If you get error 7 you probably need to update your recovery to the latest version.

Can't wait!

i believe status 7 error is a device id check. so if your using a 6602 and this is for 6603 you will get an error. i think the dev needs to take the device id check out of the updater script

The script didn't have that from the start, Android Kitchen doesn't add device check to the the script. The problem is that there are multiple reasons for a Status 7 error, which is why I asked if there was an error message that states the problem.
I'm uploading it again, it sucks not being able to test it myself

wait for your fixed rom with patient, before that can I use this as my ROM's base?

@Drummerjed
The kitchens binary will not work with the Z (if it that is the one you used), you will need a good Z binary to replace it with (like from any other ROM in this section)
The script also needs to detail the right partitions, again, lots of Z updater scripts to use to make sure it's doing the right thing for this device
Look forward to your new version.

Nice, then I redirect my thread to this one
Is this based on the C5503 KitKat version?
Actually I am using the dalvic and bionic patches on Odex and it works well
I just want to ask why deodex ?The Lib and Bin folders don't get deodexed only framework and system app
so what is the point of deodex with the libaries ?
How did you fix the Audio bitrate and video recording at 20Mb/S
The only guide i know is this one and it isn't complete for the ZR some values can't be found

Am interested to hear your reply to John98Zakaria questions too before trying this out
I was on sijav's DualRecovery .101 ROM.
Now I wanted to try a 4.4.2 official ROM so I chose this one.
What I have done:
Downloaded stripped ftf (C5503_10.5.A.0.230_stripped.ftf) and pushed to firmwares folder in Flashtool (0.9.16)
Downloaded deodexed zip (dkitkat.zip) and pushed to SDCard
Rebooted phone to TeamWin Recovery on sijav's ROM (pressed down when led turned green), made dalvik wipe and cache wipe
Installed firmware zip (dkitkat.zip) from SDCard
Tweaks in Aroma selected:
"SDCard Access Fix" - allow app to use sdcard normally
"Bionic patch" - QC optimized libraries from nexus
"Dalvik patch" - QC optimized libraries from nexus
"HQ Video Recording" - 20 mbps bitrate and better videorecording quality
"Fix Audio in VideoRec" - fix for audio in video recording
"AutoRun(init.d) support" - init.d support))
Shutdown phone (this was automatic after installation, I think, but I took battery off anyway)
Ran flashtool, selected stripped firmware (C5503_10.5.A.0.230_stripped.tft), unchecked DATA from Wipe section (I wanted to keep data, but I had made a Titanium backup of all apps and data just in case keeping data didn't work) and flashed it (connected turned-off phone to PC via USB cable while I pressed volume-down button)
Booted and everything worked.
Xposed modules didn't work on first boot because you need to reinstall Xposed again. Reinstall from Xposed app and then reboot, everything from Xposed worked.
Used Force GPU Rendering in developer options if Settings is laggy (I haven't noticed any lag, but I keep that option on)
ROM has root, busybox, dual recovery preinstalled (checked)
I also applied this fix just in case Google Play Services causes bad battery.
I have deleted all Sony Social apps, Facebook and Twitter, never have used them, never will
Thanks a lot to xenius9 and sijav for all your help :highfive:
Will try to flash deodexed version when I get hone from work! Thanks a lot! Keep up the good work!

Still waiting for an answer how were these tweaks done
So I flashed the latest kitkat zip and so far everything works fine. Definitely saw improvements on battery life! Only problem is on the previous 4.3 jellybean my walkman app is updated to the latest version, as for kitkat it shows that my walkman app is already latest when I know it is older based on the ui. Help please?

Would it work fine on a C5502 device? I only flashed the kernel so that I can install superSU which I couldn't since upgrading to 4.4.2 and everything works fine. wondering if all other perks come at no price if I install the Rom.
How about including Art runtime in aroma?

[ROM] G530FZ stock 5.0.2, deodexed, root, xposed framework

Deodexed, debloated stok rom with supersu, busybox, xposed framework and updated minimal google apps.
Flash this rom with custom TWRP recovery FOR LOLLIPOP -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/grand-prime/development/custom-recovery-twrp-2-8-7-0for-lollipop-t3190351
Make sure you follow all the steps correctly:
1. download all files and put them on SD Card
2. boot into TWRP recovery
3. do a complete wipe (system, data, cache, internal storage)
4. first flash only G530fz_502_deodex_xposed.zip
5. when finished on the same screen WIPE CACHE
6. reboot to system and wait for rom to boot up, IT WILL LAST 10 MINUTES maybe more, it is normal for deodexed roms
7. once the language menu shows up you can reboot to recovery again
8. this time DO NOT wipe just flash xposed-v65-sdk21-arm-arter97-V5-generic[1].zip
9. DO NOT wipe cache and reboot to system
10. this time system boots faster but apps will be updated
11. when you complete setup first update SU binary in superuser app
12. install XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4[1].apk and reboot
13. open Xposed app it should say framework is connected
14. optionally make a backup and enjoy your phone

I don't think it will work, I will try to make rom for G530H later.
I just need these files from g530h running stock 5.0.2 rom and TWRP recovery:
/cache/recovery/last_log
and all files from these folders:
/system/app
/system/priv-app
/system/framework
also version number of stock rom that the phone is running or link to download from sammobile / samsung-updates sites
These files must be pulled with adb or file manager, I need files from rom that is in use, if I extract files from stock odin tar it might not work.
If someone can send me these files I will make you deodexed rom. :good:

Thanks I will make rom for g530h during the weekend.
weather widget is missing. Is it suposed? I'm looking in system.rar that you uploaded but still didn't find him
Unfortunately nothing works for me
Probably it is caused by encrypted storage in my case but flashing TWRP via Odin leads to boot into black screen with coloured vertical strips but nothing else....flashing back PhilZ CWM works but using it for installation of this ROM doesn't work (as expected)...
So, what do you suggest? Flashing back Stock ROM (v4.4.4) and trying it again or is there anyone else with the same issues but with unencrypted phone?
Thx for your help,

I don't have any knowledge of encryption in android, try searching xda forums for more advice, but I think such features were designed to be used with stock system and recovery. Also samsung KNOX is disabled in this rom but I am not sure if it affects device encryption in any way.

I'm not sure. I Odin the OK3 Stock tar. So I'm really not positive but I think they did.
EDIT. Yes they did.

It's really impossible for us to know as Samsung does not release any information on the modem.
OK3 Modem tar download added to OP in case someone needs it
My first Mod Hotspot-Mod Download link updated in OP. Please give feedback as I am still learning.. lol
I Gave It a Go...
I tried installing it this evening. Loaded just fine. But, I couldn't get the WIFI to turn on. But, I attempted to load all three of your modules at the same time: ROM, Kernel & Hot-Spot Mod. Some other stuff (kids!) came up, so I had to restore from my Nandroid Backup and move on. If I get some time tomorrow, I'll try them one at a time (in order) and let you know how that goes. Thanks for doing this.

No, Mobile Odin hasn't worked since Jelly Bean.
It Works! It Works With Xposed!
Yes. I needed the modem. Everything works great - including Xposed. Thanks!!!
For those who need it, I provide a summary of the steps I took that resulted in success.
Base OK3 Install
1) Installed the OK3 ROM (SPH-L720_OK3_Stock_Deodexed.zip) using TWRP, following the 7 steps listed in katodragon's original post (including reboot).
- The phone took ~15 minutes on the Samsung splash screen (black background with pseudo fireworks coming out of the logo) to set up. Patience is required.
- No wifi. The ROM could not turn on the radio. The slider would hang halfway to on. If I backed out and went back to the setting, it was clearly "off."
2) Installed the OK3 Kernel (SPH-L720_Stock-Deodexed-kernel.zip) using TWRP.
- I did perform another factory reset with TWRP just before installing the zip using TWRP, then rebooted. I did not wipe the system partition, though.
- Still no wifi. Same deal.
- I'm not sure if the kernel is necessary. But, everything is working well for me WITH the kernel. Enough said.
3) Installed the OK3 Modem (OK3_Modem.tar.md5) using ODIN.
- Followed the usual process: phone in download mode, selected "AP" in ODIN, et cetera.
- Success! Everything - including wifi - has worked well since.
- Performed a NANDROID Backup using TWRP at this point, but I have not had to restore from it.Xposed Install
1) Side-loaded "Xposed Installer" (XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk).
- Just for chuckles, I tried to fire it up. In failing, the app asked if the Xposed Framework was install (it wasn't).
2) Installed "Xposed Framework" (xposed-v75-sdk21-arm-arter97-snapdragon_requestConcurrentGC.zip) using TWRP.
- This time, I did not clear anything before installing the zip (because it isn't a ROM).
- My first attempt failed, but I received a clear report (in bold red letters) that I needed to use the "ConcurrentGC" version of the framework. The successful file is referenced above.
- Rebooted.
- Success! I have installed several (~12) Xposed Modules since. Mostly side-loaded, but a few from the Play Store. Zero issues.

Thank You to KATODRAGON
Again, thanks to katodragon for the deodexed ROM for the SPH-L720! It's been about five months since I upgraded to Lollipop. And, that means five months without Xposed. Thanks to him, I'm back to where I want to be.

Current Modules (all working - no issues):
3C Toolbox Pro v1.6.9
AdBlocker v1.4
Fix Lollipop Memory Leak v1.2
Greenify v2.7.1 (highly recommend this app)
Magnet Sensor Control v1.1
No Lock Home v2.0.1
Play Store Link in App Info v1.0
SwiftKey Goodness on More Fields v1.0
Wanam Xposed for 5.X.X v1.3.0 (highly recommend this app)
Waze Audio Interceptor v1.0 (not tested yet)
WiFi Filter v1.0.1
XInstaller v5.0 (not all functions work - but not causing any problems either)
Xposed Torch v2.1.1
I also have Secure Settings v1.3.6, but it is not detecting the presence of Xposed. So, I can't used the one Xposed function in the app. It's not a function that I'm looking to use, so I decided not to mess around with it. But, I'm guessing that the problem MIGHT be fixable by CAREFULLY uninstalling the app, then reinstalling it. My hypothesis is that the problem stems from Secure Settings being installed before Xposed. Something that I left out of my last post is that I restored (Titanium Backup) all of my apps and data after completing the OK3 install but before I attempted to install Xposed.

I was going to give this mod a try. When I clicked the download link, I got a message saying that the file has been deleted.
FYI. I decided not to try out the Hotspot Mod because I use Ting (a less-expensive way to use the Sprint network) as my carrier. Ting lets me use the native hotspot capability for no extra charge.
Sorry. Try the link in the first post. I forgot to update that one.

Hi.
You can try my grorkmod. It was created for the Telephone p9000, but works also for other chinaphones.
It look like mediatek (?) had a bug in their boot.img.
To be sure you can provide the following files:
/file_contexts
/seapp_contexts

I installed my Backup to have a Clean Start, then i installed grorkmod like is in the discription in the grorkmod-thread.
I Looks like Xposed is Working fine Now.
Thank You very Much for your Hint!
I can confirm grorkmod to fix xposed on my BV6000 FW20160713.
What I did:
- Flash TWRP Recovery with the sp-flash-tool (I used Version 1628 linux)
- boot into recovery
- install Supersu
- boot into system
- install busybox
- generate a ZIP file within the busybox app (and copy it to external sd)
- power off
- boot into recovery
- wipe Dalvik/ART Cache
- wipe entire System/Data (factory reset)
- power off (either by entering halt in terminal or by holding down the power button)
- reflash 20160713_s12v55_jk_3m with sp-flash-tool, replacing recovery.img with the TWRP one. (I suppose you can just exclude it, as it is still installed)
- boot into recovery
- wipe cache again (don't know if necessary)
- install busybox, supersu, grorkmod, xposed
- reboot into system
- installed xposedinstaller
- rebooted (through normal system's power button, not xposedInstallers menu)
- activated xprivacy in xposedinstaller
- installed xprivacy
- rebooted (again the system way)
Success
The hardware reboot within xposedinstaller still returns the error:
sush: <stdin>[8]: /data/user/0/de.robv.xposed.installer/cache/busybox-xposed:not found
The software reboot did produce a bootloop, though that was before I found grorkmod. I do not intend to try it out again.
@vsrookie
What worries me a bit:
Understand this:
SELinux is a abbreviation for Security Enhanced Linux. That isn't just a name, it's the programm.
With this mod you will loose the S in the name.

Would it make sense to make a "grorkmod-lite" that only fixes the broken contexts? (I know this question might sound dump)

Hi.
Thank you for trying my mod.
This was a hint for the old version < 1.0.
In 1.0 everything is fine. It "only" fixes the needed files.

If you update firmware via official OTA to avoid boot loop uninstall xposed by flashing the zip xposed Uninstaller for marshmallow(on xda thread)! After first reboot u have to re flash supersu grorkmod and xposed (clearing caches). I've lost two hours to understand!
