[Q] Slow Motion Video's Audio? - HTC Butterfly S

After the 4.3 update, the HTC Butterfly s also the real-time audio of a slow-motion video so you can hear it when the video is played at real-time speed on the phone. Does anybody know how I can access this audio file?
When I import the slow-mo video file into Sony Vegas there is nothing else other than the video in slow motion. (From what I recall, you need to download some Quicktime codecs to import the videos into Vegas, they aren't very good and lag on my old computer with the HD video)

[Q] Problem with video player

My video player could play .mkv & .mp4. But there is no audio for it.
could any one please solve this problem.
i have a lot of high definition videos, could not watch them with no audio
you have to make sure it's encoded properly with compatible bit rates and formats
suggestion use DivX to encode
Do you have any videos of 720p which you could play on your sgs?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
download any of the ones from YouTube
or the sample Samsung videos
or any DVD you rip from you rown discs
Firstly, try to shoot a 720p video using your SGS' Video Camera app and see if it will play with sounds. (of course you need to record something with sounds )
the vid will be in .3gp format. let's start from there..
It's most likely a codec issue. Re-encode the sound stream (Virtualdub I believe can do that)
yes i had recorded video at 720p & it is prefectly fine
how to get subtitles in a movie??
is there any app or the default video player can show it??

Samsung Galaxy S - Video Playback issues - No video unless scrub

Hello Everyone,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S (Firmware 2.1) with Bell and I'm having trouble getting videos to playback properly on them using the Default player, its very weird.
Here's the problem:
I have a small web page with a direct link to a video file. After clicking on the link, and the video starts loading, I can hear the sound, but cannot see the video.
Once I scrub back and forth, and then press play, the video then magically appears, but suffers from the audio sync being off.
The playback issue doesn't happen when I download the video and play it back off the device, only when I stream it.
This is the video encoding info:
H.264
MP4
480 x 360
30 fps
AAC audio
Standard (not iPod profile, doesn't playback)
Any ideas about what the heck is going on?

[Q] HQ Videos wont play! only audio...

High quality videos wont play anymore on my cdma htc hero. They used to work fine and very snappy at that. But now all i can see is usually a thumbnail or one or two frames and audio. This is for both youtube videos and normal videos that are stored on my phone.
Any help would be awesome.
thanks,
collin
It's a hit or miss. Some videos on YouTube actually have their file encoded at 480x270. While others do not. Those files we can't play.
Yeah the Youtube app only has 2 modes, "standard" and "high quality." Standard can be 240p or 360p. Unfortunately "high quality" includes 480p, 720p, and 1080p. Our Hero is not capable of playing video at 720p or higher And it's not just in Youtube, the same thing happens if you try playing a video file from the SD card.
So if the video is only available in 480p at the highest, it will be fine in high quality.

Alter video playback speed for slow mo videos

Is there any way to alter the video playback speed for slow motion videos when using the native video player ?
Thanks

Nah I don't think so. Just the Google Photos only I guess.

HDR10 video files playback

Is there any way to play HDR10 video files with proper HDR colors? HDR works fine in YouTube, but neither the stock player nor VLC or Kodi manage to play the video file properly; washed-out greyish colors are the result. The file is a standard 4k HEVC HDR10 24fps video, and plays fine besides missing HDR. Since the phone itself supports HDR10, I really wonder why it won't work. Is it a software-side artificial limitation to Netflix and YouTube (where HDR works just fine), or is there any technical reason behind this? And would there be any custom ROMs with proper HDR playback support?
Try mxplayer, has better support for hdr metadata than stock &Vlc

Any solution to this....?
i dont have proper information regarding the question asked.. but i felt to share my experience too..
i have VLC , MX player, KM player .. i tried playing Batman begins(2k) movie..
then VLC changed colours drastically by boosting saturation and gamma levels..
KMplayer played it in good colours, i found that something relating to SW/HW enforcing or acceleration has to do with it..
then finally i tried to disable all enhancements in VLC and tried.. then video became choppy..
it couldn't play the video at all.. same as my Laptop ( i3,8th gen - default HDgraphics) plays 4k video in choppy manner
then i thought: they are not only playing video, but converting the video while playing it.. because i can observe loss in detailing of picture ( my laptop with 1080p screen has more detailing than, phone 1080p screen)
