What`s working : EVERYTHING!
Installation Instructions :
A clean install is recommended to avoid any FC etc.
Download CyberGR-MOD.NS.NGN_ver.14*.zip file to your computer.
Boot into ClockworkMod Recovery
From main menu select wipe data/factory reset and wipe/cache partition
Use Dalvik-wiper.zip to wipe Dalvik Cache.You can get it from here : Link 1 or here : Link 2
From advanced select reboot recovery
After rebooting recovery wipe data/factory reset & cache again and then from mounts and storage select format /system /data /cache /boot & format /sdcard.
Now select from mount and storage, mount USB storage and copy over to your Nexus S storage the CyberGR-MOD.NS.NGN_ver.14*.zip file.
Detach the USB CABLE from your Nexus S.
From main menu select install zip from sdcard then choose zip from storage
Select CyberGR-MOD.NS.NGN_ver.14*.zip and proceed with the setup.
When done!Reboot your device
First boot as expected might be slow but nothing to worry about, its normal.After first boot, before doing anything a reboot is recommended.(fixes misplaced CyberGR-MOD wallpaper in Ver.14 too)

PS : 1. First time NSToolls will ask you for superuser permissions, be careful to press ALLOW, then it will come up with a notification saying "some settings have been discarded" blah blah, don`t worry it`s absolutely normal!!Just open NSTools, configure and reboot!!
2. Be careful don`t wipe battery stats, do it only if you want to calibrate your battery!!
3. Clean Install for Version 14 as always is recommended...Although if you are coming from Version 12 a simple Wipe Cache + Dalvik Cache and optionally wipe data/factory reset will just do the job!
4. First start up might take a little bit longer this time.It`s 100% Normal.
5. WARNING -- > If you want to try and change FONTS on your system using the Font Installer App included in CyberGR|MOD just be sure to make a NANDdroid back up 1st via CWM Recovery..95% of the fonts working just perfect but there is a 5% that maybe cause an infinity Boot Loop on your system!For Customaa & Corsiva fonts have been reported to cause the problem i mentioned above.

Tips & Tricks :
Tip 1 : Trebuchet Launcher sometimes may be a little bit laggy when you open application drawer.Just press menu button when you are in home screen, select preferences and finally under Drawer menu un-check Join widgets with apps!! (Not any more in Version 7 and up coming versions but always useful.)
Tip 2 : Optional - Go to Settings -> Developer options -> Background process limit and select At most 4 processes.
Tip 3 : Optional - Go to Settings -> Developer options -> And Check Force GPU rendering. Be careful with this one...you will have some noticeable performance boost on some apps, like benchmarking apps and other but maybe some other won`t work at all or half work..example detailed weather information in default news & weather widget.
Tip 4 : Random Questions regarding I/O Schedulers, Governors etc. Have a look at this --> Link

A : Turn off Fast Charge and disconnect/reconnect your phone.

Though not too sure how a heavily tested "alpha" can be stable. Even the default kernel: GlaDOS has been facing random reboots lately and 2.6 came out a day ago.
Guess I'll have to flash to find out to see if this really is what you say.

Is an alpha cause not all of CyanogenMOD settings are yet implemented..for the rest works like a stock ROM with some modifications on some things like media effects to make them work by me.
Regarding the kernel i was under testing with GLaDOS 2.5 CFS kernel for about a week+ and everything seems to run fine!!And yes GLaDOS 2.6 CFS came out just yesterday but the only change made was this :
- Fixed the problem of the CAM module being active all the time preventing DEEP IDLE from being used.
I am running 2.6 from yesterday with Deep_Idle disable from yesterday without any issue yet or performance change from 2.5!

Battery percentage mod is not yet implemented.
Now for the File explorer app is a matter of personal choice!
I personally like ES File explorer + it offers Root access on system files too like Root Explorer...Didn`t know that File expert include root access too and it has a nice UI too!!Thank you for the tip and suggestion..;-)

Yes it has notification power widget but for know u can`t change the settings of it..For flashlight just download Tiny Flashlight from the market and place the widget on ur home screen!It works!

Mine is i9023 currently I'm on other ics rom downloading your still 40 to go ..when I was using your gb rom internet was awesome morning I downloaded ics other ics rom it as kl1 baseband..any how ivl restore gb rom and then install this hope there will be no sudden data drop ..like if I stop using internet for a while or try to stream video it goes off then I need to refresh page or reload app again ..I mean no background connection will be working

Also the downloads states the size as 636 MB but when I downloaded it the file size say 439 MB.

Check md5 sum. If its matching then u can flash it.. otherwise download it again..

Take a nandroid backup just in case u will face any issues in V9...
And I dunn think it has the popup play feature...
I just took a nandroid backup but it says no sd-ext detected, I have sd-ext 32GB class 10 , back up though was successful. Now will start downloading v9.

Does VideoEditor work in this ROM?
Finally installed v9. It looks solid, very fluid,I need some time to talk about battery but battery drains little faster, transparent weather widget from v8 is missing, pop up play is not available. Aroma installer can be overwhelming for newbees like me for i have no idea which modem or kernel or what apps are good. OTA update setup comes alive after installation but have absolutely no idea whether it works or not and even if it works not sure it will keep the root alive or dead! Samsung app store is available it gets updated , Gmail and YouTube app should be updated from play store after installation. That's about it . Please keep sharing your experience here.

Wish I could post into the developer thread, but meh... hope someone actually reads.
I was having the issue where I would be able to see wireless networks but not connect to them, that rendered my home wifi connection practically useless with my phone. Apparently this was also associated with a partial root problem and this, I think had to do with using the wrong abyss kernel for wiping my system. I did a full wipe from abyss every time before flashing ICS (Cache, Dalvik and Data, in this order).
I began trying to begin my flash about three or four different times with Abyss Note Kernel CW Touch Original Logo. I left the kernel and modem options as default everytime over the aroma installer, only once trying LPT modem (second time I think). Wifi would see the available connections but failed to aquire IP every time.
The very first reboot got me stuck into the samsung logo, tried to go back into recovery but failed to do it properly, however the startup continued correctly this time as if I had flashed from a no wipe setting (checking all available apps before startup), I had a wifiless working ICS 4.0.4.
Here's what I changed and made it work, hope it helps others.
Reading the forums I found a couple of differences in my process and corrected from them, first was:
- Flashing with Abyss Note Kernel Red Touch Original Logo, reboot into recovery.
- then wiping cache, dalvik and data/factory reset, THIS TIME I tried formating /system as one of the posts sugested (I had tried this one in a previous attempt also, with no result till this time.)
- once wiping and format was finished I flashed Criskelo over the Aroma installer, app selection was nothing special, make this as custom as your own needs or wishes, same goes for theme.
- THIS was also something that made a huge difference and I must thank user stephane091 and I quote as follows:

- and that's exactly how I proceeded, I used the default CF-Root with LR1 modem and everything worked ok, left the installation proceed, rebooted, went through the startup configuration and recovered my wifi with no problem at all, bluetooth working fine also.
Until now I've reinstalled most of my apps back into the phone with also happily no app crash and I've yet to test how the battery behaves but so far I'm very happy with it.

FAQ
Why my tablet is in bootloop ?
There can be a lot of reasons for this.
1) Bad download. Double check ROM md5 (you can find it in androidfilehost download page)
2) You did not full wipe your device
3) Recovery is buggy or an old release.
4) You are restoring data partition from a nandroid backup
I want to flash this awesome ROM !!!!!!! What if I am coming from stock OFFICIAL 4.4.2 ?
If you flashed stock 4.4.2 via ODIN then you 99.9 % have updated your bootloader. This means that you can't flash roms WITHOUT voiding your warranty. Thank KNOX counter for this.
If you are coming from a 4.4.2 official rom ZIP then maybe you did not flash the official bootloader so you won't have your warranty void flashing a rom. To be sure reboot in download mode and check if there is written something about KNOX.

What about SuperSu and wifi fix?
You have to flash both remove phone stuff and supersu EVERYTIME you update the ROM.
You don't have to flash wifi fix if you didn't wipe data (or full wipe) of your device before flashing the ROM.
My Hotmail or Outlook account are not working on Samsung Email app!
Use IMAP manual config skipping all steps.
My tab can't be turned off when in charge!
This is caused by an old bootloader. Try to plug in the cable and switch the tablet off. If this is not helpful you have to install KitKat bootloader.

I don't know if it will work fine so can't tell you for sure
Got lucky with VPN downloaded it and installed it right away so far no problem encountered. And smartclip is really working :good:. will update you with any bugs encountered if there is any nice work man. Thanks again for these Rom.

I forgot to tell you that if you want aircommand on extracting Spen just open Air Command Shortcut one time and then it will work (even after reboot if I am not wrong )

The air command shortcut is not showing up when I extract the pen. Other than that so far no bug for me.:fingers-crossed:

Working now I miss understood of what you meant about air command shortcut, I didn't realize its was an apk.

Ok, I tested everything, and absolutley everything is working fine here on N8000. Flashed trough CWM after full wipe.
Here is a quick screen record video showing some of the features (bitrate of recording is low, rom is smooth as butter)

I am looking into it but I have no idea of what is missing or what is the issue. Also I don't like it very much so I don't want to waste time. Try Xperia Z2 launcher
