SWAP SD for Gt-18190 - Galaxy S III Mini Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have 32 gb card and i want to swap internal memory with external...PLEASE HELP!!!

This is not possible. The only thing you can do is moving your apps to the external SD card with e.g. Apps2sd or something.

But i swap my internal memory with external in GT-I9100,by replacing "vold.fstab"file..
Is there any swap for Gt-18190..

I don't really know about that. I also wouldn't screw around with those system files too much, unless you really know what you're doing.
Anyway, I don't know any way to do that. Sorry, my friend.

After looking around on the forum, there actually is a way to do that.

It just can't mount the sd card
Sent from my GT-P1000 using xda premium
Fat32? Have you try 16gb?
I think your 32gb might be ExFat formatted, and can't be mounted.

This is what it looks like even though i had already inserted 16gb sd card.

Hmm can't help there.
Is it. Visible from cwm? If so, then it is just the cm10.
If also not seen at cwm, could well be hardware problem.
Sent from my GT-P1000 using xda app-developers app
Do you need this?
Actually i don't know what is cwm.
I guessed should be this.

No I mean custom recovery.
Reboot to recovery, and choose to install,
you can choose to install from internal SD and external SD, if you can browse both then the hardware is fine.
Sent from my GT-P1000 using xda app-developers app
When it is android 2.3 gingerbread, it is fine but when I rooted it and flashed it to cm 10 , the problem came. It should not be hardware problem I think.

Too weird though. Maybe try latest cm10 nightly.

What kind of rom are you using? Are the pics in the internal or the externel SD? Have you tried to use another app than gallery?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
Make sure there isn't a .nomedia file on the path to your pics.
Reboot.

Help thks

Hello there is something wrong with my phone there storage size is different then what it claims to be. Help.
Sent from my GT-I9305 using xda app-developers app
I would say that the 1Gb missing is hidden, as used for internal stuff. So your have a little bit more than 11Gb usable for your own purpose (storage, pics, mp3, and so on).
Others will confirm (or not!)
EDIT: I was wrong saying that. I didn't noticed your picture ! So... You have a huge, ghost and unclassifiable file in your device !?

Then what should i do im missing a few valuable gb which i can use for other stuffs.

Avatar rom 2.16b.

If you came from stock Samsung based rom your sd card location will have moved to data/media/0 leaving all your previous data were it was not to sure of the path.
If this is the case use a file explorer to move it across then you should have accurate reporting of your storage

Nope i came from rxtreme rom

Ok i found the rest of my hidden gb now what it is located at data/media/0 and what now delete or move the data and if we need to move where do we move it??
Sent from my GT-I9305 using xda app-developers app
Move your old data to data/media/0 as that is the new sd card location for 4.2.2

I am no expert in this.
Have you tried to boot into recovery and format external sdcard?
Or maybe, the scdcard is of incorrect (newer?) type?
