I have just installed the cm-11-20131226-UNOFFICIAL-p990 custom rom on my LG P990
what is running great. But I have some notice what I would like to share.
First of all the camera is blinking and sometimes goes to upside down when moves fast the screen.
There are two phone icon in the settings menu.
And how can I setup the button lights to change the its colors how I setup that ?
These are things what I noticed about this rom.
Can somebody help me with a gapps install to fix these problems?
I hope I have written in the right forum about this.

Hey there, the camera problem is a known one and at the moment is not solved. About leds, i do believe our device has only white ones, so we can't change the colors. Only possible change is brightness, that can be changed in kowalski manager. The ROM has gapps included, so if you need more, use playstore.

I didn't know that for hundred percent this phone has just white light.
I can live without that.
So we must wait for the camera fixing.
Sorry I mean the gapps these problems fixing.
Or its just solve with a newer installation, not just a smaller file what is fixing these problem/s/?

It's not the gapps that cause this problem. We've just to wait for pengus to fix that. Pay attention, that kowalski kernel is in alpha state, so such problems are not surprise.

since i am a n00b i can't post this in its correct thread =(
I am using [CM9][UNOFFICIAL][APR10] Owain's UNOFFICIAL BUILD RC0-37 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1517301
and since i have installed last build, RC0-37 i am observing that the navbar clock just randomly stops and i have to reboot to make it work again...
i can't see anybody else with that problem in its original thread, so i don't know what it happens and how to fix it.

Never had this problem, did you change any settings that change the behaviour of the clock (AM/PM - 24/12)? If you didn´t, try to flash the ROM again, it only takes a few minutes...

I haven't change any settings from the clock, also i have no other app that could modify it...
anyway, seems that the clock works well now... also, downloading RC0-39 =)

I`m gonna upload it in a few minutes, it`s not force closeing, but there is a bug, so will need to fix that first.

When unlocking, the screen is black and it switches to pin. Most probably some permission problem.

Didn`t managed to solve the blackscreen. You can choose the Face Unlock option. It will detect your face.
Problems after installing this:
-Camera app will dissapear (solved by reinstalling the rom)
-Maybe some google apps will dissapear too (solved by reinstalling gapps, but most probably the face unlock will dissapear)
During script modification, had a problem, that when the wifi is off, when starting camera it says "Can`t connect to the camera", also Face Unlock wont start. When wifi is enabled, then the camera is working fine, but face unlock is force closeing.
Luckily i`ve saved this partially working version. Maybe somebody will manage to make it work completely
Hi Tonyp i'm writing you here since i cant post to officiale thread.
I installed your p990 rom "TheRom" (really good job btw) and noticed a bug in the status bar, while downloading something it keep refreshing each time the system update the remaining download time and size, like a blink effect. I read that someone else got this problem too.
Dont know if you can be interested in this.
Using your last rom (23) old bootloader.

sorry i said 23 but i'm using the 25 that as i know is the latest for the old bootload, i'll wait for a conversion of the 26 and let you know if it got fixed
I have this too (using build 23). I found that you can "fix" this by disabling holo (move the holo dot into the trash bin).

are you using the new bootloader version of the rom? exactly what is the difference between the two loaders?

Hi Guys,
I need your help, I am using LG optimus 2x from long time. I have not made any changes in the phone. However these days I see that phone is not smooth at all it lags a lot when ever I play games or browse or do anything even to make it call or message it gets stuck. I have not updagrade the andriod it has 2.3.4 version, I have kernel version of 2.6.32.9, I have Internal SD card Avalible Space of 2.91gb and Ineternal Storage of 1.03 gb Free. still I find this phone getting stuck when ever i make a call, message or use any apps. The other problem I am facing is when ever I restart the phone all my deleted picture, videos comes back to my gallery.
Please help wat can be done for this are there any changes in software I can do if so please guide me

Everything looks amazing but I noticed my soft home button doesn't work AT ALL, camera button isn't working either, I cant see the lock screen as other versions, can't open Google Play app and can't synchronize my Google account so I don't have access to my phone contacts
Have someone else happened (and fixed) this problems??

i had every possible rom for this device (910d right now) and never had button problems
did you follow http://www.mrmuh.com/2012/01/update-a-motorola-milestone-from-motorola-firmware-to-cyanogenmod-7/ ?
if not use this guide replace cm7 with cm9.1.0d
100% working
I fixed the problem already but forgot to erase this trend... the problem was after wipe I installed CM9 and Gapps together and got that problem... after wiping all again I installed CM9 rebooted and installed Gapps and worked fine.
Still have no idea what that bug ever happened but i fixed :laugh:
But I changed CM9 to CM7 cause my battery was dropping from 100 to 0 in 4 hours, not good if I'm too much time out of home. Thanks anyway for your interest

Hello, @IGGYVIP I'm having problems with my A853 again, installed the CM7 as always but now i can't get through the MOTOROLA logo... can't make the phone to wake up, and I was looking for the tutorial you mentioned (same I used before) but seems MrMuh's webside is out.
by any case, do you have that tutorial? I wanna start from the ground and reinstall the 2ndboot and the CM7 ... or maybe you have a better solution

Awesome kernel with a lot of options and some presets Standard, Battery Saving, Perfomace, etc..
Most of the time when I need good performance I load the "Power" preset within the Boeffla-Configuration App, the tablet runs really smooth without compromising the battery, or u can try u r on settings like oc to 1600Mhz, etc.

My N8000 has been so laggy these last weeks that even going back from apps list to the home screen could easily take 30 seconds, and even cause it to reboot.
I prefer to have it usable under KK rather than up to date (LP, MM) and useless.

U will have to go back to a stock rom.
1.- Go to sammobile and download a stock 4.4.2 rom for this tablet, u can download the same base this rom is made of ( N8000XXUDPB1 for Luxembourg ).
2.- Then root, flash a custom recovery (I recommend Philztouch), make a full nandroid backup just in case.
3.- Flash this rom.
That's it.

thanks dude. but i still have the issue after flashing the kernel. i just thought that if i flash a custom kernel it will solve my tab issue.
my problem with my tab is it only stays at 0% even i replaced battery 3 times..
and flashed stock rom and custom roms
tried different charger also.. and still 0%
i dont know what else i can do (
