That image with Halo is false advertising lol
Also, cj360 has builds for our family:
http://www.drdevs.com/devs/?dir=cj360/Aospa-remix
UPDATE: Halo is dead. Also TabletUI is impossible due to 4.4 code, and there is no PIE as of 2/23/2014. A lot of features are missing compared to 4.3 PA, so be advised, flash addicts.

Lol true but the ROM is still in beta. And I didn't knew he build one for us...my next project I am working on is omni ROM. It just sucks that Ubuntu does not run well on some APUs

Here the good news is that you finely did it bro. Great to see more users learning the long run which is developing. Great job.

Haha I've also been looking into setting up a build environment for Omni since cj360 has PA covered already, but it's a lot to learn for setting up the manifests and device trees. Great job on getting a working build BTW!

Yeah I have everything set up. I already I did a quick build which it runs like butter but radio is not working so I got to wait and see if I can fix the PA lightbulb app before I start again with omni ROM ...its just hard with my system right now as I had to buy a budget PC because so low life broke into my house a few days before the holidays

Sweet, thanks for the rom man, I installed it works very smooth but maybe I missed something there is no paranoid preferences at all

It's true he does have builds up, but I just flashed his and the screen doesn't work whatsoever. It showed the initial choose language screen but I couldn't tap anything. The power button was the only thing that worked.

Welcome to FactoryROM AOSP Project:Sweet. Due to the fact that the BETA
version of FactoryROM was so successful, I went ahead and compiled some
finishing touches to the ROM, and out popped one smooth, SWEET, product. Now
that I have the base where I want it, I can slowly implement enhancements as
they become available. I have added the GooManager ROM update feature and
plan on releasing updates for FactoryROM every Sunday (or unless needed sooner
for bug fixes). As always, your input in this project is fundamental, and any
suggestions are always welcome.
I am currently looking for product testers.. If you are interested, please PM me
and we will speak in further detail as to what I am looking for.

Much, much, more.....
This is JUST THE START of a project that I have been working on. Basically I have a
very stable base with a great set of options to customize the phone to your personal
preference. I want to thank all of the hard working teams such as AOKP, CM,
EOS, Codename, and all of their dedicated members for making this ROM possible. Most
of the Android development I have done in the past has consisted of device ports and this
is my first real go at a AOSP source based ROM. I take NO CREDIT for any of the
functionality which is included in the ROM. I simply merged the existing source code to
produce a work of art. The next step for FactoryROM is to include some of my own
settings and options, but first things first...

Most of the stock apps are already inverted, but I'm sure the inverted GAPPS will work just fine.
On a side note, how is everything running for everyone? Is it smooth enough? I don't have a Nexus S, so I can't test it personally... Keep me updated..

Cherry pick list
* CyanogenMod's latest merges: http://review.cyanogenmod.org/#/q/status:merged+branch:cm-12.1,n,z
* CyanogenMod's Github: http://github.com/cyanogenmod
This is a kang of CM12 with cherry picks from CyanogenMod’s Gerrit Instance, compiled by a group of volunteers that enjoy learning about and building CyanogenMod and Android in general. All credit goes to cyanogen, #teamdouche and the coders who submit to Gerrit. Thank you to @RyanMacG for providing Euroskank hosting.
These builds are bleeding-edge, most comparable to a nightly build, and are not meant for inexperienced users. Things will be broken and crash from time to time, you need to accept that this isn't stable by any means before flashing. Nandroid as often as possible.
How to post useful, informative bug reports:
Sometimes dev's actually check out our threads, or sometimes we have a good relationship with a dev or two. These bleeding-edge builds will have issues, and having good information on what's broken is great feedback before a feature is merged. Here are some good bug reporting tips:
* No bug reports while using custom kernels or add-ons:
CyangenMod's own bug reporting tool does not accept bug reports from people using non-stock kernels for a reason, so why should we? CM can merge changes to their kernel causing custom kernels to break things until they catch up. Therefore, please do not post any bug reports while using a custom kernel or add-on such as Xposed Framework. Post your issues with custom kernels in their own respective threads as they are the ones who need to play catch up. Any bug report posted in this thread should be while running CM's stock framework and kernel, as this prevents unnecessary clutter.
* Gapps are not a CM issue:
CyanogenMod is built to run without the assistance of Google's proprietary apps (gapps). Having issues with your Google account and syncing is a gapps issue, not a CM issue. Please do not post about any gapps related issues, just wipe data and try a different gapps package.
* Posting about the same bug every build:
Beating a dead horse with "bug X still isn't fixed" posts just adds unnecessary clutter and provides no help into actually fixing the issue. Some bugs take days to squash, some take weeks. Please don't report the same bug every time a build is uploaded.
* Logs:
Provide logcats when applicable. Use a service like Pastebin and put a link to the log in the post. Please do not post logs directly to the forum.
If these requests are too demanding, there's good news! CyanogenMod is open source, so please feel free to download the source code, compile your own builds volunteering your time and resources, then start a thread and run it however you see fit. All we simply ask is that people post good, reliable information that can be passed on to a developer that can actually do something with it, making CM a better product for everyone involved.

If I could sum it up, it is a smoother, less battery intensive, and more reliable version of PAC. Besides performing better and being more stable all around than the PAC nightlies we have ATM, it is the same ROM. I'd have to say it is one of the best ROMs I've ever flashed besides maybe HoloBlur or BeanStalk
I am quite happy we're getting some official support on this beast!

You will notice the difference in a heartbeat. But yes is base on Pacman source just a much better and much stable rom with more stuff to play with and the animations are insane

What kind of animations? And what extra stuff does this ROM have that PAC doesn't?
Sent from my MB886 using xda app-developers app
Well if you like the rom you should be excite it because now probam is an official build for our devices and not a port. On top of it we have now a thread for support something we didn't had before. I was the first person to try probam when it was ported by Tim and this is thw best news for me since im in love with the rom now officially supported for our devices

I love this ROM too just patiently waiting for an update.

And everyone should just, open that link to check
Alright, vanir WWJB kernel uploaded
Okay nice Will test it soon And like always the question. Are the Vanir things in german too?
Anyone else red edges/bars around screen while process/phone freeze?
Great to see a new Rom, especially with such good features. Great work.
Just one question, what device tree are you using?
Can't find it on vanir github.

Rom sounds nice. Just flashed it. Seems very smooth (smoothest ive ever seen on this phone)
Bug report:
- First time i installed the rom, i couldnt do anything. It just freezed and rebooted after 1-2 minutes.
- Now it works, but the hardware buttons have heavy problems. (sometimes they work, sometimes they say just: nah, i dont like you)
- Browser crashes
- sometimes when i click in the settings menu the "battery" button i get a red rectangle for a second or so
I'm really asking myself why HALO 2.0 isn't implemented in other ROMs as well, because this is the only ROM which isn't slowed down by halo in general (my experience)
And it is indeed blazing fast
Good job @laufersteppenwolf

sry, you need to add "persist.sys.strictmode.disable=1" at the end of build.prop...
this always happens when i compile -eng...

you can't find it on vanir, as it's an unofficial port

note: i can't do much about bugs, as it's a pure port. to actually "fight" bugs, i would have to make it official (to be "allowed" to change sources). But as long as it's inside the device tree, i will look at it for sure
also, this is a pretty early build. the devs are still heavily working on it. so it's most likely a general bug, and will be solved soon
Without any doubt one of the fastest ROM i ever tried !
I don't know about battery for the moment but I'm going to test.
I also have these red lines on the border of my screen but I'm going to add the line to the build.prop

Edit : I added the line but it didn't change anything I still have these red lines.
Also it seems that the Transparency settings are not working

Fantastic, Carbon was my favorite rom for the Optimus G. So far running very smoothly, not a single lag. Will HALO be implemented eventually?
