[KERNEL][MK2] Unknownforce's STOCK modded kernel (FLASHABLE) - Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 4 General

I needed to put together a flashable MK2 Stock Kernel setup for myself while testing out different ROMS and KERNELS. I always find myself back on unknownforces's stock modded kernel no matter which MK2 ROM I run.
With unknownforce's permission, here is a flashable zip for anyone that wants it.
This is basically the stock MK2 kernel with exfat and init.d support.
Please thank unknownforce for his work here:

Download kernel here:

A question for you :
unknownforce is using Ktoonsez's Kernel in his ROM (the link you have posted is TriForceROM) , were did you find the unknownforce Kernel ?
Is this the latest rev ?
Thanks.

Unknownforce uses aroma installer when flashing TriForceROM so upon flashing you can choose which kernel you want to run (MK2-stock-modded or KT's kernel)
The zip I have posted above is the stock-modded. If unknown's kernel has been updated at all then I can create a new zip but I wasn't aware it had been. There is really no reason to.

Bluetooth issues
eugene373, I apologize for bringing this up again, but I have JAC's kernel working on stock JI6 utilizing the libs and binarys you posted here. I am however, having the same issues with bluetooth not starting properly. Is there any way I could get you to explain what the fix involves? Again I apologize for the inconvenience and thanks again for all of your hard work.
Nevermind, I have bluetooth working, and it was a very simple fix... turns out it was the related to btld, replaced the file with Frankin-Final and all is well.
Yes, that why I had updated my post when I released update 4 of ft Rom.

Anyone feeling generous? Prehaps we could repackage this into a flashable CWM zip. I wouldn't mind a stock JI6 with JAC's kernel (or the new voodoo one when it finally drops).
It would make the whole "hey look a new leak, lets flash it" process a bit more friendly.

I agree. This would be awesome as an update.zip so we could use JACs kernels!

*I will not be held responsible for any damages, so proceed at your own risk.
I have packaged this up for all who are interested... it can be found here, rather here. If you do not have ClockWork installed, just rename to update.zip and install through Samsung recovery as usual. I couldn't get the update.zip method to work, although I only experimented once.
And here, rather here is JAC's kernel (Vibrant OC/UV V1.1 CWM Recovery) along with the Old kernel back-ported files.
And here is JAC's kernel (Voodoo OC/UV Beta4 CWM Recovery V1.1). *I have not tested this kernel due to having the larger NAND.
KingClick's CFS Kernel #3.
Kernel Backport Uninstall (Replaces the Backport files with JI6 lib/system originals.)
Stock JI6 kernel with Backport removed (Replaces the Backport files with JI6 lib/system originals as well as flashes the stock JI6 kernel.)
Good work.
Welp, I asked for it, so I guess it's only fair that I be the guinea pig...
Flashing shortly...
EDIT.
Flashed the second link and phone has booted up successfully.
Gonna try overclocking next.
slighpcs, I owe you!
EDIT 2.
Overclocked to 1200 with OverClockWidget. Rockin!
Gotta love this forum and everyone who gives so freely of their time and l337 haxxor skillz.

People have the Voodoo working on my Rom when I first Posted the Back support.

Not sure why you Posting Tests? I made sure it was working 100% before I posted the Mod for Supporting older Kernels on the New build.

[Q] I9000 Kernel odin flashable

My phone is completely stock 2.3.6 xxjvu at the moment. Can anyone direct me to a good Odin-flashable kernel? I've tried a few kernels but one of them doesn't work so I guess my phone is kinda nitpicky, so I request a stable proven kernel rather than an experimental one.
You can choose from here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1102881

Those are firmwares though (and stock kernels)? I request a kernel with root. Sorry if I am missing something.
Then choose this:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788108 or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1112908

[Q] Help me out a little please

Hi, I'm me again.. Ok. Here's the thing. I was just searching out files from roms for alfs, nAa and stock and I found out that ramdisk.tar files is in stock kernel roms and the others not! And also, I got libs for stock kernel. First is first! I wanted to know if I add ramdisk.tar files from stock kernel rom's and paste it in the other kernels rom and flash libs would boot up that? I don't really think so but I'm just asking. Hay.. Easy on me. While other peoples creating threads that doesn't even make sense about soft bricking (They didn't use the search button I hoped (Forever Alone Search Button)) I was asking some quite well questions so easy on me please
Please
Why don't just go ahead and try it?
As I remember (I not used stock kernel and roms for this kernel since the first custom kernel out ), the separated ramdisk files needed for the recovery. Ramdisk.tar contains the stock ramdisk, cwm.tar contains the clockwormod recovery, another tar file contains the xrecovery. Examine the chargemon file in any stock kernel based rom, you can see how to work...
I don't know what is your goal with these tar files and libs. You want to use naa/alfs based roms on stock kernel? If yes, you need to revert lot of things (wifi, egl libs, sensor drivers, etc...)

Just download the zip file for the kernel and flash the zip file by going to recovery. And you will get switched to the kernel.
This is the alternative i forgot, thanks:good:

You don't have to extract kernels from other roms, you can just search on the development page http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1786220
or you can choose any kernel you want here :
for android 2.3 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1112908
and for Jelly Bean : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1786220____http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1795274
just flash the zip file in recovery mode
And have you flashed an other kernel ??? Are you satisfied ?

[KERNEL] [STOCK] BeastMode SimplyRoot by freeza [T710] [PB1] [Permissive] [ROOT]

Here is the BeastMode SimplyRoot Kernel by freeza based on the PB1 source.
Many people have been requesting a update stock kernel with the root restriction disabled so here it is. "SimplyRoot"
The only thing in this kernel that is different from Stock is SE Android Permissive.
Important Notes, please read.
PB1 is the latest firmware build for the T710.
The only change in PB1 was and updated Kernel. The Platform (ROM) in PB1 is the same as OJ1.
It is worth mentioning that OL6 also had the same platform as OJ1 and only was an updated Kernel.
So what this shows is that from OJ1 Samsung clearly has been tweaking the Kernel.
Because of this I suggest updating to PB1 to recieve the best battery life and performance.
NOTE: You can flash back and forth between OJ1, OL6, & PB1 as they have the same bootloader so no risk trying any of these firmware.
Thanks!
Big ups to Freeza who took the time out and was the one to make all of this happen.
If you really dig this and are the donating or praising type please direct all credits, thank you(s), and donations to freeza
Features?
-Root Restriction Disabled
-SE Android Permissive

Nobody should need a flashable zip to install a kernel. There is no need to provide multiple formats for flashing.
One great feature of TWRP is it provides image flashing. Extract it from the tar archive and flash away.
Thanks for this. Does anyone have a stock PB1 kernel in case I want to go back? Or, since I did a full TWRP backup before flashing, will that restore my stock kernel (while wiping out everything else)?
