I've been online searching for a solution a couple of hours already but i can't find anytbung about my problem...
Here's my problem:
I just bought the samsung galaxy ace and everything works except for one thing. I can't download anything from the internet (I've tried several browsers). The second i try to download something, it says that I need an sd card to download the file. I don't even have an sd card...
With my earlier phones i've never had this problem so i don't know how to fix it... It's just weird to me that i need a sd card to download a file especially because i don't even have one.
I hope someone knows/finds a solution.

I've already hard resetted and set the phone to fabric settings a couple of times.

yes brother you should have an sd card cos it is not a advanced phone which offers internal and external storage separately like grand or s4
so please insert an sd card

Ok so i bought a transcend 8gb class 6 sd card from newegg.com and i formatted it and did all the correct steps (at least i hope) haha but all of a sudden my phone decided to freeze itself and just wipe itself OF EVERYTHING i turned my phone back on nothing was there all my stuff was gone thank god i still have my other 2gb card but the whole reason i bought my other memory card is because i wanted to use that one not my 2gb anymore. Anyone have this problem or anyone have suggestions? Im seriously considering on returning the thing because i read somewhere a MOD had the same problem and won't use this card again... well you could try flashing amon_ra's ra-recovery-dream-v1.2.3 recovery image (you can find it on one of the first few pages in the dream development section of the forum). Try reformatting/partitioning from this recovery. It's super easy. 1 click, no computer needed! Super handy when you gotta partition on the go! Also, I've been running a Trancend 8g class 6 for several months without any problems. Weird.

When I got my Galaxy S many months ago, just after UK launch, I then did a mod for the OS to run off the SD Card. I was happy with the speed and how it worked so intended to leave it as it is. However the SD card has crapped out on me so now I have a brick! I cannot even remember which version of the mod it was, there were so many at the time and I didn't intend to remove it. I am pretty sure it was the Mimocan fix from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=724251. So how do I get the phone back to working stock, so I can start again?

Hi guys, I bought my first WM7 phone more or less a week ago. Returned home I updated my hd7 and it was ok.. Using the phone I saw that it reboot himself automatically sometimes and other times after the reboot he says me "Storage card not working"... I though that the problem was the update... I tried to downgrade but I failed this operation because I've never used a WP7, I had an iPhone... So.. I tried other times to downgrade but nothing.. Now my pc don't recognize the phone in boot manager mode (the colored screen) and it's not written USB or Serial on the bottom... I think I did a bad think...
Can you help me to repair my mobile?! What do you think i have to do for solve the rebooting problem?!
I also colled Htc support and they said me to send them the phone but I can't stay 2 weeks without my phone... My mobile is already under warranty for more or less one year.

I had the same problem. It was when I changed my SD Card for 32GB. But the card were too slow. I changed the SD for another ( and faster) 32 GB SD, and it correct the problem.
But, when you change the SD card, you braek the warranty.
If you want to keep your warranty, you have only 1 choice : send your Phone to HTC.

wich type of SD (the faster one) did you used? Can you say me the model and the type? Wich class ? Thank you. I hope it will work
I tought that the problem it's caused by a bad Sd as you said. I don't know how to do.. I'll ask to my friend that is a geek a solution.

hi everyone,
i have a Samsung Galaxy Note 1 (GT N-7000) on android 4.1.2
once a day it shuts down alone and when it restart i cannot access my SD card, it says "SD card is blank or has unsupportable filesystem", the only way is to format the card, i've done it but when i transfer something on the card it happens again.
please i really need help, i can't stay on formatting my sd card every day, and thank you

i've tryed with an other memory card and i have the same problem well i think the problem is comming from the phone

You should try another brand, mine went wrong with Sandisk, now works fine with Samsung SD card.
the first one was a lexmark 8Gb , after this problem i tried a samsung 2 Gb and a sandisk 4 Gb but the problem always persists, it takes a while and then the device rebooted again and the same card problem appeared

Maybe a rom related bug... Try to flash another one or restock your Note.
If the problem persist, you are probably facing an hardware issue. (SD card socket for example)

i got the impression that my XZ kills sd cards. does anybody else have that?
it first killed my 32gig sandisk ultra 2 months ago. i thought it was a coincidence and just put in my old 8 gig card(samsung) i had from my old desire hd. and then about a week ago, when i flashed beanstalk i encountered problems for the first time. rom is really laggy, recovery doesn't load, cant open developer options in config menu and so on.
when i click the "storage" button in confg menu, phone freezes. when i pull out the sd card it unfreezes and stops lagging...
without sd everything seems to be back to normal. whats with that????

with the normal firmware it s not possible
r u root/unlock ? and have installed an app that refer to ext storage with root access
or maybe custom kernel !
something like these can cause this kindda problem!

yes, all of the above. i never had that with my desire hd. and i had that for 3 years
