Moto Christmas Boot Animation - Droid Ultra Themes and Apps

Why should the Moto X have all the fun. I guess a boot animation was imbedded in the Moto X and started on its own on Dec 9th. Why no love for the Droid Family phones? Well here is it for those that want it. Just rename your current bootanimation.zip to .bak and then place this one in its place in system/media, change permissions and reboot, enjoy! Merry Christmas!

if anyone try this way please talk here ?

I am using this boot animation since a few days!
Though its weird that the its written DROID when the phone starts up(as Samsung has no Droid) but still it looks good.I like it better than the n1 boot animation.
As written in the title it is a mod of the Motorola Droid X boot animation, so that shouldnt be surprising.
dude can u please make a file which can be applied from recovery and post the link here..
OK.

great!!!
hmm.. can someone post a link to another host like mediafire? From where I am, it's virtually impossible to download from these two hosts, as they always say download limit exceeded.
Is this the same one in Frozen Eclair?

Does this animation cycle the "droid" text again and again or does it show "DROID" only one and then stays on the "green eye"?
Droid once, then green eye loop.
just hoping
now I really like this boot animation but every time I have tried to use it on my droid x it comes up as nothing does it have to be resized to 480 x 480 and if so is there anyone out there that can make this? as I love the color green and would love it so much to be able to use this animation for my phone thanx
Good work, sir. This is pretty badass. I'd like to resize it to 480 x 480 and drop the framerate down to 15 or 20. Any suggestions on doing that correctly? I've tried but no luck yet.
Loving the bootanimation man works great on my Galaxy S, but is there any chance you could up-scale it for the bigger screen?
may i test it first bro??
than i will review again
great!!!!!!!!

[Bootanimation] Unstable for DS7

Here's a boot animation called "Unstable". Thanks to those great devs over at the Droid Eris forums. I just made some minor changes so it would run on the DS7.
This is not flashable. You need to push it to /system/media
Remember, always do a nand backup before you start messing with your android device.
Hope you enjoy it.
Here's one png to give you a idea what it looks like.

Bootanimation

I figured out where the stock bootanimation is stored as mentioned by me in the Q&A section.
This thread is for everybody who wants to share a bootanimation for the Shield Tablet.
So below here is how it works:
All bootanimations are situated in root/oem/media.
There is one for portrait mode: bootanimation.zip
And one for landscape: bootanimation_land.zip.
Here is a nice Lcars (StarTrek bootanimation) and one DrWho animation both for landscape.
Rename old bootanimation bootanimation_land.zip to bootanimation_land.zip.old.
Copy this file to root/oem/media and rename it to bootanimation_land.zip:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4t...ew?usp=sharing
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4tNrq8mGo0yUlpqUmNWclhDc1U/view?usp=sharing
Set permissions to rw-r—r—
Now reboot, keep tablet in landscape and enjoy!
Cool thanks any for portiat mode?

Thansks a lot!
Motivated by your post, I ported the nexus 5 boot animations to the 1200x1920 resolution of our tablet, both in landscape and portait!
Just paste both files in /oem/media and change permissions to rw- r-- r--
Btw, do you have any clue where the boot logo is stored?
Can't seem to DL the files. Just getting a preview

In general... I believe the boot logo is stored in the bootloader/kernel due to it being shown at such a low level of boot. I don't think it can be changed easily like the animation is.

Thanks for doing this!! Definitely better than the static stock image. Would be awesome if could port more like the matrix boot animation or even the lollipop one. Tia.

Anyone make an emulator skin for the Shield on Android Studio?

[BOOTANIMATION] QHD Moto X with Nexus Logo and Nexus 6 Trailer <Updated 10/04/15>

[BOOTANIMATION] QHD Moto X with Nexus Logo and Nexus 6 Trailer <Updated 10/04/15>
Hello XDA,
I always liked the Moto X Boot Animation when i had mi Xperia Z Ultra and Note 3, but i never get to used it since they was a Sony and a Samsung, so no M logo for them.
But now with my Nexus the history is diferent, and since i never liked the google's Boot Animation (only the Galaxy Nexus One) with the X or the coloured dots spinning around, i've decided to update it with a cooler one.
i was triying to use MP4 videos as Boot animation, but seems like it only works on 5.0.x and not 5.1, so i decided to build a QHD version of the regular (using images) Moto X Boot Animation, and later i've decided to include the nexus logo in it.
I used the Boot Animation version from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/themes-apps/motorola-moto-x-bootanimation-t2391927 and upscaling to 1440x2560, and include the nexus logo in the bottom of the Motorola Logo.
Here you will find the bootanimation.zip that i've made and the original one in case you messed it up.
just rename your old one to .bak and copy the new one setting Octal 644 permissions or rw-r-r and thats it.

Stock Boot Animation: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8mccIIJvIWnb3lwRXdjeV85M1E/view?usp=sharing
i was going to make a .zip version to install via recovery, but this is almost idiotproof, since if you mess it, it wil either go black during boot, or just show Android logo.
Some Frame Images Attached
Update...
Well i was looking for nice BA to port for Nexus, but most of them were in really low resolution, so when you upscale them the result was all pixelated, so i start working to convert videos to BA, and this is my first attempt.
This Boot Animation it's extracted from the Official Nexus 6 Trailer, and ends with the word nexus breathing while the X goes and comes. its in landscape mode, but the result is pretty good.
Remember to rename your original BA to .bak and then push the new one. In case you mess it up, just get into TWRP, mount system, then get in to advanced and file explorer, navigate to system/media, delete the BA.zip and rename the.bak to .zip and thats it.
As ussual, just push the zip to System/Media to use this BA, and set permissions to 644 (rw-r-r)

Dont forget to hit thanks if you like my work
This is cool, thank you.
Very nice... But i would prefer the background to be black in color... IMO with white background the screen is too glaring upon booting up...
Awesome thanks was thinking of this the other day !!
Black would look amazing! I think I will try this one out though. Thanks
Thanks a lot for sharing this. Works fantastic
Thanks, NICE ?

I was thinking the Same, but i couldn't find the black version. i was trying to change the white version to black, but since it has a lot of details around the logo, it was a titanic task to change 303 images one by one.
found one, but i still dont like it... it has like a white holow around the logo because of the objects.
Looks and works great!!
Thanks for the boot animation!
If i post a link for a bootanimation could make it so it fits the nexus6? Its the coolest animation I've ever seen.

You don't flash it, you use an Explorer to replace the stock on in the directory.

[REQUEST] Moto G5 Plus bootanimation

Can someone please give me the original Moto G5 plus bootanimation from the system dump?
I'm looking for two files:
Bootanimation from /system/bin/ and
Bootanimation.zip from /system/media/
That's because I didn't find any system dump for the cellphone nd I understand that you have Nougat out of the box right?
Thank you in all the ways!!!
These are from my stock/rooted G5+ with 7.0 Nougat so I think that's what you want. Had to add an extension to 'bootanimation' to be able to upload as attachment, so it's 'bootanimation.log' just rename it back.
Thanks!! Excuse me if I ask for something more... Can you share me the font that is used on the command center? I'll be grateful for real
Tackiest Moto G boot animation EVER. Yuck. Talk about unashamed self-promotion by Failnovo.
