I have noticed in TWRP that if you have wiped system (which I always do) you have to go to Mount and un-tick the box next to system and it should flash for you.

Hmm, I didn't notice that, in my previous builds it was running lower, this would come from dr87 as these are his defaults. I will look into it.

I am trying to help them out as the devs are working on all of the others they build for. As soon as I can get a few more things fixed I think they will put up an Official post.

Seems to be running warm. But loving this ROM so far

OP is updated with a build that doesn't need you to unmount system.
In looking at the OV issue, I found one of the "features" that dr87 added to v3 of his kernel
- Update CPU voltages to one stock table - this could be no change, +25 or +50 depending on what your chip is binned. This may help sod's and reboots on AOSP.

If you guys encounter any bugs other than these please let me know. Logcats are helpful as well as doing complete wipes. Dirty flashes equals no support.
Once builds get going I may do nightly builds. Enjoy the unicorn porn gentlemen.

@skeevydude
I am getting a hot reboot on any lockscreen widget related activity. you can unlock fine but you cannot swipe, expand etc any widgets. I am trying to get a logcat, but USB debugging doesn't seem to be working. The option is checked, and I am using the Motorola data cable and have tried 3 different ports on my pc. it won't connect adb. my phone doesn't seem to go into USB debugging mode.
Also wifi and signal bars stay gray all the time, even when fully connected to google services.
Ideas?

@skeevydude, @EcHoFiiVe
Another bug - the market says no connection, retry.
Im thinking that one is related to the bars not turning blue, it doesn't think it's connected to Googles servers or something.
Battery draw on this ROM with kernel turned up and interactive governor is 19 mA according to Current Power Widget. Hopefully some kernel tweaking can get that number down in the future for battery savings. of course reducing voltages and stuff would help as well.

I'm looking into it. From what I see most bases are cm. Then devs modify the source and make it their own so I will for sure look into beanstalk

I believe beanstalk is cm based actually. It just has a lot of features other cm based roms don't.

ROM is running pretty smoothly no complaints there...my question is in regards to LTE functionality. i followed the same steps i take on AOSP roms to activate the LTE feature, most things appear but I cannot actually get an LTE signal to lock on. Have you tested this with the latest LTE settings?
I enabled LTE via build.prop, created LTE APN, changed network provider, and a few other steps just to verify. Still nothing seems to trigger the LTE.
Any suggestions or comments?
Thanks

In all honesty I don't have LTE in my area unfortunately so I can't test it myself. I do know that cm 10 source comes with the LTE apns so I am looking to get them working on this AOKP build. If anyone else that is near an LTE area with coverage can test this and report back their results would be much appreciated

Thanks mar5hal I would be glad to test anything for you as I am in Atlanta, with good LTE signal here. I will attempt to reconfigure the LTE once again for testing, maybe I missed a step the first go round. I to look forward to seeing other peoples results with using LTE on this rom.
Thanks

I agree. But my point is you asked to base it off beanstalk instead of cm, but beanstalk is a cm base. I don't believe mar5hal is going to make another beanstalk rom. But he may pull some stuff from it. Between beanstalk, carbon, and many others, he has plenty of options to pull. It will be good either way.

I don't have LTE so can't test but also remember to have a nandroid backup too for safety.
see Y'all on the (Kick)Flip side
Sorry for that slow moving process everyone. I am still new to a lot of this and its been a tedious adventure. I am planning on having an updated build in the near future including sources from paranoid android, cm as well as slim ROMs. Stay tuned and thanks for stopping by
Sent from my [AOKFP] Nexus 4
Take your time and get it right mate, we don't need an updated ROM as often as some other ROMs are. By having this period of no updates our phones and ROM bond and get to function in harmony.

Dont rush the updates mate! Better a good one then an update every day!

How is the battery life on it? I've been running an earlier version of CM11 from December and I have decent, if not OK battery. I'm at 70% after being off charger for 5 hours or so.

Not that great really. About 5% an hour. Maybe I need to try the stock kernel.
Smooth!
Very nice rom. Good selection of settings and features and runs well. The modified kernel gave me a few reboots and a black screen in my pocket, no issues with the stock kernel when I reflashed back.

found the source of this.
if the charging animation is enabled for the circular battery icon it causes a crash of com.android.systemUI, which renders the phone useless until unplugged. and if the phone's screen is turned off after charging it may not turn back on, forcing you to hard reset the device.
However turning off the animation will prevent this from happening

Yes the charging animation and circle loading animations are tweaked out. That's a known issue.
They will be fixed, you need to leave battery charging animation off for now.
I mentioned this in the other m7 threads FAQ but left the battery part out of the FAQ in this thread.(oops)

Yes, it should be much improved and a few more features added.
Please let me know how it works for you, if you try it.
Use Trickster Mod to adjust it to your liking.
Great work on the new kernel. Ran it since it was posted with no real issues aside from the bottom speaker not working randomly until a soft reboot fixed it. Going to use this as my daily driver, easily the best non-sense ROM I've used for my One so far!
Thanks for the good work again, looking forward to continuing updates!
Sent from my One using Tapatalk
Anyone know what causes that bottom speaker to stop working. I've seen that on a few aosp roms and it's the main reason I won't consistently run one. Been trying to figure this out for some time now...
Sent from my rooted & s-off'd Sprint HTC One, powered by Android OS ?
The split view is that so you can run dual apps or is it something completely different?
found another bug. now im using the 3.00 beta, not the kernal, but i managed to find another bug, not sure if its been documented or not yet.
when in the lock screen, if you switch widgets (say to the camera widget) and then quickly switch back, you loose the ability to unlock your phone. it isnt a huge deal as you can set the home button to unlock. but its a bug none the less.

PA 4.4 BETA1
On this week’s dose of awesome sauce from PA Headquarters. We are proud to bring you Theme Engine, a stable Hover and a bunch of fixes. Hats off to CM, Clark Scheff, Andrew Mast and Sony mobile, for their work on Theme engine Truly outstanding work. Porting it to an AOSP base was a massive effort, lead by +Carlo Savignano. We tried to do it in a way so that it can be easily ported to other AOSP based ROMs for the benefit of the entire community. We are also proud to mark Hover stable, after many betas and three rewrites. We apologize for all the betas, but we really wanted to try to get this right, we encourage you to compare this build to beta 1, some major improvements have been made. The lessons learned here means more/quicker awesomeness in the future. With Google IO only a month away we are nearing the end of Kitkat, but that doesn't mean development is slowing down. Our team is comprised of numerous students and with school ending we are now doubling down on making PA awesome, we plan to finish strong and have a few Major projects to release that we have been working on internally for quite some time. Awesomeness is coming *
P.S. This is still 4.4.2. We have merged and are testing 4.4.3 internally but it was released too close to our release to allow enough time for adequate testing.*
P.S 2 Like the Themes shown off in the image below they were made by our own +Matt Flaming* and *+Lo Huot* and are available on the play store (PiazzA will be available soon). Show them some love.
General
- Translated into over 30 languages!
- Backported numerous fixes from AOSP master.
- Improved quicksettings.
- Removed lockscreen blur feature in favour of custom lockscreen background from*Theme Engine (it will come back as a component of theme engine in the future).
Theme Engine
- Bring full CM11 theme engine. (First AOSP based ROM!!)
- WARNING: Home button gets refreshed only after reboot or by force killing SystemUI *if you want to *a avoid reboot. Will be fixed in next build.
Hover
- Stable status!!
- Removed Jank (its a technical term)
- Fixed remaining bugs, including spam and invisible notifications.
- Fully working and improved inCallUi.
- Restored default swipe to dismiss behavior. An upcoming swipe up gesture will let you dismiss*hover as was replacing the old behavior.
Pie/Immersive
- Fixed immersive API Thanks for the developers who helped diagnose the issue
- Vastly improved triggering, and allow you to trigger from any area on the edge on tablets.
- Pie now rotates like the navBar (will appear on short edge).
- Enabled pie only on immersive mode enabled by quick settings tlie (not in app immersive).
- Fixed AOSP immersive bug issue where apps would register a touch when swiping statusBar*and/or navBar.
- Fixed numerous freezes.
WARNING: We recommend a clean flash this time due to massive changes

Thanks for your Awesome Work .
Take my Gravity-love .
Thanks again Bro
will you add hide empty sim card icon in the status bar next update?
Rom is very stable & smooth using it and am very impressed by the looks as well... Welcome change from boring cm apps & looks... Thanks for your hard work.
Just a request that please keep this awesome rom up to date like your other roms
I'm getting a bootloop by flashing xposed zip v67 sdk 22
But it doesn't get hot during bootloop, which is very nice. It was even charging + bootloop, and it was at the early phase of boot where the screen doesn't get dim yet.
Oh, and also, it responds to my power button input during the bootloop, it responds with a lagging (late) vibration.
And yes, I did clean install of course. I even formatted /system and whole /data.
Here's the logcat
Thanks

Ahh sorry. After some browsing finally found out that the xposed doesn't work for uber because of heavily modified art libs, or so they said on march.
Anyway, arter97 makes device-specific xposed zips by modifying core and libs, maybe you can take a look at the code

What about the data issue? which ever sim u select for the data automatically becomes the sim one and whatever sim u inserted in sim slot one is always show as data sim in QS... and also there is no option for changing sim to 3g networl... see below SS
Just wanted to drop in and let everyone know I'm working on the msim issues right now. SlimLP's source code is missing a lot of commits for dual sim functionality. So I'm having to scan through other repos to determine which ones I need. I personally don't have a msim device, but I have multiple users who can test changes for me. So all the dual sim issues should be fixed shortly

K... Thanks... The only bug i got in this uberslim and orionLP is that sim bug... So it will gonna be fix soon...
Excellent
Simple smooth and awsum.. hats off developer. best rom. if it would hav been bugless. Anyway im a single sim user so im cool wid it. So i was wondering can u port Oxygen Os To sprout. by any means.
This rom is lightweight yet have some features .. i would rather like eleven music player than vanilla music also if you could provide nova as default launcher then that would be awesome
Alright, it has about the same bugs as other AOSP based ROMs. Minor though.
About SIM switching idk since I only use a single SIM.
The ROM itself is very nice, smooth and has nice battery life. Makes me wonder if I actually need xposed for amplify and powernap or not. Best one I've tried so far.
New build is up!

A couple features added, lots of msim fixes, xposed will work fine now
Enjoy!

Akhil thanks for replying I have switched since to Team Radium but I am curious I had issues with it previously.Anyway I know its off topic here but Team radium rom its really nice I think I wouldn't switch ROM after this.
Why there is no Data On/Off Slider? I can't tell the difference if i lost connection or my Data was turned off

Will there be a sprout_b build?
Great ROM with minimal features good performance, slim launcher has some issues on changing DPI,it has weird bug that when you open app drawer and hit back button status bar becomes blurry black and if you press home it again changes to transparent but it can be overcame using nova but I hope slimlp addresses this bug
Thanks a lot I am planning to use it as daily driver overall better than cm anyways...AOSP>CM

It will be nice to have some kind off toggle indicator on the quick settings tile (or in the menu showing after holding the data tile, there is now a data roaming toggle ), now need to confirm data connection status on settings-data usage after toggling on the quick tile.
Anyway awesome build, going to stick with this [emoji106]
