Yep. Had to wipe data coming from Hashcodes CM11 and WiFi didn't want to connect straight away. It did connect after a while though.
I have also had a few graphical issues, in Play books app. Some of the menus are all dotty, then they pop to normal after a while.

thank you kindly!
do you mean it's still offset even with this merged?
no big deal, but i agree it's odd since the people over at the KF1s seem to have theirs fixed for a while now.

No I can't that change is already there...

New to the KF2, what issues are present in this rom besides the boot ani, which isn't a big deal? Thanks and looking forward to some slim kat.

Boot animation may be fixed...kinda stuck with SlimKat 2.3. The 2.5 build isn't booting as of yet (2.4 didn't boot either hence no update last weekend).
You may have some wifi connectivity issues. But that is just initial setup, but once it does setup it stays.
I know the Carbon build has a quirk of the screen off animation rotates 90 just before the screen turns off.
Other than those no one has reported any.

Build is running great on my fire, zero issues. Great work!:good:

[FINAL][ROM][P7510][4.2.2][UNOFFICIAL] AOKP Build 6 :: MR1 :: Mar 29 Nightly

I have sold my 7510 to a friend in need of a good tablet...anyone who may still be running this ROM, I'm happy to answer questions but am no longer building for this device.

Android Open Kang Project - 4.2.2 - jb-mr1
Hey all, here is a build I compiled of AOKP 4.2.2 for our beloved P7510. It's taken a good chunk of time for me to get this working, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and I'm happy to be able to bring it to you. This is COMPLETELY UNOFFICIAL, so don't go looking for help on official AOKP threads if your tablet turns into a hot plate!
The ROM is built from a CM device tree (big thanks to pershoot for his work and dedication to our device!) and as such employs a CM 4.2.2 kernel.
I have made no changes whatsoever to this code...this is as pure AOKP as it gets, fresh off their github. None of this ROM is my doing, although I may inject a few goodies of my own as time goes on. All I did was mod pershoot's CM10 device trees as necessary to inherit the right stuff and get the build to compile and work.
For now, I just want to get this thing out to you guys so we can finally have a few OG Tabs bleeding cutting-edge AOKP goodness. Make sure you show love to AOKP and donate to them if you are happy with the ROM!
Not that I should have to clarify, but of course I must also state...
I will not be held responsible for anything that happens to your device if you flash this ROM. You assume all responsibility for modifying and tweaking your tablet/device, and your warranty is instantly voided by doing so. If you come on this thread and yell at me about how your tablet started smoking from the Sammie port after you flashed this ROM, you may get laughed at. (But that won't happen if you read closely, set your expectations accordingly, and follow the instructions.
KNOWN ISSUES
- Any current issues that are known to AOKP - make sure you do your research
- Any of the same issues that are affecting CM10.1 for our device
- The theme chooser may be wonky
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- FULL AND COMPLETE WIPE IS A MUST (IMHO)
- Boot into recovery of choice
- Take a backup
- Wipe Cache
- Wipe Dalvik
- Wipe Data/Factory Reset
- Wipe /System (or, in CWM, "format /system" under Mounts and Storage menu)
- Flash ROM
- Flash gapps (see below)
- Reboot, and wait 10 minutes before touching it at ALL
- Reboot and enjoy
- IMPORTANT NOTE: CM10.1 will, in addition to installing the ROM, automatically move the contents of your /sdcard into /sdcard/0 for multiuser purposes. THIS ROM DOESN'T DO THAT RIGHT NOW - the result, it may look like your whole device has been wiped. FEAR NOT, that is not the case. All you need to do is move your stuff into that /0 folder after you flash the ROM. That can be done with a shell command via adb. OR, you can back up all your files to Cloud (Carbon, db, whatever) and bring them back down after, whichever.[/B]

[noob][Q] bootloader question
I have seen some 4.2.x threads stating something about the need to have 'ics bootloader' in order to properly install the ROM.
Is this also required here? For example, I am currently using the previous AOKP 4.1.2 ROM, and I'm clueless on how to verify what's my bootloader version. Do I need to flash some bootloader or just go ahead following OP instructions?
Another noobishQ: any expected problems if using TWRP instead of CWM?
Cheers for continuing with this ROM branch!

If you're already on 4.1.2 and have no issues with a rolling ROM or recovery screen you shouldn't need a bootloader flash.
TWRP is actually recommended. I swear by TWRP myself.
Make sure you don't forget about Tue multiuser piece and moving your files by hand too!! I know that's a nuisance and I hate it so I'll be figuring out a way around that plus rolling up the codebase in the next build.

Yeah really wanted to get this out so ppl could have a chance to see 4.2.2 AOKP on the Tab. Once I have the multiuser piece done out it'll be sweet. I may also throw together a quick script to move files back when you revert to a non 4.2.2 ROM

I can build for the 7500 but don't own the device. If I do that in the coming days and it doesn't fly my ability to support is extremely limited. I can only test and release confidently for the WiFi tab. That said if you are willing to take the plunge I will definitely try.

Would love to try it but I use HDMI and the dock daily. :/ There's a partial solution here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2082827
Do you think you can implement it in your ROM?
Thanks!
Running good so far. Slow when compared to Stock Eclipse ROM but I'll give it a couple of reboots before I confirm on that.
Any news for this ROM? I've been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I absolutely love it, minus the lack of voice+ functionality.
The only thing I have against it, it eats the battery so fast!!
Can i install it using twrp or i need for cwm?? Sorry if it sounds noob..thanks in advance

Nice man, working pretty good so far. Whew, you sure did through a ton of extras in there. Not complaining, just noting. I must say though, I dont really get the point of that halo))) thing. I assume its more pragmatic for tablets?
Anyways, like I said, pretty darn smooth. Only problem I have is camera and other apps not seeing the internal storage. The problem comes from being mounted at /ss instead of /storage/sdcard0.
Umm, I know a tad about this stuff, but anyone out there willing to show/teach/paste/exhibit how to change the default mounting point for internal storage? Like which file to edit?
Anyway, thanks a lot man.

Whoa, hold on a minute, we only get one awesome 4.4 rom at a time! What do you think this is, a popular device?
I'll test this out tonight and let you know how it goes.

I would have uploaded 2 but the other one is not what I expected (ghosting and funny graphical errors) so I need to decide AOKP or Omni...
Downloading now!
Ha, three 4.4 roms! Too much for our little forum to handle
Edit:
Installed, working great, Google experience launcher is smooth, rotation is nice, running great so far. Art makes it even faster, no fc so far. If only the mic worked.
Only did a standard wipe, installed rom and supplied gapps.

Unless AOKP somehow re-introduces tablet ui to Kitkat, I'd go with Omni.

I believe that the current Kindle app has some issues (ver 4.3.0) I downgraded and it works fine
Kindle 4.2.054 from [URL="http://www.androiddrawer.com/]AndroidDrawer[/URL]. Also make sure you turn off updating via wifi or it will just update for you and you'll have to do it again.
I don't know about Titanium because I don't use it.

Thanks will do. I did a fresh install and Titanium seems to be working now.
Updated build just a source sync.
This version does not seem to like ART, so if you have ART running switch back to Dalvik before flashing because it will not boot.

+1 for boot animation (it's been so long since jb!)
would you please consider a slim update for the tomorrow weekly as well? (still on your jan. 05 and running smoothly!)
...that or a beanstalk build.

[UNOFFICIAL] LIQUID SMOOTH ROM 3.0/KOT49H/KitKat 4.4.2 for Mako (upadated v8 - FINALE)
Hi,
I compiled this ROM for fun on Amazon EC2 cloud and decide to share my copy among my friends.
Then they give me suggestion to share it here.
I did not add anything, except I patched the MSM kernel as to surpass the error problem.
Note that this is not ROM cooking, instead, it was painstakingly ROM compile.. :laugh:
(means my kernel toying experience does help me in compiling this ROM from source)

Would the nightlies have all the features as this one or this is your own personal cooking?
I love the Lock screen notifications and all the slim goodies. I don't think anybody would want Active display once they get a taste of the Lock screen notifications.

this is pure nightlies
the only thing I replace is the kernel (since I suspect the toolchain that being used is GCC 4.8 hence causing compile problem.. I did patched the kernel to ensure compile problem settled. However, upon booting the ROM was bootloop so I decided to bundle with my own CM11 kernel, Aufa Kernel - just replace the boot.img file)

/* Changelog (Top is the newest bottom is the oldest) */
06-11-2014 { offical pa changlog here. As for my changes just updates from cm for our device if you wanna look just go and look on my github kitkat stuff will be slowing down as work starts shifting over to lollipop. Asking when its done/coming will make it take longer. }
09-02-14 {
Here are Pa's changes in their own changlog thread/post just click me. As for our device changes I've merged in the latest fixes for msm8960 as well as fixed msm8960_jbbl. So whether your moto did or didn't get the 4.4.2 offical update it should be appearing there eventually if it's supported by cm.}
06-02-14 {
Haven't updated this changelog cause I'm lazy. Check pa's page for their changes as for our devices included in moto_msm8960 I've been pulling in upstream changes from dhacker + cm as of TODAY 06-02-14 the patches for 3.4 kernel has been pushed so you will need to update your bootloader to stock 4.4.2. Simply backup or setup flash the ota and then flash the newest paranoidandroid. }
03-27-14 {
Everything is working exepct nfc won't turn off from settings.
And included gestures on by default & extra keys from cm in aosp keyboard. [If you want it just check that you don't flash gapps that replace keyboard.]
Let me know if anything else does't work, post here NOT on paranoid's G+ page
}
Edit : My bad I did not read about the unified thing!
Gonna test the ROM right now!

Yeah, peek first build is the 0327. Mine is working without issues. Didn't tried ART yet but it seems PA don't recommend it. Nevermind, it's the usual warning from CM and PA. I'm switching to it now to do some testing.
I heard peek was wakelocking and draining battery awfully, any comments on how is working now?

I can't be really objective yet because I had this installed 1 day ago. Didn't noticed an "awfully battery draining" but it could be better. We're awared how keeping peek active could impact on battery performance because those 10 sec sensor window. It has some issues already, sometimes sensors won't respond and it won't wake up when you pick it up. But peek is on beta yet and all-in-all is working as espected.
So I flashed the 3/27 build and idk if I'm missing something but I have like no options...no extra goodies no peek no pie seemed like stock KitKat so I restored my previous ROM, I'm still interested in trying this seemed smooth just no extra tweaks or settings on my end...am I the only one with this issue? Clean wipe flashed through twrp wiped cache and all that jazz lol

Also, probably a very dumb question. but does coming from the unofficial AOSPA build count as coming from a different ROM (AKA require a factory reset?) or is just a system/cache wipe okay.
