ok so somehow i wiped all my data with twrp latest but before that i did not copy rom to my internal memory
now there is no software on my phone and tehre is no way to mount internal storage please help me how to copy the rom to some storage except otg coz i dont have cable please help thanks

HI good day to everyone,
i have a problem and need helps from all who had been experienced the same thing as i have now. i have trying to backup nandroid via TWRP 2.6.0.0 (before flashing MAX v12.0.0) into external sdcard but failed. then, i found my sdcard was became invisible & undetectable on the device AND i found nothing in the screen when i insert into Laptop to check. i have a lot data inside but tried many ways but still the same, folders & files are invisible. Laptop still can c the usage of the sdcard. pls help!!!:crying::crying::crying:

You have to do the process with an OTG cable and USB memory download the Rom you are installing.
i had that problem too
you should be able to see your sd card from twrp/cwm. if not i would reinstall from your computer.

hi, the problem came from the twrp recovery 2.8.6.0. i downgrade to 2.8.5.0 n everything in sdcard appear again in recovery mode.
i also test on samsung devices with 2.8.6.0 or 2.8.7.0, results are very good on samsung device. can makes copying or deletion via recovery with connecting to PC.
perhaps no one could spend times on butterfly S anymore further...
So , all what I have to do , is to change the recovery version ?
Than , the file explorer will recognize the internal memory ... ?

Please, I have a problem , the sdcard couldn't be read in the gestionnary of files , and in recovery mod , the recovery find everything in the internal memory , but when the phone is turned on , there's nothing on the internal memory , can someone help me ... ?

The problem is that it's the internal memory that have the problem , not the memory card ...

May be, you just have the "fast charge" option enabled?
What ROM and version of twrp are you using?
Also try to Fix Permissions through TWRP (Advanced > Fix Permissions)
Brother, i flashed xperia rom on my micromax a250. Eveythings working just fine, infact great..d problem is when i connect my phone to laptop to transfer files, its just charging! i used d default data cable which came with my phone...d funnier part is when connected to d same laptop using my friends sony cable, it got detected...now obviously i dont want to be buying a "sony " cable just because i flashed a "xperia" based rom !!!kindly help....

But Bro it is working in my A250 with xperia z2. I just change the mode to MEDIA TRANSFER MODE. (MTP). Iam facing the only problem to move apps to internal sd. Any ideas???? 1 gb is too small and no option to move to sd is killing me!!!!!

Thanks bro for information on EBR update.... Actually few other users facing the problem of corrupt sd after flashing.... Thatz why I'm not dare to try these one.. As new to to these modifications process I'm fearing to brick my device.... AGAIN THAKS FOR THE HELP BRO.....

Later on I tried the 3.5Gb partition EBR files and successfully flashed them. It successfully extended my phone memory to 2.8 Gb but I was unable to mount the Internal SD. Hope I have done some miStaKe during the flashing via SP Tools.

I was unable to mount the card in storage settings. Es FE was unable to detect. :crying: But 2.8 Gb is Nice. And The rom too...

Successfully flashed my A250 with the 4Gb EBR files...
The partition is now 3.5 Gb and 9.96 Gb. Flashed it on mere Rom. :good::good:
My phone has got new WINGS....

Few more issues
I see few issues with this ROM.
1. Earlier I used to have flip to silent feature in my Turbo however after flashing with this ROM i`m unable to use Flip to silent. I tried Motion gesture settings but still no go.
I noticed that with Titanium backup when I move all the user apps from phone storage to Internal Card after restart they are back in phone storage.
Also is there a way to default storage apps in Internal SD card.

Well you should have started saying that instead of posting in two separate threads, and saying that it started when you flashed Carbon. It started after you formatted your internal memory.
Check this thread, specifically, post # 8 for a fix.

hang on i did wipe data . and factory reset after installing cm11 on carbon
Hey so my phone fell off this morning and i thought everything was alright, then i restarted it and it would only access to the CWM 6.0.4.7 recovery mode, i've been trying all things, wipes, when i hit wipe data/factory reset, it resets at the middle of the process, if i try to backup/reinstall rom from the external sdcard it fails giving me an "Status 0" error, i can only assume this is happening because of the fall...
What can i do?
Please help, really desperated

Maybe the internal SD card broke because of the fall.
If that's the case then the only thing you can do is to install a ROM in the external SD card.

So... if that was the case, how can i fix the internal SD? Or how can i install the ROM in the external SD?
Also, the recovery menu only apperas if i have my external SD inside, if i get it out, the cellphone just gets to the Samsung Galaxy S screen...

Okay guys im reading but i really don't understand, i'm a completey ignorant in this topic, i don't want to screw this but i really don't understand anything...
Can someone help me? After spending the whole night reading i finally did it and i restored my phone back to the stock rom installing it in my external SD, i made two partitions, one of 10gb in fat 32 and the another one 4gb ext3 (used this for the system), but now i can't use the camera because the "usb storage is connected" and the external sd cannot be mounted...
why is this happening? please help!

I installed stock rom on external sd, then did this and i was and it worked, then updated to 2.3.6 and flashed CWM Recovery, after that i updated to 10.2 CM and then to 11, then i used NeatKernel for Kitkat and swtiched the external to internal and my phone is fully working now.

I am facing a wired problem on my GT-N7000, after flashing new rom with wipe data and factory reset, all files in internal storage remains intact. :crying: i want to format that internal storage completely because there are so many junk files like, snote files and other application files which i don't use so can anyone please help me out?

I have the same problem.
Using stock rom (no root access) I can format/factory internal SD card.
As soon as I'm rooting the device I can't do it anymore (from recovery's menu or Android).
I installed CM11 but no better luck.
Please help us.

Connect it to pc using Cwm mounts and storage menu and format it from there..
