Access Gear camera remotely from phone - Samsung Galaxy Gear

I just downloaded Camera Remote to my AT&T Galaxy S4 and my Galaxy Gear running Null19 and it works via bluetooth. Doesn't run full speed but it does do video and takes decent stills

Any way to get it working with stock ROM?

Why?
Its a well known application (not widget) that works as a media server on the PS3 or Windows 7 libraries. Seemed obvious to me bc its a highly touted feature of the Galaxy S phones by Samsung so I feel like a separate thread isn't necessary. Just my opinion
but for some reason allshare does not run in the background which is the one bad thing that means i cant go on the internet and use it at the same time not sure about the Droid X DLNA app
allshare is horrible for upnp and dlna from the receiving end it wont decode correctly until I use minidlna

[Q] Anybody has tried hulu plus app on CM9?

Even though It works on TP, it said 'not supported device' and can't play video. Anybody has an idea how to fix it?

There is a hacked hulu apk out there, that works on almost all android devices. Google it and you'll find it pretty easily. Mind you it is the phone version so you need to rotate to portrait to browse.

You can edit build.prop to emulate a supported device.

[Q] Remote control app for Galaxy Camera?

I have the Samsung Galaxy Camera and a Samsung Galaxy Note as well as a Nexus 7 tablet.
Is there an app I can use on both the Note and Nexus 7 that will let me take pictures with the Camera via remote control?
It would be nice to be able to view what the camera lens see on the Note or N7's screen and be able to click a button to snap a picture.
I haven't tried it personally, but shouldn't apps like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.im.RemoDroid work?
Basic idea being that remotely viewing and controlling the screen should do what you desire?

Any news?
I'd like to use a remote app, but nothing in the playstore satisfied me.
I think we have to wait, there are two apps which should work in the near future.
1. Samsung Remoteviefinder
2. Samsung Smart Camera App
For the time being i'm using teamviewer remote, it works best. None of the vnc tools works flawlessly.

It wouldn't do you any good even with those apk's. They all require Samsung framework in order to work .
There are 3rd party TV remote apps that work quite well though.

Install Astro on the tab, backup the apps to apk files, copy these apk files to your Nexus 7 and install.
Ive just seen the above reply. Never mind.

I can't post links yet, so you'll have to work with me here...
It's called Smart TV Remote Tab by adiroid.
Thanks for recommending my app. I already wanted to present my apps here, but I am still waiting for my 10th post in order to post links

Screen mirroring lag so much-galaxy s3

Hi guys, i have a galaxy s3 with archidroid, and i've just buy a chromecast. Play music and YouTube run smooth but when i try to do the screen mirroring it lags so much, even the phone lags, and i dont know why. I have a 20 mbps connection, and the device is just 2 meters from router...i see that device like nex 5 runs very smooth, there are something i can do?

Not really since your device isn't supported for mirroring. I'm guessing you're using the mirror app. The S3's hardware specs are dated and can't provide the full performance needed to mirror without issues. I have a LGG3 which is a supported device but even I get a bit of lag and watching an entire program even if the phone is next to the router is never stutter free.

No issues here with my S3, might be an issue because the international S3 has specs that are not identical to the US S3

Really? What specs are different? It is possible that it is the ROM?

Actually i have only 1gb RAM...only gs3 neo gas 1.5gb...maybe it can be the ROM, but i have archidroid 2.5.3 that native support mirroring, so it can be the phone that is too old...but in some weeks i can be able to get a LG g2, that is ufficilaly supported by chromecast, so i shouldnt have problem

Ah, even less wow. It's very possible it's the rom or just the phone itself
From my CM11 S3
Age is probably one factor but Rom and the amount of crap you have running in the background will also affect performance.
