Geez I noticed I forgot the last part......remove qcom folder and everything else besides BT nv.bin (top) and the file I gave you. That is all that should be in the persist folder.....sorry that was my bad.

In my /persist folder only have the followings:
/drm
/prov
WCNSS_qcom_wlan_nv.bin
I replaced the WCNSS_qcom_wlan_nv.bin with the one you provided, make sure the permission is the same rw-rw- ---. Reboot!!! but my WIFI get dropped and could not connect. I reverted back to the old file and reboot and it came back the way it was before. Am I doing anything wrong?
Thanks

same here. I dont have a qcom folder.
am i to remove the /drm and /prov folder?
WCNSS_qcom_wlan_nv.bin is the only .bin file i have
i think everyone will have different issues. here is what i personally did to have wifi working great. i opened persist folder erased everything in it and pasted the file i uploaded in there. then use rsd lite and returned the phone to stock and wiped everything. then simply just rerooted. the bt_nv.bin is auto generated anyway so it can just be erased. but always for safety before erasing files save to external sd.

KitKat question

Yeah yeah I know this belongs in the question section but with all the problems those guys have in there I don't want it to rub off. Lol
Has anyone deodexed the KitKat 4.4.2 system/app or the system/framework ?
Was just gonna save my self some time. And also for the life of me I can't deodex the LGWeather.apk and LGWeather.odex or the LGWeatherTheme.apk and LGWeatherTheme.odex
I keep getting errors. Can't locate .dex file. And stuff. ?????? Any ideas.
That's for 4.2.2 and 4.4.2. Can't deodexed either
Did you try that other method i linked in your other deodex post? That was super easy. Some of the adb and smali/baksmali tools needed be updated. After that worked perfect

I've got it all deodexed on my pc at work for d950.

Yeah and it errors out too. If you would be so kind as to link me the lgweather.apk and lgweathertheme.apk and the sizechangableweatherwidget.apk and sizechangableweathertheme.apk that would be great. All deodexed Of course. That'd be a life savor.
When i get to work in the morning I'll find them and get you a link to my dropbox.

Here are the LGweather and LGweathertheme apk's. The sizechangeable apk's don't exist on my D950. They must differ slightly from one carrier to another.
Before you used the tool... Did you make sure that the smali & baksmali jars were the most current version? I replaced the ones in the pkg with the most current versions and had much better luck with it. I can't remember which one now but I know that there was only 1 apk that didn't de-odex correctly.
OK thanks. And no I didn't update them. But I'll try that out too

Does Anyone have the new odin file?

Can anyone point me in the right direction for the odin file for the new update to lollipop for the att note 3?
Don't think it's out yet

There is a solution for that. You can use Universal dll and then it will allow you to flash tot file

if it is ths dll "LGUP_8974.dll"
i have tried it but get an other fail dont know why
or can i instal another stock rom like d955 just to get the phone to start
I can't locate. Dll file but I think it's called cross dll. And yes you can install modified TMobile ROM. Look in the Forum that was posted modified T-Mobile ROM for ls995 . I had that install on my Sprint Flex the only thing is what did not work well was GPS was way off otherwise everything worked as the original ROM. I hope this helps

Thinking of your problem and because you delete it some system files I will rather try unbricking techniques since Universal dll file doesn't work

even i dont know where to start if you have any solution for that would be great
any why thank you verey much for your guiding
and help
You can install build prop editor and change the operator to OPEN instead of SPR in additional properties. Turn off the phone insert the SIM card and turn it back on. This trick should work for stock ROM. Hope that helps
