I have a HTC one from Telus and my phone lags when in keyboard or in text messages and BBM. Does anyone have a fix?

Have you run a logcat to find out what is causing it?

Do some research. Logcats are trouble shooting 101 basics. Also stating what roms and OS you are using helps alot. There are thousands of things that could cause it from having too many messages to an error in the system.

I'm curious if anyone knows what the icon in the notification bar is that is directly to the left of the Wi-Fi icon. Thanks in advance. I have the T-Mobile variant.

Hardly. The biggest downside is that it sits in your notification bar. A other than that it doesn't use much power overall (unless you're constantly using it, then it'll draw more power)

Hahaha! No worries mate! I myself was worried about that also for days when I first got it! Found it on the homescreen then tried opening the app drawer and it's still there. Tried other apps and it still persists. I just noticed it's a theme when I boot into recovery and didn't saw it anymore.
I just updated and the ui is cool and the swype feature is awesome but I noticed the video quality dropped a lot:

I have the same problem. Many app developers just make new versions worse and worse.
I too am bothered by it but haven't found a solution yet. Here 's more on the subject:

Just as the title says. Why is the share menu different in different apps and can someone do something about this? (make it like the big white one all the time) It's hurting my OCD. ) I'm not rooted yet, but I will be very soon (when i get to my laptop) and I'm interested in a fix for this.

Glad I had a look on here because its come up on my HTC One after an OTA upgrade as well. However, when I'm here anyone know when us HTC One users will get the KitKat upgrade and when we can get shot of whats it called, Blink something
