[Q] Does Zerolemon make an extended battery for Moto X? - Moto X Q&A

Hi there,
I am looking to extend the battery life on my Moto X and have come across the Zerolemon battery cases. They don't mention the Moto X on their website but I thought people on XDA might know if they are releasing one soon?
Thanks

Anyone know? :crying: My battery life is not good at all right now!

Read the entire "how's your battery life" thread. Every sort of battery help can be found there....just gotta read up. No one should have bad battery life on the Moto x...just need to fix issues sometimes.

Droid 4 Extended/Aftermarket Battery

Does anyone know of any extended or aftermarket batteries that could work with the Droid 4 by replacing the internal battery?
I understand it is an internal battery, but that does not mean it cannot be removed :good:
You can take it out, but it's not supposed to be removed, so as far as i know no one makes one for the droid 4. Some ppl tried putting in a razr maxx battery, but they then found out that the battery doesn't fit into the same slot. What you can do is get an external battery or maybe you can see if they make cases with battery's in them like they do for the iphone and other devices. Hope i helped.
I have been looking for a case that has an extra battery in it and i cant seem to find one anywhere. If anyone finds one please let me know. I use my phone everything so it would be nice to not have to take my charger with me all the time.

Sadly, I haven't heard of any anywhere. One of these days I want to tear one apart and see if I can't hack in a battery adapter or something...

I guess here is one. Seems to work for the D4 too.

There is a replacement, though, of course. :silly:
this phone would be awesome if it had a extended battery and unlockable bootloader.
Do we have something new about extended battery?

have you check it out from Mugen? I think Mugen may have it, but it should expensive(over $90)
Do Droid 4s share the same battery with a Razr? If so, the Razrs can upgrade to the Razr Maxx battery with some tinkering. I foresee problems finding a bulged backplate for a Droid 4, though.

did you read the 2nd post in this thread?
the mugen site doesn't list the d4. closest thing is the d3 and photon (not the photon q, which looks a lot like a d4), both of which have regular removable batteries, so it doesn't look good for us. esp now that it looks like the droid5 just got leaked... and it doesn't seem to have an easily replaceable battery either.

Mugen have released extended one too , check it out

I just puchased the mugen extended battery. It does add a little more bulk and unable to get a case that will fit the larger door. Other than the power meter not able to show true battery life. It is a software limitation. I do like the longevity of the battery though. My original battery would die while I was asleep after about 5 to 6 hours offBT the charger just sitting idle with no wi-fi or BT on.

hey there! Figured I would chime in on some info concerning extended batts for the D4.. Even though I am not sure that this pertains to the particular model you are looking at, I have found one that works extremely well, and does not need an extended back for the phone. It has thicker cells, and I've gotten more than a day out of it. Given that is not full use of course, but still thats almost unheard of (at least for me) when it comes to the D4. Also, I have to say that I was a bit pretentious at first, because this battery is sourced from china/japan on eBay. Anyways here is your link!

Yeh they have a extended battery 2085 mAh using stock door but the Mugen is 3800mAh which seems super capacity tho the device will become a bit thicker due to expanded door.
I don't mind the expanded door just want to know experience of people who have used it - how long it takes to charge from 0 to 100% and does it almost give double battery life to Droid4 when compared to stock battery...
PLSE PLSE share your experience before I spend $100/-
I bought 3weeks ago a new battery from eBay. It 2100mAh and the battery life is quite better than before. I was charging after 4-5 hours of use and now it around 6-7 hours of use. What kills it for me when it is 1xmode for internet.....because I have flashed over to another carrier. Im quite happy with the battery.
Here a link to the same battery i bought....http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Internal-Replacement-Li-ion-Battery-for-Motorola-Droid-4-XT894-EB41-2100mAh-/321329426209?pt=US_Cell_Phone_PDA_Batteries&hash=item4ad0b9ef21

Any particular reason besides the price & expanded door you didn't think of purchasing 3800mAh Mugen ?

I am more keen to go for this as it is lmost double capacity from stock battery...

Keep battery stats through a reboot

I was wondering if there was an app that would keep your battery stats through a reboot. that way if I install a mod and reboot I don't loose that my phones been off charge for x amount of time and these apps have used x amount of battery.
sent from my rooted at&t moto x
I'm going to guess this doesn't exist. I was hoping better battery stats would or some battery app but after 100 views still no answer. O well maybe someone who knows how to will make one someday lol.

[Q] Battery replacements?

Hello guys,
I know that Moto G 2014's battery is built-in and is not removable by users. But since a 2070mAh battery isn't the best capacity for this phone, I'm thinking of knowing the alternative batteries (if there is any).
So please let me know if anyone has replaced the battery or at least have any ideas on making it more efficient to use.
(I already know about the basic methods to decrease the usage like turning off the Wifi, Data, Bluetooth, GPS, etc. )
Thanks in advance.

Nah, surprisingly the battery usage turned out to be just fine. I travel between cities for university reasons, and it holds enough battery for a whole day! Coming from a music addict who's always listening to music.

No, Maxx's battery won't fit.

Battery Drained automatically
Hii....I have moto g 2014.Yesterdy He suddenly Drained all battery & right now he also do that again & again...
plz....Help me

Xt1095, where the heck do I get a new battery?

Normally I just buy anker batteries for my phone through Amazon but I can't find any for the Moto x 2014 series. I actually can't find any at all that have ratings; I won't buy a battery without a good rating or from a brand I don't trust.
My battery life is just fine at the time being but I do enjoy my Moto X so I'll probably be keeping it for a few years and will want to replace the battery down the road.
