Yeah it's good to update to jb but it depends how you installed jb onto your device otherwise it will be a disaster if you don't believe me then just check the whole q&a section

Hi I would like to ask if i am correct here i want to root my phone and i will follow this step
1.Rooting with stock recovery - Thanx to Entropy who direct this way,as well always looking for safety measures for us, Chainfire for creating great tool SuperSu (and many more), Phil3759 as files,scripts derived from his Thread and Linus Yang for Busybox.
You can have two choice to root device from recovery
1A.Root + safe kernel + advance recovery. [Recommended method]
Here this will not just root your device but also add safe kernel (patched for mmc erase cap command) so you can safely wipe your device. as well gives you advanced recovery with it you can flash flashable zip files, nandroid backup/restore and more.

-Copy downloaded file to Ext SD card to root directory
-Reboot into recovery (vol up+Home+power)
-Select install(update) zip from ext SD card

-Reboot device

- rainbow mode menu
- separate power menu
- separate wipe menu
- toggle signature, toggle script assert, toggle md5sum.

booted into recovery only on the 3rd attempt. the first 2 times it booted into the earlier ctr v2.2. no idea why.
recovery seems fine except for one thing - adb does not seem to be enabled in recovery. can this be fixed?

Will ask carliv sir,if there is any way.But,as u suggested I updated them.I have synced Cm 10.1 sources.Will try to compile latest TWRP tomorrow.Keep checking as I am gonna release 4 Roms in 2 days.They will be trimmed,with lot new features,having everything pure.No bugs:I will try my best not to have.

there should be a way!!!!
the ctr v2.4 for xolo q3000 has adb enabled in recovery. check out my screenshots:
twrp v2.7.0.0 for micromax a116 also has adb enabled in recovery. taking screenshots is a breeze. check out my screenshots here.
philztouch v6.27.4 for A116 (based on cwm v6.0.4.8) also has adb enabled in recovery. check out my screenshots from here.
if your new roms are as good as gamer v1 and has the dual-sim dialer, but without chinese [email protected], i'll try them. all the best!

I asked Carliv sir,about the adb concept.he told me that the recoveries were compiled with adb support,but depends on device to device.The company devices like Sony Xperia C locks the adb support.But,general mtk phones have support.I think Xolo also has it.Can you try connecting in recovery and check if the device supports adb or not?

Installation instructions:
Installing Euphoria-OS for the first time, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working ClockworkMod-Recovery/Team Win Recovery Project
- Copy GApps , ROM ZIP to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET
- Flash Euphoria-OS zip from SDCard
- Flash GApps zip from SDCard, recommended gapps is http://fitsnugly.euroskank.com/?rom=banks&device=gapps
- Reboot
- Don't restore system data using Titanium Backup!
Upgrading from an earlier version:
- Copy the ROM ZIP to your SDCard

If you're flashing a custom kernel, do a clean, vanilla flash to start with, just ROM, gapps, SuperSU. I tried flashing a kernel right off the bat and got the same problem.

What is Symphony Roar A50 ?
Symphony Roar A50 is device under Google's Android One . It's a member of google's second branch devices of "Andoid One" that is released a week ago in Bangladesh. Now came a question why it's needed to port where TWRP is already available for members of 'Sprout' family. Well the second branch devices are a bit different from the first one. When i tried varun.chitre15 's TWRP in my A50 it didn't worked.
What's new in 2.8.4.0:
Add flashing of boot and recovery images via the TWRP GUI (Find the Images button on the Install page)
Fix some MTP related crashes and bugs
Eliminate TWRP toggling USB IDs during boot if MTP is enabled
Fix various adb sideload issues
Improve threading of actions

Update libblkid to 2.25.0
Use power button as back button on watch themes for easier navigation
Add mutex locking to data manager
Improve custom theme handling on encrypted devices

Just download the file and flash it via "TWRP" . But remember! When you get file dir click on "Install image"

After selecting the downloaded file (TWRP-T81X.img). You will see list of partitions. Just select "Recovery"

Recovery is not SEandroid enforcing
I have flash the file into my T810 but when I want to boot to recovery, it first show the ERROR message "Recovery is not SEandroid enforcing" then get in recovery. Does that matters?

+1 on both issues.
I have same both problems.
I done few experiments. On both new and old twrp both rr mm based 5.7.x and genuine cm 13 are restoring perfect. All n based roms (rr 5.8.x, extended aosp and lineage 14.1) have same error after restore : com.android.phone process fc, settings unopenable, unusable... So seems rom, not twrp problem...
Is there any possibility that restore problem (com.android.phone has stopped ...) get fixed on Nougat roms?
It will be great, then we can easily test and back to few roms in same time...
I think its only me and @ivanox1972 which having restore problem that makes com.android.phone stops after restore image.
So I reflashed MM factory image with odin last night in hope of fixing the problem with no luck.
After restoring any N roms I get the same error.
another thing I did was to wipe system after restore and after restart my apps were there but all settings were cleared and no error.
So any one has any idea how to solve this problem ?
May be we need to open a new thread in troubleshooting and continue there...

No. And I suspect only both of us are in this position. Probably all others just stays in some nougat rr, aosp...
