Omnirom / CM / AOKP 4.4.4 on Mini2 [FINAL // who takes over?] - Samsung Galaxy Mini

Please take in consideration:
The rom is tested on my GT-6500D. In theory it should run on similar devices, but as I cannot test and reproduce that, I cannot maintain for those
I am not responsible for any damage to your phone
It is my goal to bring omnirom to our device. Please donot ask for any features from other custom roms
Please donot mirror any of my downloads
For now, SELinux is disabled.

I installed it to test it. I really like it, but I probably face the same problem with cm11, that is, I cannot mount internal storage (sdcard0).
Will dig more though. Thanks for your work!

Best present for christmas!

This has been discussed a lot actually. I cannot seem to repartition as I get something like "SECURE CHECK FAIL: ID 0X95"
too bad for me and some other people I guess. For the record I have NFC model.

Perhaps in the new build you could make external sdcard as internal?

Problem is not in sdcards. Problem is cache is not mounted. Which is a kind of strange as earlier today it did work..
As I stated, will rebuild clean from scratch and test when I wake up.
And no, I will not swap sdcards.

AOKP JB-MR1 Android 4.2.2
Samsung 'cooper' Galaxy Ace

AOKP Legacy Team
This ROM is an almost pure AOKP for our Ace device. It is based on fresh Android 4.2.2_1.2 sources, current AOKP sources and portions of AndroidARMv6 and CyanogenMod sources.
It's still in its development stage, but recently it got quite stable and good for an everyday usage. If you have any issues, please report, using as many details, as possible. Saying just "doesn't work" won't help anybody...
Also, please DON'T report things mentioned in "known problems" below.

FAQ:
- will PSN mod work with this ROM? Yes, it's perfectly working.
- will Link2SD app work? Yes, it works without issues. This is a recommended way of work.
- will Swapper2 work? Yep!
- does CRT animation work? BTW, I can't get why it's so important... but yes, it's working from the first boot.
- can I use Adrenaline/SuperCharger/whatever "tweaks" scripts? Well, you can do whatever you want, but if you will use anything like this, do not bother reporting me any bugs. Is that enough for an answer?
- is BLN working? Yes.
- what the hell happened to Erik??! Nothing, he's fine. We are working together on AOKP.
- how can I add more ringtones/alarms/notification sounds? You can store them on a SD card in:
Code:
media\audio\alarms\
media\audio\notifications\
media\audio\ringtones\
Changelog:
2013.04.28
aokp_cooper-20130428.zip (113.5 MB)
- SU binaries fixed
- Settings FC fixed
- Toggles for "sound state" and "screenshot" fixed
- First steps in installer persistence settings
- Permissions Manager
- other small bugfixes and additions
- synced to official AOKP sources
- file manager added
Known problems:
- after finishing a startup configurator (after flashing), you have to press a Home button to continue.
- trying to play music causes DSPManager FC. After that it plays music normally, only without DSP.
- AOKP Torch still not working.
- native FM radio doesn't work.
- SWAG Papers don't work
- Live Wallpapers don't load
compatible Google Apps: gapps-jb-20130301-signed.zip
however the basic gapps services are included in the ROM, so flashing it is not required.

I just upgraded without wiping. What will be the issues? It seems everything is working fine, it is a great rom!

To be honest, I can't predict it... API has changed, but maybe upgrading process got better these days
Few FC here and there, nothing to worry about, but I loved Eric's work, and I know that you're gonna make this AOKP flawless! Keep up with excelent work!

Introduction:
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion...
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application; with this, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!

Very nice ROM!
Have one problem though...
I checked for OTA Update now. It found something, 2014251033-201401261006-nightly. It downloaded it, and when i clicked to install my phone said it would reboot and do the update. If not I would have to manually do it. Ok, said and done - rebooted tried to update but an error came up. Same thing happens if i manually install the update.

Can you tell me what the problem is?
What if I say no? Lol, just kidding...
It could be caused by two reasons:
a) Gapps (/system/app/Provision.apk, /system/app/CalendarProvider.apk etc has unexpected contents.)
b) system files are modified (this includes flashing a custom kernel which replaces system files)
To solve:
1. Format /system (or else old gapps will be restored)
2. Flash full ROM
3. Flash OTA
4. Flash gapps from MoKee Centre
Future updates will be working...unless you are still using a custom kernel, where you must flash back the full ROM or restore the specific files if you know how...

Tentacles (hidden inside of about phone under build date)
Supersu used for root management (still needs to be flashed for now)
App circle side bar
A slightly modified OMAP4-common kernel to help performance
Other under the hood things that you don't visually notice
Things will be added as things progress because OctOs is under constant development and improvement
Downloads:
The ROM is on my Gdrive.
I recommend PA Gapps.
Install:
Flash on a NEW slot on the new SELINUX enabled SafeStrap by @stargo to eliminate any bugs of flashing on top of old slots.
Superuser:
Rom is Rooted but it's limited, so installing SuperSU Flashable in Safestrap/TWRP is recommended
Install current SuperSu flashable zip (UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.45.zip - 28 Jan 2015) -sd_shadow
Updates:
Dump system and caches and flash....if you get lots of force closures, wipe data. I suggest wiping data because Lollipop is in early development.

Big thanks to @stargo for making Lollipop happen for the OMAP4 board!! Without his awesome work I wouldn't have had a decent device tree to use.

Thanks I ordered me a d4 so whenever I get that I'll be able to test more extensively. I aim to build again tomorrow and hopefully the fixes by stargo and joojoobee666 will fix the keyboard landscape issue and 4g issue (which is a OMAP4-common bug currently)

Thanks! I'm using an older 1-12 build for targa as a daily because newer builds fail due to chromium issues...I don't have issues for the other OMAP4 devices..anyway, enjoy the ROM and I'll try to update as soon as I get a chance. Just remember to either install on new slots or to wipe data for new builds. New slots may not be required, but for some reason that really helps to fix issues on targa.

Yea data problems on reboot is a known issue and an OMAP4-common issue. Stargo and joojoobee666 will hopefully fix it soon
To fix just go into settings and fiddle with preferred network.

New build up on my Gdrive. Lots of changes as far as framework and settings on OctOs side of things, and then all of the CM12 device tree changes by stargo and joojoobee666 so I would love some feedback!

Stargo has released a more official safestrap
Safestrap-maserati-v3.75.apk (31-Jan-2015 )
if you installed the debugged version likely do not need to upgrade, but if you have 3.74 or lower use Safestrap-maserati-v3.75.apk (or newer)
follow the readme.txt instructions on the download site
2-04 is now up on both my gdrive and xda, lots commits were synced so if you have issues please clean flash. I would really like some feedback because I see people downloading this.
I've been using the version based on 01/28 since...er, the 28th. The only issues noted other than CM12's usual:
Tentacles > Voice wakeup > Retrain your voice causes a Settings crash
Tentacles > SuperSU causes a Settings crash
Display > Daydreams > Light Grid > Settings causes a Settings crash
As far as general feedback goes, I was a little annoyed to find that most if not all the normal baked-in CM sounds had been replaced, rather than supplemented.

CyanogenMod 13.1 Unofficial BuildsCyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.STATUS: Stable
My Plans to this rom:
Flashable zip for TWRP
add more features! (tell me)
Rom Features (For now)Odexed, you know that is faster
Latest Sources
Built on CyanogenMod Stable branch
April 2 security update (wow almost april fools xD )

Only Zenfone's A501CG-A500CG full support, Zenfone's A600CG & A601CG Have partial support
NOTE: Even supporting these models, ASUS sometimes ships different devices with same models, that's why there's unresolved bugs like No Camera after Unlocking Bootloader. If you have this bug, probably I will not be able to help you at all with the issues you find as my device is different from yours.
Installation Guide
Install the Intel USB Driver for Android Devices
Download all the required files
Extract the system 7z archive with 7-Zip or Winrar
Turn off your device, boot on DroidBoot (bootloader) mode (Power + Volume Up)
Unlock your device with The Bootloader Tool
Flash the TecnoBoot and TecnoSystem images with fastboot
Code:
fastboot flash boot bootCM-13.0-20160418.img
fastboot flash system systemCM-13.0-20160415.img
Erase your data and cache: (don't report bugs if you skipped this step)
Code:
fastboot erase data
fastboot erase userdata
fastboot erase cache
You can also erase cache,dalvik-cache and data in TWRP 3.0.2
Important:
Flash OpenGapps before the first boot or it will have a lot of ForceCloses!!
Bugs:
Video recorded in 1080p lags
Workaround: Record videos in 720p quality
GPS does not work
Workaround: Try using A-GPS/Mobile Location
FM Radio does not work
Workaround: Try using TuneIn Radio, a lot of local radios are already there

I think that you guys should work together on one CM rom, eventually someone could port other rom. At the moment this rom is exactly the same what Dgadelha does

Ahoy! Once again, PA's back (for our device, I mean)! This time, this ROM isn't based on CM rather AOSP (The nexus sources). I don't know if there will be legacy sources as such, but looking at how today's ROMs are basing themselves off of AOSP-CAF and AOSP, I don't think they will but hey enough with the reading already, go enjoy the ROM
Bugs:
Gapps may not install on first boot, you'll have to boot ROM first, then flash gapps, then wipe data and then boot.
Keypress light is back to the old always-on kinda style (Tried various things, wouldn't work :/)
NOTE: This ROM is based on AOSP so it has that weird chipset-specific boot issue. So flash the included zip (Thanks @orsonbear)
NOTE2: If you face error 7, you can scroll down to post#3 for installation instructions
Download:
AndroidFileHost
Bootloop fix (for users who can't boot their device)
Even then if the zip doesn't work, you can try @orsonbear's fix or @turbolukex5's fix

FAQ:
Q. Why is there only 770~MB of RAM?
A. The kernel comes with CMA on which gives better performance and stability at the cost of memory
Q. Why won't my device boot?
A. This is a chipset related issue. But don't worry, instructions are in the OP
Q. What is the difference between AOSP and AOSP-CAF?
A. Slightly OT, but since many might be confused, AOSP ROMs are based on the Android source straight from Google, while AOSP-CAF (Code Aurora Forums) is optimized for Snapdragon devices in general and has slight enhancements for better Hardware-Software symbiosis (not the right word but I hope you get the point).
Installation Instructions
If the traditional wipe, flash, boot works for you, very well. But if you face error 7, you can follow the following procedure:
1) Once you face the error, wipe data, system and both the caches
2) Reboot Recovery (Do not let it root for you)
3) Flash ROM (and cfw zip if you have the chipset issue)

As for Snapchat, does the video go through?
Also for pictures, I'd suggest you use Google Camera as that one has 0 issues with orientation
After holding camera icon on snapchat i have to wait for 5 sec, then it starts recording in normal colors, after i leave the recording button, the video has messed up colors.

Boeffla Any-Kernel does not work.
AGNi kernel works though.
When do you see these reboots?
@Gokulbalram sometimes when I put device to sleep it reboots, or when the device freezes (when not doing any heavy task), or i install app from playstore, the device sot reboots.

That's very weird. Do you have any kernel settings set as such?
No, I have soft reboots on PA stock kernel provided with this rom as well as on AGNi kernel. I will test a little bit with AGNi and will let you know how it works. Also on every AOSP based rom there is an issue that i reported in Tesla's thread, when sometimes your Wi-Fi card mac adress changes to 02:00:00:00:00:00 where it should be 88:32:9b:58:3b:ba
