What's the best unlocking sites to get my Att Note3 Factory Unlocked?? - AT&T Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone know the best website to get my note unlocked for T-Mobile. It's on att right now. And what's the price and how long it will take? Thank y'all in advance.

Oh okay. Was there any tax? Sorry for all the questions just want to know all this before paying to unlock sorry. Did the apn settings automatically do itself or you had to set them? And is the signal strength good for you?

No tax for me, but I live in Oregon, and theres no sales tax. so i dont know about that.
Yeah the APN settings changed itself to tmobile's LTE settings. kinda weird but it did.
Signal strength is based on your network, not really your phone, but I get LTE 80-90% of the time from the places that I go to (mostly in cities and urban areas)
Please press thanks if I helped.

Oh okay I'm definitely going to be ordering the unlock code later then. Thank you very much

no, ATT and tmoble share the same blacklist.
sell it on ebay for like 500 and buy another note 3. (remember to include that its bad esn or else you'll be charged with fraud)

Also when the kitkat update comes to us will we get it even though we'll be on T-Mobile on a att Note? I'm asking because when I had a att S4 on t mobile before I didn't get a update that was going on thru that time it was a few months ago. I even tried Kies.

if course you wouldnt get over the air update... you need to update it manually...
and if you're too lazy to do it manually, you can always plug in a working ATT simcard for it to update then switch back to your tmoible sim card.

Oh okay. Doing it manually is safe right? And can you please show me proof of the unlocking if that's alright. Thank you

Before paying for unlock code always check with provider phone was from. If phone is over 90 days old t mobile gives you code for free. att will also but your account with them must be in good standing.

Will or Is Force Roaming be available?

Curious if anyone knows the status of the Force Roam option.
I've really enjoyed having that option on my HTC EVO LTE.
Thanks
I've heard a rumor that Roam Control works on it. Haven't had a chance to test it out, I'll see if it works at all sometime later today. I too would enjoy having the ability to force roam (I live in the vicinity of a rural area so at times it's needed) - is great on my EVO LTE running MeanBean.

Ah I got it. Thanks I've never dabbled in force roaming before outta fear of Sprint axing my contract for "excessive roaming" and that causing my wife to kick my a** lol but I'm checking into it to see the difference in speeds and just use it in a "as needed" situation. I've come to the understanding that with the right mods you can do the ##778# and edit the prl from there but I'm not entirely sure yet what all that entails. I was just checking around in there and when I selected edit mode under the prl option it asked me for a password and I'm not sure what password it wants. Lol still digging but I'm at work now(in a warehouse so reception is god awful) so after work I may looking into it more. Thanks again any further knowledge anyone shares is much appreciated.

Okay, the RoamControl app does not work on an un-rooted phone. Confirmed using version 2.7 and selecting htc unrooted in options. The developer does not return emails, so those that are looking to roam on a stock device will have to wait for the app to be updated.
It's cool tho, I will be rooted as soon as I'm convinced this phones hardware is worthy of the pounding I'm gonna put on it over the next year! hehe
Peace.

unlocked bootloader for my motox on attunlocked bootloader
Hi, I am totally blind, and it's really hard to navigate these forums, I tried to send a message to zat and the other motorola employee, but my screen reader doesn't read the imbeded objects very well. I understand in general that bootloaders are not unlocked for att devices, but with the overlay, my talkback screen reader doesn't work very well, so would like to gain root, to use a different rom or remove the overlay with titanium backup. If you guys could please make an exception, I love this phone and don't want to return it, or could you guys trade me for the developer adition or some way for me to resolve this problem. My email is [email protected], and I'd really appreciate you guys allowing me to unlock my bootloader or some resolution.

Bounty Thread in Verizon forum tallying ATT exploit

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=52145867
Come on guys go over there and kick in some money. I'm returning mine tomorrow and I'm still kicking in 50.
I pledged $35, although I may raise that after some thought.
Come on guys! If you are at all interested in pitching in for a bounty to find an exploit for rooting our S5, head on over and pledge any amount!
I pledged $50 but in two weeks im going to up mine to $100
Is there a reason why anyone can't just get the T-Mobile S5 and unlock it for use on AT&T?

Perhaps some people don't feel like paying $700 upfront, plus other charges to sim unlock.
I don't understand the logic of offering a bounty in a forum for a different phone. Yes, Verizon has locked their bootloader as AT&T has, but there is no reason to believe that one hack would work for the other.

Since both bootloaders are locked and root will depend on a kitkat exploit there is a better chance that it would work for both than you think.

I think it would depend on the exploit. If the exploit has to do with the hacking the key used to encrypt the bootloader, the assumption that it would work in both versions would rely on another assumption that they are both signed with the same key. Either way, it may prove to be difficult, it it may take so long that nobody will really care anymore because most people will have moved on to a different phone.
I bought mine after owning an S4 Active. A root exploit exists (for now), but the bootloader is still locked after almost a year. Flashing a ROM on that phone involves using Safestrap, which is tedious. I hope you're right, and I hope that someone finds an exploit. I miss being able to simply flash a new ROM using CWM or TWRP.

Maybe not the bootloader unlock but at least a root method.
The thing is with the active, many factors are the reason why the bootloader was not unlocked.
1. It was a side version of the popular S4, not too many ppl got that phone since they already had the S4.
2. It was only available on AT&T and wasn't a major release
3. There wasn't a huge bounty like there is for the S5

Upwards of $700 for the phone + whatever charges you incur to SIM unlock. A lot of people don't feel like dishing out that much money upfront...and rightfully so.

Alternative: You can buy a T-Mobile S5, sim unlock and use on AT&T. T-Mo has unlocked bootloader...I did this and it works perfectly.

I know I'd be more than willing to do some seriously tedious code checking among other things if i knew it would help the cause.
Maybe buy some dynamite see if i can blow off the bootloader lock.. who knows?

The T-Mobile S5 is worth more because of the unlocked bootloader. You can sell the AT&T S5 for about $550 and get a mint T-Mobile S5 for the same price if you're lucky and negotiate on Swappa. Then you'll have to unlock it for about $30. Its all worth it in my opinion.

The thing is the T-Mobile S5 will almost always show a full signal bar. When I had the TMO S5 it would show 4-5 bars with a -100-110 dbm signal. ATT signal is much stronger and therefore it will almost always show five bars with a -90, -80-dbm signal.

Absolutely nothing. I personally don't think any developers even picked up the G900A because they knew it would be locked down. My advice: gt the TMO version and unlock it.

I can see your point on this one. If the phone is unlocked then you'd be fine. You would be getting service with AT&T, not T-Mobile or Sprint lol.
What I'm kinda worried about is that the S5 becomes a phone with wasted potential kind of like the Optimus G was due to lack of root

You can also buy a metropcs galaxy s5 its more cheaper than the tmobile version and unlock and also you can flash the T-Mobile stock Odin and flash T-Mobile custom ROM ...

I have never understood the mentality of "just go buy it from another carrier." Some do not have $650 just laying around to make that happen. Another thing I don't seem to understand is all the dislike of subsidiaries. I have been with AT&T for over 10 years and never had an issue. My bill does not seem to be affected when I get an upgrade either, so I don't see the logic of paying full price for a phone from another carrier and remain on another one. It would seem like I am paying more out of pocket that way.

T-Mobile S6 Already has Update Out

T-Mobile just stomping all over every other carrier at this moment for this device.
Meanwhile, AT&T hasn't even sorted out their system's issue with my pre-order yet because nothing moves outside of M-F -_-
Nice. Tmobile is acting like the best carrier should act!

Doubt it, but does anyone know if that update is safe to take and still be able to root?
I think the auto root method has been updated to work with the new update. You should Check that thread out to be sure
