Little background: I'm a senior in high school and president of my school's Key Club. We're putting on a race fundraiser for the Eliminate Project, which was started by Kiwanis International and Unicef to combat tetanus. 160 babies die each day from the disease and the Eliminate Project was started in 2010 to "eliminate" the disease. It takes just $1.80 to vaccinate one mother and the vaccination is passed down to all her future children.
Our goal for the race is $10,000 - a bit high, yes, but certainly attainable. Raising that much would mean saving the lives of more than 500 mothers and children.
The race will be in New Orleans, Louisiana, but I know UU has users from all over the world, so there is an option to donate. Anything is appreciated.

As ash from Iceland's Eyjafjallajokull volcano continued to keep European airspace shut down over the weekend, affecting millions of travelers around the world, some government agencies and airlines clashed over the flight bans. Some restricted airspace is now beginning to open up and some limited flights are being allowed now as airlines are pushing for the ability to judge safety conditions for themselves. The volcano continues to rumble and hurl ash skyward, if at a slightly diminished rate now, as the dispersing ash plume has dropped closer to the ground, and the World Health Organization has issued a health warning to Europeans with respiratory conditions. I have been observing that like facebook and other social media platforms, XDA has become a fan follower making platform and for this purpose people around the world making fake id's for praising themselves and as a result our keen developers number decreases day by day and definitely thats a great loss .
Can XDA make a proper framework that includes verification of each and every member and delete all the fake accounts .
Because i think this platform slogan should be "Quality" not Quantity ?
What other people on this platform think ?
