Apps with pebble sports integration - Pebble

Is it still just run keeper and golfcaddie? This is a huge feature that should have support by everything from fitness apps and heart rate monitors to navigation and augmenting games.

I use Endomondo, but it does not yet support Pebble.
So when i go running, i first start Runkeeper without any notifications. Then start Endomondo with notifications.
Also works like a charm

Possibly doesn't help but like elot10 said, an app with notifications?
Notification Center can forward any notifications you get from any apps. If your favourite app can "alert" at thresholds perhaps that will do the trick?

Has anyone found anything? I also would really like to see data from my ANT+ heart rate monitor on my Pebble, but I can't seem to find any apps that will do this.

Speak of the devil:
blog.endomondo.com/2014/07/01/endomondo-delivers-dedicated-pebble-app/
Endomondo can get my heart rate from my ANT+ HRM, and now it finally supports Pebble. Unfortunately, for now the Pebble integration is only for the IOS app so I can't use it, but hopefully the Android version will come soon ("later this year", according to the CEO).

3rd party IR remote programs?

Are there any 3rd party IR remote apps that work on the HTC one?
Imagine a TV-B-Gone style app.. automatically cycle through the power off codes :good:
I really like the stock TV app, I just wish you were able to access more buttons than directional arrows, menu and channel.
Subscribed. Looking for one too but no luck so far
Only for TV I think the stock app is enough for me, BUT
I would like to have a remote app wich supports bluetooth (for my PS3.) and IR
That would be really nice! :good:
You can try irdroid.
Haven't gotten my One yet but in theory it might work. It says you'd need the irdroid hardware but they give you the schematics on their site and it looks like a simple ir blaster.

Well the only thing is, and I'm no developer, but I think the program needs to be written specifically to use the HTC one's integrated IR blaster. IR droid seems to work by transmitting a certain signal through the headphone jack, which is then converted into an IR signal
Im working on a TV-B-Gone like app, where the users can scan (learn) codes from a tv remote and upload them with the correct vendor/model tag.
Every other user can acesses the uploaded codes than and will (hopefully) have an universal tv off app.
There will be a rating system, sync code database function etc.
As i am still waiting on my One, i cant test anything IR related. If somebody wants to be alpha tester,
just send a PM and ill contact you when i have something to test(will take a couple of days)

I was looking for one too.. the bundled app, while good, doesnt have all of the devices i would want. I need device profiles for blu ray players, and for media center remotes, so i can control XBMC on my desktop. I already do all of that with my harmony one remote, but you can never have too many options!
Anything the tv app didn't know I just chose no on all the options where it asks did it turn on then manually programmed the phone from a remote no big deal to be honest I know control my lights my fires, xbox, tvs, blu ray player all with the same device

Yamaha AV Receiver? I've got one of them too, haven't bothered to look it up. Will have a crack at it later on, could be in the generic list.
Not all the models are listed, it's a code system that it runs on, should just be able to find the correct frequency and it should work, but judging from the remote that i've got for my yamaha, i can't see that it's going to work well, there would be quite a few missing buttons.

Hi,
is there anyone that knows if is it available an update of Sense TV data base? It seems that my phone does not have the codes for Sky decoder.
There is an app here on XDA called One to remote them all
It had an option to go through all remote codes it has

Good Apps For The Gear

So, I have my Gear unlocked and all with Null_ (and have had for some time) but now that the coolness factor has worn off a little, I'm kind of wondering what exactly to do with it. I am on US AT&T so I don't have bluetooth tethering (and I'm not sure my plan would support it anyway) so I'm wondering what apps others have put on their Gear that do not require internet, are not games and are worth having?
I've got a disc golf scoring app and a few live backgrounds. Really the scoring app makes it all worth it, but what else is there? Thanks for the suggestions!
I installed a calculator, calendar and to do list.... None require the internet but make the watch much more functional.

I would love to know more! I am assuming this done with a rooted customer ROM? How exactly are you setup?
What I want is to run Endo on a watch. I don't mind tethering the GPS, as my phone will be in my FuelBelt. If the Gear can make that happen. I will get that!

Either way, phone or antenna. I just want a watch that will run Endo and use GPS. It seems the Gear just might do that. Seeing as how I have a Note 2, I will have to give the Gear a serious look.

SlingPlayer

Anyone else install SlingPlayer out of curiosity? It installs and works well w/ BT tethering. The one thing I cannot seem to change is the app auto-rotates the image 90 degrees, so you have to take the watch off to watch it. Is there an Xposed mod or another way of rotating the image back?

You can set orientation with app settings (xposed module).
Would have never guessed this works well? Which slingbox do you have? I'm very doubtful that the stream would be good enough via BT tethering?
I am also running slingbox..... It will take a minute to adjust to the speed but after that it works great! Only negative is battery..... but really That's a given!

Worked great. Thanks! And thanks for the great ROM also!
This surprisingly works really well. Is anybody else unable to change the channel using the keybpard though? The right column is practically gone, you can't use the "3, 8, and enter."
Is anyone able to post a picture of sling player running in their gear? I don't doubt that it works just want to see the scale of it. I think it is pretty freaking awesome to have TV on your watch.

Since it's a similar idea, I figure I would just add this to the Slingbox post. I also set up IP Camera Viewer with success on the Gear. Now I can view my home cams from my watch as well.

I had a quick try of Runtastic and Runkeeper but I couldn't see a way to use the heart rate monitor while running. I had to connect my Polar H7 for that which seems a shame as would be great to just use the monitor on the watch.

Waiting for heart rate integration too during running and cycling. It's a shame it hasn't been integrated yet. What is the use of a on demand heart rate monitor. Kind of useless now.
not convinced on how useful it will be to be honest. the pedometer is showing me having had around 3000 steps for both yesterday and monday, each. I'm pretty sure i've not walked around that much since i'm working from home at the moment and have rarely left the house.
does it not pick up just any old movement of the arm and say that you are "walking"?

I have runtatstic pro and I have installed it in samsung apps store.

I have contacted runtastic support and its pretty much a dead end.

Do you have runtastic or runtastic pro on your phone?
I've successfully logged runs with it in a g2 neo, doesn't use the inbuilt heart rate though so I had to use the in built running app in the background as well but you can start that and then switch to runtastic and it keeps track in the background
