Hi Jan, getting com.android process has stopped. I've saved log after installation. Is it this?

There is a problem with framework-res.apk. I know it as I was testing the beta release. I have a fix for that. I've already sent an e-mail to dev, they'll try to fix the issue soon, so don't panic.

Guys, please flash this in recovery to fix the FC problems @ boot.

which version do you own: 901e or 901s? I also tested everything while flashing with twrp 2.6.3.0, don't know the results with cwm recovery.

A: If your Ext SD is exFat, then format it as FAT32 don't forget to backup your data.

Q; ART doesn't seem to be working?
A: To activate ART go to Dev Tools/Developer options/Select runtime and ensure "Use Art" is selected. Don't forget to reboot!!!
If that doesn't work - then uninstall Xposed before changing to ART as Xposed doesn't work with ART. (see here)

A: Art should work fine as long as if you are not using xposed framework

A: ART stands for ‘Android RunTime’ and its job couldn’t be more important: it runs the apps on Android devices.
ART replaces ‘Dalvik’ (named after the Icelandic village where creator Dan Bornstein’s ancestors lived) which has performed this task since Android first appeared.
As you might expect Dalvik was getting very long in the tooth and it wasn’t that great in the first place. In giving it the boot users will get two significant benefits
1. More Speed
Dalvik uses the ‘Just-in-time’ (JIT) process which means it has to transform app source code into an executable program every time it starts.
Android apps have to run through a conversion each time they are started.
By contrast ART uses the ‘Ahead-of-time’ (AOT) process and this compiles (aka does the conversion) when an app is installed.
Using this method apps can launch up to twice as quickly which will have a dramatic effect on the sense of speed of your phone.
2. Better battery Life
AOT processing is making app-launch a less intensive process, so your phone doesn’t have to work as hard which increases battery life.
Using your phone you won’t see a major difference, but significant gains will come in standby as apps which run in the background will now do so more efficiently
Downsides of ART
1. It uses more storage Or to be more precise your installed apps will use more storage – roughly 10% to 20%.
This is because the pre-compiled apps which allow ART to run so quickly and efficiently have to be installed this way which makes them bigger compared to Dalvik’s on-demand method.
For those with a lot of apps installed this could take a significant chunk of your available space, they will also take a little longer to install.
2. Some apps are incompatible on Android 4.4.2, if you do find a key app that doesn’t work it is possible to switch back to Dalvik.

I was in CM11 rom, having seen this room, i tried to check the rom doing follwings, and now i am stuck at bootlop..cannot go beyond samsung logo..
Wiped data + factory reset
Wipe Cashe & delvik cashe
Superwipe by Biftor,
then i came to knw that my internal memory wiped..my rom was copied to internal rom, ihv SD card too
So copied the CM rom back to SD card and tried to flash, and flash was succssful but cannot go beyond startup?
What are the options i hv to restore phone..did a nandroid backup before flashing the rom and backups are in SD but still nanroid restore was unsuccessful..I using TWRP 2.6.3.1
could you guys help please..

I faced the same problem after flashing. I went on to loose recovery as well.. Somehow managed to flash recovery again using ODIN. then tried to flash another tested ROM, but baseband became unknown.
I had to get back to official stock rom, and now in process of rooting again.
Armin, I have used ur ROMs on S2, I had been a great fan of your work. I am not sure what went wrong with this ROM, but i would suggest to get this tested properly.

I strongly recommend performing a Nandroid backup before installing Rom
**INSTALLATION WITH FULL WIPE:**
*Download biftor rom , b safe kernel
and save zips to internal sdcard
*Go to recovery, Select Wipe data, Wipe cache
*Go to Advanced and Select Wipe dalvik cache
*wipe data factory reset
*Go to Mounts and storage, select Format system, Format preload
*Select Install Rom from SD card
*after installtion is complete , dont reboot
*reboot to recovery and flash b safe kernel
*again wipe data/factory reset(important steps)
*Note, first boot takes about 5-10 mins, so don't panic

You need to convert it to F2FS. It wont boot if you on f2fs based file system as its a xtn4 based ROM

Updating OxygenOS for locked bootloaders:
1. Download the Full Zip from above link and move it to the root of your internal storage.
2. Navigate to Settings > System Update > Settings > Local upgrade > Select latest OOS Full Zip
3. Flash the Full Zip
4. Upon Successful Flash > Wipe Cache from Recovery
5. Reboot Recovery Once Done
Device will reboot and your OnePlus 6 or 6T is now running on the latest OxygenOS Firmware & OS based on Android Pie Stable 9.0.4 or 9.0.12
You will then need to install TWRP.
Updating OxygenOS for unlocked bootloaders with TWRP:
Download the necessary files from above and follow instructions below
1. Reboot to TWRP
2. Take a Nandroid of your existing ROM just in case you need it
3. Flash the latest Full OOS Zip
4. Flash the TWRP installer Zip
5. Reboot to RECOVERY to make sure TWRP stays and continue to root
6. Flash official Magisk to maintain root
7. Reboot System and Enjoy the latest firmware without any data loss
Device will reboot and your OnePlus 6 or 6T is now running on the latest OxygenOS Firmware & OS based on Android Pie Stable 9.0.4 or 9.0.12
How to install the ROM module:
1. Reboot to TWRP and flash RenovateICE's magisk module you only have to flash the module first time through TWRP after this you can use the magisk app for further updated modules
2. Reboot system and enjoy![/SIZE]

It's a oxygen is based custom rom as a magisk module, it isn't hard to figure?

You need stock rom rooted, preferably OOS 9.0.11 for that magisk rom to work, I think framework and other system files were modified for the mods to apply, so once installed you get a modified rom with plenty of goodies, if anything goes wrong just disable it with twrp mm

If in rom you can in magisk, if it doesn't boot use magisk manager for twrp in twrp terminal

As long as your on OxygenOS 9.0.11 with no other mods or anything installed, there is no reason why it shouldn't boot.

Yep better disable xXx if you are using it before trying Renovate

So it's not a rom? I'm on latest OOS and I can install in twrp to tweak OOS and I won't lose data?

It's a rom, based on oxygenOS. I've made it a magisk module as not every file on your system partition has needed to be modified, so I only included the modified files.
No you wont lose data unless you full wipe,the most of the options can be controlled from inside our tweaks app.
