Scroll over to the fourth photo. It looks rather thick to me compared to my Ballistic Aspira.
Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk 2

I think your high. It's as thin as any basic TPU. ITS THE next thinnest thing after the Feather. I have an Aspira, and it's thicker than this

Lol, I was basing my opinion on the areas above and below the two holes on the top of this case and they look thicker than my Aspira. That said, it does look quite a bit less thick on the sides, but I think it's still going to be slightly thicker if sitting aside of an Aspira on a flat surface. Post some comparison shots if you get one

Sent from my LG-D802 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

As promised. The Ballistic is the bulkier. The Trident uses a squared off design to give you a feel of thin and less bulky than it actually is. The Trident is a fantastic case and Uber protective. The Pure Gear is amazingly thin. It fits like a really good tpu case. Since the clear part of it is a less pliable material as l than the silicone like sides it enabled them to slim down the actual material. It fits perfect, gives a slight lip on the front to allow you to safely sit it down screen down. The clear back seem resilient as I've had it in and out of my pockets and truck and there are no noticeable scratches.
My favorite cases have always been the Speck brand, but this case to me has surpassed it. Great case

Thanks for the pics. So how does it look with a clear back? The back is such a finger print and smudge magnet, just wondered how you liked it and if it looks good? A picture would be cool with it on, if possible. If not, would love to hear your thoughts about the look.

Like I originally said, Ballistic Aspira is thinner. Your ballistic case looks like a MAXX or a Shell Gel, not an Aspira
Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk 2

Dude, there is no way aspira is thinner. Aspira still has big corners, then if the back is it's thinnest it matches the PureGear. I've had cases for many by phones. I've had aspira. This case is as thin as it gets. Only thinner is feather and that's because it's cut out the top and bottom.
Sent from my VS980 4G using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

I'd wager the Aspira is Closer to Trident than puregear

How do you like the Candyshell case? With bulk, buttons, etc. Looking to get a case for my vivid very soon.
I had this case, it looks nice on white vivid. I didn't like it too much on my black vivid, but I thought it was too bulky and the power button was too hard to press. I returned it.

I like the Candyshell it looks good on my white Vivid. The bulk is less than the OtterBox comuter I have that case as well and will post a thread soon. The power button is a little stiff at first but it will loosen up over time.

you shouldn't say that because whats not bulky for you might be bulky for someone else. I personally thought that this case was bulky.

But I'll qualify that by saying that I originally bought the otter box commuter and found it very bulky...

This one's cute! I think my wife would like it.
I bought this http://www.all4cellular.com/product/t-mobile-tech21-universal-7-tablet-leather-sleeve-black.html
It's a perfect fit but I wanted a TPU case too so I put a book inside and stretched it a bit. At 12.95 you can't beat the price. Real leather and D30 shock protection.
Ok...I've never uploaded pics before, and I'm doing it through the xda app. I'm sorry if these come out too big. I also can't seem to attach more than one picture at a time, I want to show the back and inside. This is the front. It's a mofi tablet sleeve.

Meh... Looks like my picture of it didn't load
I bought mine from Amazon for $10. The quality is great, nice and padded, material is like velour/ velvet. All the stitching is nicely done, zipper is high quality... the zipper pulls say "mofi" on it, as does the circle of droids design on the back. I guess "mofi" is a big brand over in Hong kong. I originally bought one on ebay from shezhuen (sp?) and it was horrible! The androids were backwards, the padding on the inside was very thin. But this one I got from Amazon came in the retail mofi box and I could tell it was the real thing, not a knock off.

[HOW TO] Nexus 4 Replace back cover\glass

Now start gently to remove the copper stickers from the right side "near power button" that nexus use like GPS antenna and or GSM (really don't know), be very careful because it is very think and you can easily tear it.
After removed stick back to the new cover
After you removed from right side proceed same action on the left side.
Now start to remove the wireless charger, be careful because in this part the copper part is thinner than the antenna part.
Be careful may be a lot of small glasses.
Now stick the wireless charger to the new cover
Well done, now you have new back cover

The image doesn't show the NFC or wireless charging antennas, so it's not original. I wouldn't pay over $45 for one of these copies. I can buy them wholesale (about 10) for around $35 shipped from China, and that's only 10.

i'm using this one. it's black and noticeably slimmer than the Diztronic case (thinner back cover) . downside is that it's got the glossy back finish as well. i'm looking at the Fosman (?) case which has a matte black back. T-Mobile has the Incipio Brig which looks nice, but it's too thick for me.

It is in the link I provided on the first page. I run the "aluminum" variant.

Trident Aegis

Does anyone have this case. I'm interested in how it actually fits. Its supposed to fit all variants, just curious to see how. Calling Trident is a waste of time, the girl who answers the phone barely knows that LG makes more than TV, s and refrigerators.

What's the point of dust filters and port plugs if you can drive a freaking DUMPTRUCK through the cutout for the camera and back buttons?

Still waiting here. I got notice it shipped Monday. I like my Ballistic but it pushes up edges on screen protectors

Ok. It just got here. I like it. While I would like button covers like my Ballistic, I like the overall look and feel of the Trident. I am not sure if it is enough to get the Trident to replace my Ballistic, though I do not think the Trident will affect the protectors at all. The Trident comes with a protector also. The rubber seals the camera cavity

How is it thickness wise? It fits both varia nts, and the Verizon is thicker dye to wireless charging. Wondering how they did that

I can't really speak for other carriers as I have Verizon. It was an excellent fit. It is just a little bit thicker than my Ballistic but not much. I think it may be a touch lighter than the Ballistic though.

I wonder if the variance in carriers had something to do with the larger camera opening.

I have the blue variant and yes it has some thickness but it is better than the Defender case that thing is huge. I think the dual pro will be the perfect size with good protection but I still do like this case just wish they had covered the buttons,
Wow @ that cutout. Dropping it on gravel would put a rock right through that hole.
That poor of a design doesn't even warrant a purchase.
