[Q] How can i connect my Galaxy note n7000 to Sony Bravia 3D TV via MHL...? - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi guys,
i am facing problem with MHL adapter. i tried to connect my galaxy note n7000 to sony bravia 3d tv via MHL but failed to do so. whenever i connect MHL to HDMI Cable to tv and to phone nothing happened and not even my phone or tv show any sign of connection or any notification regarding that. my phone not even show the battery charging sign. i also used 3d HDMI cable for the connection but nothing came out.... and when the vender (from whom i purchased the MHL) gave me the demo the same MHL was working fine with his HDMI cable and tv but the cable and tv he used were not 3D whereas i have a 3D tv. i dont understand why i am not able to connect the MHL adapter using 3D HDMI cable to my Sony Bravia 40HX750 3D tv with my Galaxy Note n7000. still struggling with that.... any reply in this regard will be appreciated.... thanx.

It is possible that these are cheap USB cables that are incompatible to USB 2.0 or something like that.
I have one of these cables

[Q] Need Help with USB OTG Cable please !!!

Hi all
I have samsung galaxy S i9000 and I have bought a chinese USB OTG adaptor that said on the cover it is for:
Samsung i9100/i9220/ Motorola Droid etc
Nokia C6/C3/C7/N8/X3/E7
it has a 5 pin as I think because I see 5 pins in the micro usb and the cable fits perfectly in micro usb of my mobile,
the picture of the cable is exactly similar to this

Now I'm on rooted stock version of GB 2.3.3 JPJV6 and I have installed the kernel of "USB Host mode driver for Samsung Galaxy S (i9000) "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1450298"
I am using OTG cable and the latest "USB Host Controller" app (Ver 0.44)
When the OTG cable is plugged in I am getting a message :
"root hub present, USB host mode is active" and I keep pressing on Refresh button but no matter what I am plugging in, I get nothing (can't detect the flash memory).
As far as I know this component does not need an extra power and it should work when plugged in into the OTG cable, and I know that the usb on my galaxy s can't give power to the thing that is connected unlike the galaxy S2.
What thing can I plug in, that don't need an external power source?
What else do I need to make the OTG cable work and read a flash memory or anything else?
Do I need a powered hub for everything or what please help !
Could any one help me
60 views and no one have the answer !
Because most people never use the host mode feature, myself included.

[Q] Using HDMI adapter and USB Hub at same time?

Hey guys, i was wondering if there is a way to connect our xz to tv trough hdmi and playing videos from hard drive at same time. I've got samsung hdmi adapter, wd elements hdd and xbox controller reciever. If I connect ac powered usb hub (with phone connected trough micro usb cable, my hdd and reciever plugged in) to hdmi adapter as power source, will this work? I know that usb hub has got power to feed 6 hdds
So please, every answer will be appreciated
Micro usb in USB hub, HDMI in power connector? HDMI will work only if you connect it directly to the phone. Can you draw what you mean?
EDIT: You can try on this way:

There will not be enough power, you need hub with ac adapter.

Problem - My headphones (USB C) discharge my smartphone

Hi all,
I recently bought a new headset (Sennheiser PXC 550-II), and I want to use it with USB C on my smartphone. However, when I plug it in, the battery of my Samsung Galaxy S10 drains to charge the headphones. How can I disable USB discharging (Android 11, root OK) ?
Thanks for your help !

I think the USB cable is only for charging the headphones.
You should user the studio cable to get it audio connected to your S10. Fortunately it still has the headphones jack.
Thank you for your interest in my problem.
Following some comments found and in order to want to disable the + 5V pinout of the USB socket, I also tried the cable "micro-cable male C to USB-A female OTG" destined for an external DAC, but the same problem happened.

After hours of research, no solutions finded.
So, I will stay in jack, because even if I lose the audio controls (and a little background noise that I don't have in USB ), my smartphone battery will be preserved.
I compensate with a 3.5 --> 2.5 jack cable from JBL with microphone and 1 button for "BL E35 / E45 / E55 / E65 / C45".

Accessories Ready For + Lap Dock HP X3 Elite

Hello, everyone, I want to share my experience with HP X3 Elite Lap Dock and Ready For.
Pros:
- works out of the box
- quality of keyboard is excellent, screen is also good
- size -> I was looking for something small and ultraportable
- price, I bought new for about 350pln (~80 Euro), USB C <-> USB C cable, 45W charger, USB C otg cable included
Cons:
- Audio is not working, you have to switch to phone speaker, Bluetooth or usb c headset
- touchpad is not very comfortable at this moment. Tapping is the only way how you can left click, buttons in touchpad are not working. (propably update should fix it)
- firmware update is only possible through HP Elite X3 smartphone with windows mobile (one of my friend have one, I should get this phone in few days)
For me its the perfect solution to work with termux and debian arm64
Overall, I can realyy recommend working with this lap dock. Even if not for motorola, its cheap and good as second screen to my laptop (linux, windows tested without any issue)
Cheers
PS sorry for picture quality, I only have my old LG G2 to take a picture
