When I record video the is a high pitch sound, in stock, or in CM 11 I still get the high pitch noise. I did notice that in cm if I change to sound encoder to amrnb no noise but not as good audio recording quality as in aac. Has anyone else had this problem and can it be fix or is it something to do with my hardware.

Sound quality is good when recorded in a quite place. But if it is recorded in a noisy environment (like a live band), the sound quality becomes garbled. Friend of mine told me that there's a noise reduction. I have no idea how to turn it off.

I've noticed that at some point between Android versions from 2015 until now... my recording of videos has changed. I have videos saved, which I was right in front of speakers at shows and my Shamu recorded the video / audio well and minimized the bass and volume distortion . Now, I just noticed that recording in loud concert areas leads to VERY distorted audio ( sounds just like when I used to overload my Nexus 4 with bass back in 2012. RIP, Nexy :crying: ) while my girl's dumb iPhone recorded the same show without Muddy, bass overload.
Did something fundamentally change from Android versions 6 - 7.1.2 ( when I think I noticed my videos had awful , distorted audio.) that affected how one can record Loud audio?
Actually I am having some audio recording and audio in video recording quality issue. It seems to be that the real sound is trying to noise cancel. I think this is for aggressive noise cancellation. But I can't fix this. Even I rooted and changed to many rooms but all are same. Is there really no fix for this issue? At first the audio is clear for 1 or 2 seconds but after that the noise cancelling starts.
