Netflix on the gear... - Samsung Galaxy Gear

Some would say "why???"
I say "because it can be done"
I mean it's absolutely rediculous... Why would you want to watch it on your watch???
But it does run extremely smooth. No hiccups or stutters. I watched a 22min show just to test it out. Picture looks surprisingly good too.
I don't think id watch another show on it... It's more for bragging rights lol

That was one of the first things I tried also. The only thing was that it flips the screen to an awkward position. Are you getting the same thing.?

Haven't thought of that! So in theory you can install mx player and then put in a movie and watch it on the watch?

That's hilarious.
I wish there were working bluetooth speakers on this, then this would make this the ultimate smart watch. But one can only dream....

Yeah that's happen to me aswell maybe because I added a lot of apps and lets say I added tango it'll appear as watch on or something else and when I made less apps it worked great but I've noticed when I get an update for an app it dissappears. And I have to do it all over again. Sometimes they just disappear I reboots aswell. also I have an S4.

NiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiCe find. I was using Multi Window Manager but this is so much better. Fleksy on Galaxy Gear

Hi,
I love using Fleksy on my phone
I've seen Fleksy run on the Omate TrueSmart watch.
Does anybody know if it can run on the Gear?
How would I go about loading it on the Gear?
Thanks!
It didn't work when I tried, you have to side load it to your watch! How to side load via youtube! http://youtu.be/lriJxw8IoSo
Did it work after you side loaded it ?

SlingPlayer

Anyone else install SlingPlayer out of curiosity? It installs and works well w/ BT tethering. The one thing I cannot seem to change is the app auto-rotates the image 90 degrees, so you have to take the watch off to watch it. Is there an Xposed mod or another way of rotating the image back?

You can set orientation with app settings (xposed module).
Would have never guessed this works well? Which slingbox do you have? I'm very doubtful that the stream would be good enough via BT tethering?
I am also running slingbox..... It will take a minute to adjust to the speed but after that it works great! Only negative is battery..... but really That's a given!

Worked great. Thanks! And thanks for the great ROM also!
This surprisingly works really well. Is anybody else unable to change the channel using the keybpard though? The right column is practically gone, you can't use the "3, 8, and enter."
Is anyone able to post a picture of sling player running in their gear? I don't doubt that it works just want to see the scale of it. I think it is pretty freaking awesome to have TV on your watch.

Since it's a similar idea, I figure I would just add this to the Slingbox post. I also set up IP Camera Viewer with success on the Gear. Now I can view my home cams from my watch as well.

Hi
The game is crashing after every event/course. I have to relaunch the game .
It crashes when it tries to connect to Origin ? I have a circle infinite loop, then crashes.
Error is "NFS has stopped", and if i wanna read error log, i also have "Google Play has stopped"
Sync, rotation Multiwindows are disabled obv.
So, after each challenge/run, i have to relaunch game, annoying

I think the app IFTT (If This Then That) has a recipe to do this. I've installed the app but haven't had the time to me around with it too much yet.
Yes it does, but the success rate is less than 50% for me for some reason. I would like to think sometime soon there will be a way to do this without the Internet.
