROM thread and telling the person that put it together that their ROM sucked, it needs more of X, less of Y and needs the X app. Someone did a review on a product I bought. I bought it because it seemed legit. Things didn't work out. I returned it. I didn't go back and bash it or anything. This was even after I bought the product. I just returned it and bowed out quietly. Just because you don't have it and don't want to buy it, doesn't mean it won't work for someone else. Maybe they will enjoy it. Sometimes some people just want the real thing. I did a Draco case review in the past with a good turn out. Many people bought the case using the 30% discount.

That's correct. May not be ideal for people who swap batteries and cards. But it's simple. It goes on and doesn't come of. It works great for me because I use one battery throughout the day.
Thanks a lot for the review, chrischoi.
I bought a Blue Thunder bumper two days ago and cant wait for it to arrive.
I was a little bit worried about the cell signal strength.

That's a pretty douchey response bro. If u don't want people's opinions I suggest u post ur crap on a piece of paper in ur crapper instead of a "PUBLIC" forum.
But that's just my review.

I bought it because it seemed legit. Things didn't work out. I returned it. I didn't go back and bash it or anything. This was even after I bought the product. this is NOT like saying a rom sucks...a rom is someones PERSONAL compilation, made from their hard work and effort..
this case was NOT made by YOU, so quit crying about my comments...90 dollars, or even 60 dollars is outrageous for a thin piece of TAIWAN aluminum, and if you dont think so, thats your opinion...MY opinion is this is a rip off, and you can find what probably is the exact same thing on Ebay for 20 bucks or so.

Reception wise, I don't notice a drastic difference. If anything visually it may drop bar, but it will regain it instantly. Seems to behave normally that way without the case depending on where I am.
Nothing on the back. Backs are cheap to replace. I ordered a OEM back with just Samsung on it, so I'm waiting on that.

Seriously? Are we here making statements about my personal life already?
Please, do not turn this thread into what it is not supposed to be.
You know, there is plenty of people in the world who can easily afford buying a Lamborgini.
I cannot imagine myself posting something like that:
$500,000 is a rip-off, never buy it!
Let's purchase a $12,000 Ford Focus.
It will drive you from point A to B too.
I have purchased a couple of aluminum bumpers and a whole bunch of plastic, TPU and leather cases on eBay and was not satisfied with any of them at all.
Of course, Draco bumper may not be worth $90 (actually, I got mine for $75), we will see.
I am tired of less expensive cases that are really not what I like.
It is so subjective, what case is good, what case is bad.

Personal riffs have no place in the forums. You're right about that. However everyone is entitled to his or her opinion as long as its not a personal attack on someone. You posted a review and someone responded. They said they thought the price didnt match the product. If you post a review of something in a public forum then you need to expect people to disagree with you. Its the age old adage....Opinions are like a-holes. Everyones got one.
OK guys, let's just take a deep breath. I hate to get in middle of this, but I kind of understand both sides. Prior to me starting to write my reviews, I made exactly the same post as Wase about another aluminum bumper vendor with a price tag of $100+. That was one side. After I started writing reviews, I discovered another side where I contact vendors directly who I think offer a great product I believe in and want to review and to share it with XDA community. Basically, one side is how to spend my hard earned money wisely, and the other side - I get free samples of products I think great and I want to review them in the best way.
The bottom line, this particular product or something like pricey VITREO is a matter of personal choice and something that's going to be not everyone's cup of tea. But I'm sure every company justifies their pricing in comparison to competition, and they will see how well the product is selling and will offer discounts to "adjust" it Cost of the material plays a role, but no matter how great the vendor thinks their product is - if its not selling they will have to adjust the price. Unless their name is "Mugen" and they so full of themselves thinking their $105 extended battery is better than a same one from Anker for $17
I have sweet armor on my note 2 and it does allow access for the OEM charging/USB cable without a problem.
I agree that it was pointless to post the opinion of the case being a rip off financially.

How does this case affect the GPS?
I've gotten 5 aluminum bumper cases that all affect fix lock and acquisition.
Thank you in advance

I'll test this on the way to work and get right back to you on this. There was a slight delay, but that seemed about normal. I was able to keep it until I got to work. That was just a 10 minute drive.
Yes that cord. The one that came in the box with the phone plugs into the phone just as easy with the Sweet Armor on just as easy as it does without the Sweet Armor.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using xda premium
How would this compare with a sweet armor?
Would you be able to do a side by side comparison/shootout between the two bumpers?
The thing about the sweet armor I like is, specifically, the side buttons.
I'm planning on getting an all black sweet armor, if they ever come back in stock that is, and a glass screen cover.
Is this one really worth the extra money, even considering the inability to remove the back cover?

Skin your Pebble

Found a place with Pebble Skins, ordered one yesterday. Hoping to have it by end of week and will post pics once I have it on.
There are actually a couple of different vendors, here is the one I went with: http://www.slickwraps.com/Pebble-Watch-Wraps-Skins-s/537.htm
Recommended with reservations
UPDATE 7/23: So after working with Pauline at Slickwraps here is the deal. She was great in terms of doing what she could to make sure I was satisfied with the company and their service. I will say they have this part of the operation down once you connect with them. I did have some issues getting connected, but once I did she did an excellent job with follow-up and taking care of things.
After the debacle with the first wrap sent out, she sent me a replacement wrap which camed yesterday. A couple of notes on this. The wrap itself comes with a lot of extra pieces on the paper beyond what is needed for the buttons and Pebble. Confusing at first, but not that big a deal. The video that they provide is an excellent guide and I would also recommend highly watching it a couple of times.
Installing this one went very well, but one thing to be very careful about, the bottom border is slightly wider than the top border of the Pebble, and the Slickwrap does not mark the top or bottom. Maybe an arrow, or T and B on the mount paper would make this more intuitive.
Overall, pretty happy with how it turned out. I think it looks good, and I can see that for the customization of the Pebble it is a great idea. With my different band and face now I know my watch probably looks nothing like what anyone else around me might be wearing.
For the price, a good deal. Just make sure that you take your time, and follow the install directions, and if you are anal about alignment, you will probably find it tedious, but there is a good result in the end.
Good to hear that. Hoping to get my pebble from bestbuy soon.

They also included a gift card for $5 off next purchase in the shipment, which if you count as a discount makes the skin cost about 99 cents.

Thanks, i'm very happy with it! They shipped my wrap with 2 screen protectors. I've had no issues with neither the wrap nor the screen protector. They're both staying put.
Somewhere I saw where someone who had a "skin" on their Pebble pulled it off only to find that the adhesive bonded to the anti-scratch coating on the Pebble's face and started pulling it off. Not sure whether it was on this forum or some other. It made me think twice about putting some skin or guard on the Pebble if it did this to it. It came off in patches and made the watch really ugly unless you scraped the rest of the coating off.
Worried about the finish on my just delivered white Pebble - but not if the protection itself ends up causing more damage!

1). What "debacle"? Did they send you the wrong one or something? I never heard or use SlickWraps, so wants to be sure before ordering...
2). Where did you see the video? I only see, from their website, iPhone installation video.
EXTRA: also, is this a sticker or something that requires water solution like Zagg screen protector?
Can anyone elaborate a bit on the issue described above about glue affecting the protecting layer of the screen? Thanks.

1. The first one apparently was early in their process for making them and there were some quality control issues in the cutting lines and sizing. They have this issue resolved.
2. If you go to http://www.slickwraps.com/Articles.asp?ID=240 and look about the middle of the page there is a video specifically for the Pebble
It is a sticker, so no water needed. Just make sure you really clean your watch first.

Slickwraps for the GWR- First takes
First off, I paid my good money to buy this for review and personal use. I am no way affiliated with Slickwraps, but I do get discounts from time to time, but this was not one of those times lol.
Site: https://slickwraps.com/wood-series-skins-wraps-for-lg-g-watch-r.html
Ok first off, there are NO install instructions. even though they tell you to refer to slickwraps.com/install. But the only wearable install vid is for the Pebble. Not even for the Pebble Steel mind you. But fear not, I have installed it using my infinite patience and know-how and years of experience in applying skins and screen protectors and other junk on our devices.
Amazingly, I didn't mess mine up too bad. I mean I have ordered stuff from Slickwraps many times on different devices, so I expected nice thick skins. I have chosen the one from the Wood Series, the "ebony" version. I wanted it to somewhat match my Maori band with Cocobolo wood buckle that adorns my wrist  . I ordered on late night, 4/6 and just got it delivered to my offcie on 4/10.
Ok back to the install, the packet only comes with the "stop" card and the skin. It is pretty self explanatory on which goes where and the one with the hole is of course for the mic hole on the bottom of the watch. Now this was a bit of a pain to line up. Maybe it's my old eyes, but I had a heck of a time getting it the best so that I can clear the mic hole AND be somewhat in the borders of where the skin rests. There are small cuts to fold or press down on the top portions of the skins so that you can adhere it in between the top and bottom lugs. Next I did the sides of the watch. The button one comes in three pieces, which makes it nice and easy to install. The button part, you can leave it off if you prefer, especially on the darker skins, I put it on for kicks and giggles, and it's ok. The opposite side of the watch is a bit trickier because of the longer piece. You just have to line it up just right so you don't have it wrapped more on ones side than the other.
Then the areas right under and below the non movable bezel was another two that were fairly easy to maneuver. Keep in mind all these pieces have a lot of forgiveness. Meaning if you mess up,like I have you are still ok. Just be gentle in pulling the skin up to correct ones misapplied mistake. The biggest PIA was the circular skin that goes lays right outside the bezel. OMG I was freaking out hoping it was on correctly!! LOL It is on pretty good, not my OCD perfect but hell, good enough lol.
To sum, the skin is of very good quality that has a lot of forgiveness in the application process. Not too sure about the bezel one, that was a one and done one! The overall look is pretty kick ass and almost....almost resembles the real thing IMO. Is it worth it? Well if you have used Slickwraps in the past and have good experiences with it like I have, then yes! :good:
Ok ok....pics forthcoming...oh and any questions please ask! Enjoy!
These things look great and they have so many options. Great review.
Moar pics! Now wood everywhere! lol

Custom strap made for me. It's what is called a Maori design. Watches like Magrette watches incorporate some design elements of Maori as well. I just loved the details and had it custom done. My first initial is on the end of the band, Maori style as well for the ultimate customization lol.
This band needed curved 22mm springbars to fit this on the watch due to the thick leather used. Yes they do sell curved spring bars lol.

All,
I also purchased the carbon fiber skin from slickwraps and I just received it today. I only purchased it to cover the back of the phone. I installed it and took some pics with a camera that can focus . As much as I liked the back of the phone, the dark color shows EVERYTHING and I wanted to protect it, so I figured this would be a good option. This wrap has a nice texture to it as well, so it is not nearly as slippery now. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.

The instructions from Slickwraps show to start by aligning it around the camera opening. I tried that, but struggled to keep it straight on the sides. I ended up lining it up on one of the curved sides and it turned out great. I am thankful that it was not a clear cover, however, since did have to peel it off a couple of times when I tried aligning using the camera opening. Since my cover is black, it hides any issues, including any dust.

I am right there with you on need to get it as perfect as possible. I had to peel it off a couple of times to get it to fit right. The key, in my opinion, is to take your time. Since the back is glass, the skins stick really well...almost too well when trying to install them. I did get it right on the first try as soon as I used one of the curved sides for alignment. It makes it a lot easier when it is not a clear protector because it hides any finger prints, dust, etc. that may make their way in during the installation. I am sure I would have had visible issues if this were a clear protector.

I tried the sides a couple times, but could never center it correctly. I ended up using the top and camera. That didn't end up very straight either lol

I got the natural series tan distressed leather from Slickwraps. I think it looks amazingly amazing to say the least. It was also the easiest skin to apply (Took me less than 2 minutes); due to the rigidity of the leather , and the precise fit. The leather looks, feels and smells great, all while adding a much needed grip to the back of the phone. One thing I was worried about was how thick the leather would be. I'm happy to say that the leather wrap fits perfectly and doesn't really add much bulk to the phone. The back now sits flush to the protruding camera; letting the phone sit perfectly flat on a table and not rock back and forth. I'll drop some pictures to give you guys a better idea of how it looks.
I was a bit hesitant due to the reputation Slickwraps seem to have on these forums, but I'm glad I chose to purchase. I honestly give it a 10/10. It's good to have a note with real leather on it for once. Only thing left to see is how well it holds up over time.

Amazing. Got the same color coming Monday. Any heat needed? Did you try burnishing the edges down at all? Seems like the guy with the black one did a good job of that with a pen.
I don't think it needed the heat, but I hit it with a blow dryer on the edges just to be sure. I also did burnish the edges a bit after I took the pictures so it would it would sit even closer to the metal frame on the sides. Honestly look great. You'll love it.

All,
I also purchased the carbon fiber skin from slickwraps and I just received it today. Thanks.

I have tested this since I installed the skin and have seen no issues .
Any ideas if this skin could be removed and later re-applied? Just curious cause I like these, but may not always just wanna have a skin on. I may wanna use a case, and so then what...

I am they they can be removed, but I am not sure about being re-applied. They do really stick to the back of the phone since it is glass. It took me a couple of attempts to get it aligned just right and it was not easy to peel off. If you are able to remove it without damage and the wrap is not clear, I would think you may be able to re-apply it a couple of times.
