Study Extended Packaging and QR Codes - LG Optimus 2x

Dear awesome P990 community,
I am following this community since I have gotten my own LG optimus speed/2x. The awesome work of tonyp, pengus77 and other great developers really got our phone on the edge of android innovation.
I thought, because this here is such an awesome community, I may ask for some help on my research
Over the time, I noticed that many of you are actually from Germany. Therefore I am asking for some help on a study I am doing about the use of QR Codes. The study takes around 10 minutes and is only available in german.
Every participant has the chance to win a 50€ amazon gift card.:highfive:

THANKYOU To All The Chefs!!

I Dunno if this deserves a thread or not,
but it struck me today that we (Rhodium Users) have been getting some really excellent ROMS just recently from all the Chefs who gracefully share their hours of hard work along with all the beta testers who allow their devices to used and put in meaningful bug lists so that the majority can experience something a little better that HTC originally offered.
Maybe someone can put it better than me but i just wanted to say a Massive Thankyou to everyone who actively contributes to ROM development on our devices but especially to the Chefs who put all the research fixes and Often cutting edge software together to make some astounding ROMs ready for us all to use.
I'm sure we all thank the chefs individually at least i hope so! and please DONT turn this thread into a "who's is the best ROM" cos that sucks.
But what ever your preference in build or manila flavour or chef, I invite you to join me in a collective thread of appreciation for our Windows Mobile ROM Development Forum and all who contribute to it so abundantly.
Thanks!
To all u wonderful chefs my hats off to u!thanks a bunch and keep up the good work!
Yep this is a well deserving thread, cause with out you guy's (the Cooks) we would all just be conformists leading simplistic lives
Thank you
A big thank you once again for all the hard work it is very much appreciated. Our devices would not be as great without the effort these guys put into cooking ROMs for a bunch of whiners and complainers but they continue and put up with it. My hats off to all of them.
yupp a big thanks to all of the chefs for all their hard work and excellent and unique roms thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you...i love u guys and gals
Not to be a party pooper or anything, but I think a small donation (a dollar or two at least) will please the Chefs quite a lot.
If each one donated a dollar to his favorite chef of the rhodium community, he/she would appreciate it a lot. I know many GREAT CHEFS, who's names will stay anonymous) have stopped developing roms just because they weren't getting anything back in return (they were devoting their time to developing, THEY DO HAVE OTHER WORK TO DO AS WELL). They are not asking much. Its only a small donation.
What is a dollar/month compared to what they have given us.
Oh and, Thank you CHEFS

Well said my friend! Donate indeed not only to the chefs but to xda as well!
I'm pleased to see such response off thanks to our good chefs, as you say i know members have stopped developing roms due to lack of appreciation and by starting this thread i hoped to counteract that a little

[L3] [CM10] Preparing a team for porting CM10 to the LG L3!

Hello,
First of all, I don't own the LG L3, but I saw it has a fairly good CM9 Rom.
Now I saw someone tried to port over CM10 to the L3 before, but he vanished from his project.
Second, I will only help out in the porting process if there is enough interest in this project.
If you have experience with Android porting, the Linux kernel and Android & Kernel Debugging also some C programming experience could be helpful but is not necessary to join this project. please leave a message in my PM box.
When you sent a PM please mention the experience you have, with or Android or Kernel as this can be helpful in creating the team.
If you don't have any experience in the above mentioned subjects, please just leave a replay message with a comment if you are interested in seeing CM10 on the LG L3.

First of all thank you for showing interest in doing something for us - there are many who can't post here due to 10 post restrictions and many more who don't even have an account yet watch things from outside very closely, so on behalf of entire l3 community I'd like request you to carry on with this initiative.
Though some of us belong to the so called 'noob' category we can help with testing and logging if required
Once again thank you sir

NEW DUDE

Hi, I'm a long time viewer of the site and have very much appreciated all the help you guys have gave me over the years. I decided it's time that I register and maybe contribute when and where I can. I've been playing with a Moto g9 Power for the past few months and have definitely learned and came up with some things that I feel will help most my fellow Power'ers out. I look forward to see you all in the threads.
Great to have you as an official XDA member! Enjoy the forums! Go Moto!!

Hello!

Hello! My name's Piergiorgio and I'm from Italy. I've been lurking on this website for a pretty long time, mainly for help on how to work with custom roms and recoveries. I decided to register because I am becoming a little more curious about this world. I'd like to thank you all for the help this website is giving to all the Android developers and enthusiasts.

Hello from France

Hi everyone,
My name is Seb but you can call me Poneyh!
I know about XDA for quite a long time (I was using Cyanogen ROMs few years ago) and grow tired of using the stock ROM on my Poco F3 so I came back on the forum to improve the UX with my phone thanks to all the amazing projects we can find here.
I'm a software engineer mostly developing C++ desktop application but I'm always interested in learning new languages and platforms. The open source world attracts me so I hope I might be able to contribute to some interesting projects one day.
Best regards,
Poneyh
Welcome to the xda family.
Cheers.
