What is USB Force Fast Charge?
This allows one to force AC charging for any charger that is detected as USB (e.g. many car chargers) and pull the full current the charger can support.
It also provides additional security when connecting to public charging stations because by forcing AC charging, USB/adb data transfers are disabled, protecting your data.
Fast charge can be toggled by issuing:
echo 1 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge
and off:
echo 0 > /sys/kernel/fast_charge/force_fast_charge

Yeah that's why I use maximus. In the end I want something stable. I use viper x on my HTC one x its the best Rom I ever tried but for the BS I want something thats smooth and bug free and when I tried viper it wasn't fixed I might go back when I see it perfect. But till now its not close to viper x on the HOX

Well I'm worry bout this kernel right now

For Thrll Seeker 2.0 Info and downloads visit original thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1584955
This is the start of my new thread for the Thrill Seeker Rom I was lucky enough to get to pick up from CallMeAria when he changed phones. I will spiff it up when time allows but I felt it was getting confusing having all the betas scattered through out the old thread. So at least now they will all be located in one place. I have made two basic verions one for att only and one that should work for other carriers. I have also combined the original TS 2.1 pure v20p with some v21e stuff from samno's work. Huge shout out to samno for his work on kernels for our phone:good: and all the stuff i used from Promethius
I also want to thank the dark lestat for all his contributions to our phone and specifically for his v20p rooted zip I use for reference and some at&t specific files that were removed previously.
Thanks CallMeAria, I hope I do this fine rom Justice.

Instructions (Safestrap):
Reboot your phone. When you see a splash screen that reads "Safestrap: Disabled", press on the "Recovery" button. Once you're in Safestrap, select "Boot Options" and create a new ROM slot. After it's created, go back into "Boot Options" and switch to the ROM slot. Finally, go to "Install" and install the ROM and respective gapps.
Instructions (ClockworkMod):*
Hold both of the volume buttons down while turning on your phone. If done correctly, you should get a menu with white text. Select recovery. Once you're in CWM, go to "Mounts and Storage" and mount /system. Now, flash the ROM and gapps.
*If you used ROM Manager to install CWM, you'll have major problems getting this (or any other ROM, for that matter) to boot. Reinstall CWM via fastboot.
*If you are coming from a ROM with a custom kernel(CM, PAC, AOKP, PA), or coming from a non-AT&T stock ROM, follow skeevydude's tutorial to flash the AT&T JB kernel here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=40266528

How do I download the gapps?
It says "authorize download" and I hit it and nothing happens.
Edit: nvm, figured it out. Have to enable desktop version on browser.

It's a nice rom. Boots up extremely fast after install with a reboot. Confirmed LTE but there's a certain method I have to go thru to make it connect. Other than that I like this ROM. Plus camera works so that's all I care about

Edit build.prop in Root Browser Lite and add these lines:
ro.mot.ds.fastdormancy.disable=true
telephony.lteOnCdmaDevice=0
telephony.lteOnGsmDevice=1
ro.telephony.default_network=9
ro.ril.def.preferred.network=9

And I used BuildProp Editor in the playstore to delete any line with CDMA in it.

The LTE will not automatically connected after reboot. It will after making an out going call. This is weird. I may miss some changes to the build. prop
Other problem is tethering. The client can connect to the host but not to the Internet. This works fine in BR rom.

There have been no under-the-hood tweaks for battery, so your battery will likely be the same as Batakang.

Hey Zach - can you toss us a gapps? (nevermind, see below.)
[edit]
Also - this is very odd - the home button isn't working on this one.
It triggers a vibrate BZZZT but doesn't take me to the homescreen at all.
Menu button works. Back button works. Search does not. (Not that I ever use it...)

BOOYAH look what I found!

Turns out after installing gapps-jb42-20121227-TINY-signed.zip the home button works after all - no need for the custom terminal fix.
Go figure.
This has to be the smoothest jb ROM I've ever used..

Zach,
What's with developer settings not sticking after a reboot? Any thoughts? When I reboot or change batteries, the option is disabled on boot.
Disable HW Overlays: Enabled
Thanks for the ROM! I appreciate your effrots!!!!

I've been using this ROM for a few days now. Some feedback:
Pros:
Faster boot times than plain CM10
Interface seems smoother
I really love the DPI/scale! Applications look and feel so much nicer on the device's small screen.
ROM is minimal, no unwanted software. Just the basics.
Cons:
Audio playback stuttering is severe regardless of player, kernel or CPU tweaks. (Music lovers be warned)
USB Tethering is not working. (Looks like entire USB module/driver crashes when enabling)

To fix music stuttering go to performance and change kernel to smartassv2 and sub tethering probably needs 3rd party app

Nice ROM indeed. Thank you for the port Mark.
Hey, just one thing, you think you can remove the torch app since it's of no use with our device? And also, I've had some problems installing a few apps due to the DPI I think.
Other than that it's very smooth and slick. Great job! :beer:
EDIT: Well, it certainly doesn't appear to be a DPI-related issue, I've been messing with build.prop but I can't get Tasker to install via Play Store... it is important for me because I use it to optimize battery and data usage...

Hey thanks for the tip bro! Did you flash on top of the rom or you had to re-flash the rom and then flash gapps?

Ok so I flashed gapps from Tantrum's pack, didn't work. Then I flashed gapps from Goo.im and still nothing. Strangely, I restored a nandroid I made before flashing Pure Performances and that changed things a bit. Still not working for me though... Play Store now lets me choose install but I get 'Shared lib missing' and the installation fails. I only have 3 apps with this problem: Tasker, Google+ and QR Droid...
Sent from my HTC Desire C using xda app-developers app
OK, if somebody flashes this ROM and gets the 'Missing shared library' error message when installing apps from Play Store, this is the fix:
NOTE: In order for this fix to work, you must have Google Maps and Google Search apps installed
1) Download 4.1.2 GAPPS from goo.im to your SD card, (actually a GAPPS from other ROM for Desire C will do, but I just prefer the "official" stuff. )
2) Using a file explorer with root privileges, unzip the gapps zip (I use ES File Explorer)
3) Inside the ZIP go to system/etc/permissions
4) Extract the file named com.google.android.maps.xml to your SD root directory
5) Exit and go back to your SD root directory
6) Look for a folder named system, open it, you'll find the file you just extracted
7) Copy and paste the file to your system directory /device/system/etc/permissions
8) Assign R/W permissions as follows:
Owner R W -
Group R - -
Other R - -
9) Clear Google Play cache
10) Reboot your phone
11) WIN!!!
You can safely delete the extracted directory in your SD root directory.
This is by far my favorite Desire C ROM. It's light on resources and feels soooo smooth. Also it has pretty good battery life.
I recommend flashing too Crossbreeder and PurePerformances to complement overall speed.

Also, for the keyboard bug, you can install any 3rd party keyboard for JB. Just make sure you have it ready on your SD card to install right after flashing. I use TouchPal myself.
