CM7 is best yeah i know.. but tell me one thing. i found issue with CM7 on my samsung galaxy mini.. i can't use my mobile mess storage by connecting to pc :'(.. every time when i TURN ON USB STORAGE phone gets restart.. plz help me someone..

yh i have just upgraded my phone to 2.3.4 gingerbread
through odin
i rooted my phone and then shifted all apps to sd using link2sd
i got many cunfusions in my mind towards android plz do help me
i upgraded my pone using 1 file method for 2.3.4 is it ok?
because in the tutorial its many file method....

That's not a custom ROM, just a modfied boot.img plus some apps and scripts. It has one bug : WiFi will not work.

Do you have STOCK FIRMWARE for your region ? Find out it from here... or from here...
Do you have Odin? Find out it from here...
Need SplitFUS or splitted odin ready firmware (for India only) ?
Do you have ClockWorkMod Recover (CWM) ? Get it from here...
Do you Backup your Contacts, Apps & Messages or A Full Backup?
Backup your IMEI with Galaxy Toolbox (Root Needed)
All the above tools are ready? Then Read ROM Flashing Instructions carefully...

Need Splitted Odin Ready Stock Firmware? Download it from here...
Always back to Stock firmware via odin before installing any Custom ROM. This will avoid freezing at boot logo.
You have to download the ROM zip file and ClockWorkRec5830i.zip.
Copy it to your phone's SD Card.
Turn off your phone
Go to recovery mode (Stock Recovery 3e) (Home screen button + Power button + Volume up key)
Select install update from sd and select the ClockWorkRec5830i.zip Confirm the action
Now you are successfully installed ClockWork Recovery
We appreciate to BACKUP your Current ROM before moving to next step
Select wipe data / reset and Confirm the action
Select wipe cache partition and Confirm the action
Select install zip from sd and select the rom zip file & Confirm the action

Known Bugs / To do / Tips:
Need to fix some more Black on Black Text.
No Battery Icon on First Boot? Open Settings >> AceJB Settings >> Battery Icon Themes. And apply any of the 21 battery icon styles
Tip: You can reduce Key Height for Keyboard. Open Settings >> Locale and text >> Android Keyboard >> Layout >> Vertical layout & Set Key height to 80-90.

Is it safe to use CM kernels with this rom? There are plenty newbies who will try this CM specific kernels and probably a bootloop or softbrick may happen.

Ivchek port Nemezis Phoenix. DialerTabActiviti - his apk. Also that rom [aceJB] have bug, for example, it brightness slide, not in SB, but in settings. It is bug from ivchek's port

Apply this patch via CWM.

How to install Stock Firmware?
Be Careful while Flashing via Odin!
Do not turnoff / Remove USB Cable while flashing.
Flash Correct Firmware File; otherwise your device may become HARD BRICK means DEAD!
Read Flashing Instructions Carefully.
What I need?
A PC or Laptop with Windows Operating System.
Usb Cable for Galaxy Pocket.
Odin for Galaxy Pocket Odin_Galaxy_Pocket.zip (Google Drive, 200 KB)
S5300.pit file for Odin
Stock Firmware for your region.
Firmware archive for GT-S5300
Or Get it from this website.
Samsung Drivers for PC. Setup for Compiled Driver Disk (Samsung).exe (Dev-Host, 12.5 MB)
Step-by-Step Instuctions:-
Install Samsung Drivers.
Extract Stock firmware zip file to get the .tar.md5 file named like "S5300DDLI1........"
Extract "Odin_Galaxy_Pocket.zip" with WinRar, 7Zip or Windows zip file utility.
Power off your Phone.
Get into "Download mode" by pressing Volume (-) + Home + Power Keys.
Open Odin_Galaxy_Pocket.exe
Connect your phone to pc via USB cable.
Make sure that your phone is detected in "ID:COM" area.
Step:1 - Press "PDA" button and choose the one package firmware file xxxx.tar.md5
Step:2 - Press "Start" button under Execution.
Wait for some time... The flashing may take about 4 min - 5 min. The Phone will be auto rebooted after successfull flashing.
If flashing does not start, Press "Pit File" button and choose S5300.pit file along with the Odin for Galaxy Pocket.
Remove the USB Cable.
If you are facing boot loop after flashing completed on Odin, you have to go to Stock Recovery (Volume(+) + Home + Power Key combination) and select wipe data/factory reset.
How to install ClockworkMod Recovery? (Temp)
Download and Copy CWM-GT-S5300.Cori.zip (Google Drive, 1.17 MB) to Internal Memory
Power off your Galaxy Pocket
Get into recovery mode by pressing Volume(+) + Home + Power Keys.
Choose "apply update from sdcard"
Select "CWM-GT-S5300.Cori.zip" and confirm the action.
Reboot system now
Again go to recovery mode by pressing Volume(+) + Home + Power Keys.
Now you are successfully installed CWM!
Want to Remove unnecessary stock apps? Wan't to install extra Fonts? Copy and Replace System apps?
For that you need to ROOT your Phone.
Remember, Rooting will void your warranty. So If you are on warranty period, Don't do it!
How to ROOT your Galaxy Pocket?
Download and Copy Root_Cori.zip (Google Drive, 2.15 MB) to Internal Memory.
Power off your Galaxy Pocket.
Get into recovery mode by pressing Volume(+) + Home + Power Keys.
Install CWM-GT-S5300.Cori.zip and you are now in CWM
Choose "install zip from sdcard"
Select "Root_Cori.zip" and confirm the action.
Reboot system now.
Now your Phone is Rooted!, Enjoy Modding!
Use App Master Tool from Play Store to Remove system apps, (Be carefull while selecting system apps. Some apps are essential for the system, double check before removing them)
Use Root Browser Free or Rhythm File Manager for best root file access.

#INSTALLATION
1. Flash a stock ROM, installation will be cleaner.
2. Download The EXT4 tool from link section , and this ROM on your device.
3. Flash on Samsung recovery (or your recovery if you are not on stock), this temp. CWM (by bieltv.3)
4. When you are on the Temp. CWM, flash the EXT4 Formatter tool, so whole system will be converted to EXT4. (stock file system is in RFS)
5. After installation completed go to the CWM, Wipe data, cache and dalvik cache.
6. (IMPORTANT) Go to mounts and storage, and make sure system is mounted (will show unmounted) mount it 2 times!
7. Go to install zip from SD Card, choose Rom zip from SD card and install this ROM.
(MAKE SURE installation last more than 5 seconds, if is less than 5 seconds, your system is unmounted! repeat step 6).
8. After installation, go back and reboot system,
if you made it good, ROM boots, so no problem on it.

How to install Stock Firmware?
Be Careful while Flashing via Odin!
Do not turnoff / Remove USB Cable while flashing.
Flash Correct Firmware File; otherwise your device may become HARD BRICK means DEAD!
Read Flashing Instructions Carefully.
What I need?
A PC or Laptop with Windows Operating System.
Usb Cable for Galaxy Y Duos.
Odin for Galaxy Y Duos Odin3 for Galaxy Y Torino.zip (Dev-Host, 346 KB)
torino.pit file for Odin (Check inside the above zip)
Stock Firmware for your region.
Firmware archive for GT-S6102
Samsung Drivers for PC. Setup for Compiled Driver Disk (Samsung).exe (Dev-Host, 12.5 MB)
Step-by-Step Instuctions:-
Install Samsung Drivers.
Extract Stock firmware zip file to get the .tar.md5 file named like "S6102........"
Extract "Odin3 for Galaxy Y Torino.zip" with WinRar, 7Zip or Windows zip file utility.
Power off your Phone.
Get into "Download mode" by pressing Volume (-) + Home + Power Keys.
Open Odin3.v3.07.Torino.exe
Connect your phone to pc via USB cable.
Make sure that your phone is detected in "ID:COM" area.
Step:1 - Press "Pit File" button and choose torino.pit file along with the Odin for Galaxy Y Duos.
Step:2 - Press "PDA" button and choose the one package firmware file xxxx.tar.md5
Step:3 - Press "Start" button under Execution.
Wait for some time... The flashing may take about 4 min - 5 min. The Phone will be auto rebooted after successful flashing.
Remove the USB Cable.
If you are facing boot loop after flashing completed on Odin, you have to go to Stock Recovery (Volume(+) + Home + Power Key combination) and select wipe data/factory reset.
How to install ClockworkMod Recovery? (Temp)
Download and Copy CWM-GT-S6102.Torino.zip (Dev-Host, 1.34 MB) to SD Card
Power off your Galaxy Y Duos
Get into recovery mode by pressing Volume(+) + Home + Power Keys.
Choose "apply update from sdcard"
Select "CWM-GT-S6102.Torino.zip" and confirm the action.
Now you are successfully entered to Temporary CWM! Remember, you need to install this temp.recovery each and every time you install a ROM or Update Zip.
Want to Remove unnecessary stock apps? Wan't to install extra Fonts? Copy and Replace System apps?
For that you need to ROOT your Phone.
Remember, Rooting will void your warranty. So If you are on warranty period, Don't do it!
How to ROOT your Galaxy Y Duos?
Download and Copy Root.GT-S6102.Torino.zip (Dev-Host, 1.30 MB) to SD Card.
Power off your Galaxy Y Duos.
Get into recovery mode by pressing Volume(+) + Home + Power Keys.
Install CWM-GT-S6102.Torino.zip and you are now in CWM
Choose "install zip from sdcard"
Select "Root.GT-S6102.Torino.zip" and confirm the action.
Reboot system now.
Now your Phone is Rooted!, Enjoy Modding!
Use App Master Tool from Play Store to Remove system apps, (Be carefull while selecting system apps. Some apps are essential for the system, double check before removing them)
Use Root Browser Free or Rhythm File Manager for best root file access.

My frnds GT S6102 has a prob .. whn trying to apply zip from sdcard it says
E Cant mount SDcard
I have:
1.Flashed Stock rom using Odin
2.Flashed iDuos Kernel using Odin
3.Changed Memory card
But NOTHING
Is there any CWM that is flashable with ODIN??
or any other method to get this problem fixed??
