Play games like Six guns,Real Football 2012 without lag on galaxy music duos
Requirments:
Root access
Busybox[latest]
Swapper for root[latest]
Smanager[latest]
Chainfire 3d(qualcomm)
Scripts(download it from attachments)
Lets start now:
1. First install cf3d and use qualcomm
2. Use "Smart install" in busybox
3. In Swapper for root tick active swap on boot then enter 644 then tap on save
4. Wait for the process of swapper after that.
5. Open smanger then tap and hold on downloaded pdf (lazerdroid2.5.pdf)
6. Now select script/excutable then tap on su logo then run it
7. When red kill button becomes x then hit back
8. Now open the vmlagtuner.pdf script do the same like last one.
9. If it shows done 3 times then u r done.
Now add widget for both scripts on homescreen So that whenever phone is laggy run both scripts from homescreen.
Tested by myself on my galaxy music duos and soon i would upload a gameplay video of real football 12, six guns, dead space

I have done the above one but the first file- lazerdroid.pdf is reporting an error in the shell more than 2 times and gets converted into x button as u said. Next file is working good. Do u get the same problem or it was any fault. And also iam running oit of space after setting the file space to 769 in swapper.. can't we set it to less size

644 is minimum req. To make your phone smooth and that error in lazerdoid is normal but it is req. To make games smoother

i saw here in this post ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1575681 ) that the Swapper doesnt work with the stock kernel and also the size requirement is only 200 as said in the above post, So i have set it to 265 MB and i'vent noticed any changes. devs say that it works only when the device is running out of RAM When we Open Some Apps.. is it right. my device was too laggy when i have made a 769 Mb Swap file. Here is the screenshot i've made ..

I dont use swapper any more as vmlagtuner fix full lags and just keep to free up ram and thats all. Ur phone was laggy as it would be making swap file that time

I Have Played Asphalt 7 on my GMD (4.1.2) using Gltools. it was fine but the game has some lags.. but when i reverted back to ICS Rom i cannot play asphalt 7. it Fc after the Gameloft logo appears.. im using Chainfire3d App, NFS hot pursuit is working fine but this is not working.
Asphalt 7 requires 4.1 + ?? Any help would be appreciated ..

I m stuck at twrp brick so i think that cwm is safer....
And u can switch to jb but jb has more ram usage and less maximum ram than ics.
Alonso is working on cm 10
cm10 released gltools should be used instead of cf3d for jelly bean phones
Srry for a very very late reply i think u should move to jb..even cm10.1 now..i s6012 so cm10 should not be working with very well but still i would give it a try and thnx for telling about gltools its like a cf3d for jellybean phones se u can use it with jb ..switch to jb ..:laugh: good work alonso :victory:

Smanager is closing whenever i enable it to have superuser access, what could be the prob? i am using Galaxy Music Duos(s6012) on ICS 4.0.4

How do you install this? It says that you need to install this over the systemapp and then fails?
i find it bizarre that the CM9 Music app looks more at home in ICS than the stock music app.
A very good music player, has all the customizations and options you'll ever need.
Too bad it's purely optimized and the CPU spikes while it's running cause performance issues. The RAM usage is good, 21 MB compared to 8 MB on stock ICS player.
If it wasn't for the CPU usage I would have kept it.
Still a very good work, I congratulate the dev.

Very nice. After my phone went to sleep while playing music it rebooted. Poweramp and the stock player can play for hours with no issue. I had to mess with my kernel scheduler options to fix it.

Use TBU to wipe data in the stock music app and then uninstall it. Reboot and then you should be able to install this.

Not for me.
Foe the time being I still choose stock over this. I think CM9 needs to be a little more polished in the Music app. Its missing that "finished" feel lol

I agree. Seems to also slow the system down alot. I hope there are nicer transitions and smooothness added.

I've tried it on my S5830i but it didnt work, I did get it to work on S5830 though.
If it works the apps will automatically move to your sd-ext (therefore your first boot after applying it might take some time).
When I did it my screen got stuck on the rafael splash screen, didn't even reach the bootanimation...
Why don't you use the Link2SD app? I have more then 60 apps without having low memory.

You will be asked "Create link?" like in the attachment, click on OK.

FIRST MAKE A BACK-UP FROM ALL YOUR FILES ON YOUR SD CARD (and save it to your computer).
Place View attachment root.zip and View attachment GT-S5830i_CWM.zip on your SD card (after downloading).
1 Turn off your phone.
2 Press Volume up+Home+Power buttons for 6 seconds.
NOTE: Scroll down with volume down button, scroll up with volume up button, and select with home button.
3 Select apply update from SD.
You have root, don't you?
If not:
Select root.zip.
Go to step 4
4 Select GT-S5830i_CWM.zip.
5 Select yes.
6 Go to Advanced.
7 Select Partition SD card.
8 Select Ext size = 1 GB or 1024 MB (if you have a small SD card such as 2 GB or less (lol), I recommend 0.5 GB or 512 MB).
9 Select Swap size = 32 MB (for large SD cards such as 8 GB or more I recommend 64 MB or 128 MB).
10 Select Yes (I don't know it exactly).
11 Reboot your phone and try it again.
12 Select ext2 when asking for mount script.
13 Click thanks.
14 Close XDA-developers.
15 Go do something you like.

Seeing the screenshot, you should be able to install or link apps. Do you have very large apps (20>MB)?

link2sd recognizes only ext2 format sd-ext partition on stock rom/kernel but it works flawlessly. Try moving selected apps to sd card instead of linking them. You can also delete some unwanted apps from your /system partition to free internal space. Refer to a respective sticky thread by shankay about which apps to delete in 5830i development section

i have dark summoner (19mb) and a few apps at 40+... after flashing a new rom i found it works.. however it does still use memory, just not as much (sometimes)

Try wiping out Dalvik cache and cache after installing. You will be good. :angel:

It has been said alot of time that seeder doesn't boost benchmarks.It just reduces lags while opening apps and etc.
In the original topic they explained who this works,in old android versions Android gets some random data from dev/block
Seeder will reduce its interval to every 1 second, so device will be more responsible but sometimes this may cause hangs
unfortunately this won't work on new android versions(they didn't said which version of android ) cause this has been fixed on new versions

In iXperia rom games like sixguns are smooth but in minicm7 every 10 seconds game freezes for 1 or 2 second

I'm on cm 10.1.2 and is modded by pimp my rom tweaking tool
Cpu is @ 1.35 ghz and gpu is @ 512 mhz but still it lags
So changed the device name to note 1 (n7000) .now it have good graphics and is zero laggy

No need of it coz I only use cm rom for gaming (dual booted b/w stock 4.2.2 and cm 10.1.2) .so I don't install any apps on cm rom other than games and I have disabled vsync to attain maximum fps.., oom groupings at medium,cpu governer @ perfomance , entropy at 3096,etc... so perfomance wise my device with cm is a beast(though it lags on stock)

Probably works on every versions of android (4.0 and up) coz in this mod you're changing the identity of your device to galaxy s4 (GT-I9505),so the game thinks your device as s4 and give you acess to high end graphics

I'm on cm 10.2 too and it's working fine on my p3100.
try turning ur wifi off and then start the game.

Guys! Ive tested on almost all CM versions!! And games works fast on stock 4.1.2 with High GFX... For more graphic improvement try Pure Graphics Mod!!

Wooo are u joking but how it need any CF3D,Seeder etc or the Apk is Ported to ARMv6 ??? or simply Download official and play ???

I use seeder but this game required mobile data or Wifi to play
I test on my ported rom(JellyBread)

I don't know how much network must it required to play1game but I use 10MB NET TO PLAY.

When i started the game there were no player only names and the ball, sometimes there is only black screen sometimes the menu can be seen. I didn't try this with cf3d maybe it will work dunno.
hi, im using your jellybread 5.1 and im very happy with it. but i bow you will for sure update it so i wwant to tell u what i think u should add. first, lockscreen like in stock nexus for, cyrcle with dots when is pressed, pureperformanceX coz im using it whit that mod and its so fast i cant believe and if is possible more cyanogen settings

I've tried installing the 5.1 a few times (with stock firmware between) but I get one bug.
Terminal Emulator always crash as soon as I start it.. "The application Terminal Emulator (process jackpal.androidterm) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. [Force Close]"
Only suggestion for improvement I can recall at the moment is the center-aligning of the alarm-clock text on lock screen. (When center alignment option is enabled).
Other than that the rom works perfectly and it's by far my favourite, keep up the good work.
Is there a camera fix that enables flash for optimus nexus rom, the one from cm7.2 thread doesnt work here.

jut wanna double check you did flash the right thing though, IF Yes ignore my post please.
Flash on camera: As far as I know, I've investiagted about it, and samsung used a weird interface to work with the flash on camera in stock rom. there is not a dedicated folder for that led, so i don't know yet how to implemetn it on CM7 camera app. THERE IS A FIX ON 3rd POST.
Thats the one except i didnt mount /system it was already mounted in cwm, should i unmount then remount and flash again, will that help, there was no errors the first time.
