I really don't understand you very well. Anyway, if you talking about battery bar, the only one that can make that is this xposed module. I use it & works flawless.

Your phone needs to be rooted for that.
If you don't have a rooted device and you dont want to root it, you could try the following apps:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.calsto.omega.statusbar&hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.firezenk.ssb&hl=en
I used these apps till I rooted my phone, then I started using the xposed mode which is way better.
Omega and Super Status Bar will take some time to start up after you turn on device, till then, you'll see your old status bar.

Thanks for let me know about those apps. I think that's only possible with XFW, cause I only use xposed mods (cause is the first thing I do when buy a phone is root it so,...). Have a nice day

Thanks

Well, today I do not feel like explaining what is. Simply read what a xposed modules (& xposed framework too) is & what you can do with them. If you think that is just one bkg app running, I assume you don't know what those are. So, read a little more (& learn more) & you will realize that xframework is a all new world of possibilities. Have fun learning new stuff & have a nice day

I understand that but expose is running in background

If your problem is about the battery, I can tell you that xpsd framework & xposd mods maybe drain your battery only 0,0000001%. A lot of other apps that you have running on background or not sucks even more, so...Use what you think is better for you & have a nice day

battery percent and 2.2

I was wondering if there's an apk for adding the battery percent to my battery icon like in cyan
thanks in advance
There are actually lots of apps that do this, including several free ones. Just search for "battery" in the market. There's one called "battery indicator", for example.

No, don´t know any.
You can try the "BatteyLife" in Market, I'm using now.

I believe you're asking about the hack to the standard/system batt indicator, not a 3rd party extra indicator.
Unfortunately that's a system level hack (not a simple add-on), so no. There's no apk that can do it.
I was also bummed to be going back to a generic battery icon, so on peadarog's suggestion I found (and then bought it cause it's worth the $1) the Battery Indicator app.
thanks
thanks Namuna the battery indicator is good enough to get be by till cyan gets the source code from google and rolls out the premium roms lol and thanks for everyones answers as well
sorry to dig up an old thread but now the source code is out, has anyone been able to figure out how to put the true percent on the actual icon (not an app)?

You can bet...
Cyanogen-Kang-Bang-Douche´s are working on that.
im using a modaco mod (r19), and so far he hasnt put that battery percentage in there. Just wondering if there had been a update.zip that enabled this yet. Guess i will keep waiting and searching.

MotoXposed and GravityBox

Which do you prefer (or do you use both?) and why?
I currently have MotoXposed installed, and so far I'm happy with the minor tweaks that are available therein. I guess I'm just wondering if GravityBox is worth installing - I've read that these two modules can conflict with one another, and that GravityBox doesn't fix WiFi icon spacing. Thoughts?

I use both and they work terrific and kinda compliment the other. Keeps me happy, try it out yourself and see if ya like it.
I use both. MotoXposed for the circular battery icon (with white %) and GravityBox for everything else.

Is MotoXposed the only way to use Xposed on the Moto-X? I've never used Xposed before, and my phone hasn't gotten here yet (hasn't even been shipped, damn Cyber Monday backlog...) but I want to get it up and running ASAP.

MotoXposed is a module for Xposed. So anyway you'll have to install Xposed
Gravity Box has the circle battery indicator mod.... with percentage.
I only use Gravity Box.
MotoXsposed kept crashing systemui on 4.4, so I'm only using GravityBox now. It does everything I need anyway.

Q: Root and then unRoot

Hi
I just moved from LG-G3 to N6, and like it for the most part. There are a couple of things I liked, which I believe I can achieve by rooting my N6
- Notification light
- Knock Code.
The rub is, that my corporate requires me to use AirWatch agent which doesn't work on Rooted devices. Is it possible for me to Root, install the notification light/knock code changes and then unRoot again (and retain these modifications)?
I hope the answer is yes
BTW, my Android version: 6.0.1, Build MMB29K
Probably not. Almost definite not for the light as it requires writing to the kernel's virtual file system to turn the light on or off... But maybe someone can correct me with some other way.
no. once you unroot, your mods won't work anymore. anyways.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/general/attention-questions-t3228454
Well the tap thing is xposed right? Never tried but I have heard since xposed installs its own framework to run its programs that you can unroot and things may still work. Though I think a lot of things that look for root look for xposed too, so your still likely out of luck.
Thanks a lot for all your help. Next time I will post to the right (Q&A) sub-forum
Sad, that the notification light is in the HW, but not enabled in Nexus

I do like my notification led glowing when my phones charging though.

I like that as well. I'm using PureNexus ROM that provides configurable LEDs(like I've it enabled only for battery charging) + double tap to wake and sleep out of box. It has many more customization options and very stable as its very very close to stock. Have been using it for a while now.

Root, install the mods you want, then use xposed to install root cloak to hide root from airwatch.

Sorry for the derail but Is there any roms using the 935u as a base?
Wow this looks cool. Currently running the playstore ROM and curious what is different with this one?
Just so I'm clear, the ForceDoze app is supposed to be in the rom right? I want to make sure I didn't bring any apps that I had used previously (Greenify, etc.)
I love this rom. How can I get rid of the data in the notification bar
Edit: I figured it out
This is running nicely. Battery life seems promising. I do like the layout of the N7 Camera. I also like and appreciate the tasteful mod choices. Question.. Any plan to port N7 Aod? Great work Sir. Much appreciated.

Great Rom! one small problem when I went to my settings the text was white and no background color. so very difficult to see. Thank you for your time and effort!!
The quick fix for this was to install a theme from Samsung.
WOW!!! Just installed it this morning but I have doze back finally!!! Another top notch release, the customization is incredible on this. I probably spent a good hour or more setting every feature up to my liking, the options are unlimited on what you can do. Great job, I have no complaints whatsoever. Thanks again.

Battery Percentage ONLY on statusbar?

Hey!
Is there any way to show ONLY the percentage of battery?! I don't want to see the battery icon just the "text". Tried to find Substratum plugin, but nothing worked. Is this require Xposed then?
Thanks
Not on stock, and with custom ROMs it varies. You'd have to go the Xposed route, and there is no Xposed for Android 7.x.
Who talking about stock? I using PureNexus and i thought maybe just there is a way with xposed, thanks anyway
If you actually read my post, you'll find that it says "Not on stock, and with custom ROMs it varies." That one sentence covers all available ROM options. Since Xposed is not an option, the solution I provided in the Pure Nexus thread is the best one: install Battery Overlay Percent from the Play Store and customize it so it sits over the existing battery indicator. Or did you not bother to look at the thread before asking the question?
... You think i am beginner or what?
I did, but it's only put the percentage on the statusbar with the circle, too. I just want the text not the circle.

Try Nitrogen OS 7.1 It has this option plus many more. I also like only baterry percentage mode.
@sqpp: You can't have it right now, which any person using Pure Nexus is aware of. That is why I explained in both this thread and the Pure Nexus thread the workaround I used. Now, since you clearly haven't been keeping up with the Pure Nexus thread, you have three choices here. You can use my workaround. You can try and modify Pure Nexus to use the 3 Minit Mod, which may result in a bootloop, or you can suck it up and deal with the stock icon until Beanstown106 adds the text-only battery to the ROM. Take your pick, but do not act all insulted because you can't be bothered to read the Pure Nexus thread, where all of this has already been discussed. It just makes you look like the beginner you claim not to be.
