[Q] Microphone mute in call - Motorola Droid 4

My problem is that sometimes the microphone is cut (mute) during the call. Its mean that other side dont hear me but I hear everything. Sometimes I must hang up and call again and sometimes after maybe 10 second is all ok. But one time I hang up, call again but the person still does not hear me. So I must wait a few minute and call the person again.
I tried 3 room - stock, CM 10.2.1 stable and CM 11 beta but it doesnt help.
Do you have some ideas?
Thank you for your reply.

Delayed Ringing

Hello,
Recently I have been noticing that my IIi appears to inform me of incoming calls rather late. When I wear my bluetooth headset I can hear the incoming call in my headset but it takes at least 5-7 seconds before the ringer on my phone starts ringing. By the time the ringer starts ringing to let me know of a phone call I have maybe 3-5 seconds to answer it before my voice mail picks up. Does anyone else experience this problem? Are there any solutions? It almost seems like the cpu just does not have the power to process the incoming call that quickly. Any help would be appreciated.
What headset are you using?
Does it have a delay without a headset?
On mine I get a delay with a headset that supports the handsfree profile (Jabra BT800) but not on a normal one, or without a headset.
My XDA2 did this also, but the XDA2 with WM2005 worked perfectly.
could be the time needed to find/load the ringtone ?
do you have caller id or ringtonex with different ringtones and/or pictures?
maybe loaded from memory card ?

I have the same problem with mine... I only get three rings to answer the phone - which can be pretty annoying!
I've not noticed whether having any form of headset makes a difference, though.
Ringing Delay
I upgaded to the latest version of software from 02 last week, since then I get what I can only describe as a "stutter" when the phone rings. I am also getting a lot of lost calls i.e the phone rings twice then says I have a missed call, but the people ringing me say that it goes to ansaphone ???

I have the same problems and the bluetooth flattens the battery in 4 hours. I used to have the XDA II with Sins cooked 2K3se and it was perfect, unfortunately I gave it to my son who won't give it back.
Hey, I have same problem, I got the latest ROM, and since then it got even worse. Does anybody knows how to fix the problem, modify ROM, or something, PLEase help.
Thank you.
the only solution i have to date is to change the answerphone delay, you can find your networks status codes here:

i changed mine to 30 secs to give me a better chance!

Big problems with calls

Hi there,
i own a diamond for a week now and i have two strange problems.
one is, when i receive incoming calls sometimes i cannot hear my dialogue partner but he understands me. until i press one of the volume buttons at the side. i think this does not always happen, but in about one of three calls. i also think this only happens on incoming calls, not when i call.
second is, when i dial a number sometimes i don't hear it ringing. theres absolutely no sound until the called person receives my call. this is not reproducable and happens in about one of four cases. i can call someone and hear it ringing and immediately call again and it doesnt make a sound.
this does not sound like a hardware problem. i have rom 1.37.407.2 installed and i am from germany.
i hope someone can help me, this kinda pisses me off. thanks.
alright then, seems solved. I updated to the latest official Rom.

Diamond fault

Anyone else had anything like this:
When the phone first boots up its perfectly fine, calls work both ways, it plays music no problem.
However leave it sitting on the side for 15-20 mins and then get a call, the phone receives it but makes no noise, answer call an the phone doesnt even sound like its picked it up it's just silent, can' hear person, they can't hear you. Same on outbound calls the phone is just dead i cant hear anything an receiver cant hear me. But the phone does no the call is connected as it rumbles when the person answers but i never hear the ringing before that.
Also once it is in this state, got to music on the phone and click play and there is no sound at all!
This has happened even after updating to newer official rom as well.
Any ideas???
Many Thanks
I am having exactly the same problem.... All sound from the phone just stops working, also the alarm, which means I can never trust my phone to wake me up in the mornings!
Another problem with the phone is that when the phone is called it takes a while for the phone to ring. I have tried to call my phone from a landline and it actually rings three times before the diamond makes a noise!
The latest Tweak 2k2 software solves the 3s ring delay problem...
Do you have a link for this?
Thanks

Some users here were also tweaking the registry, but i solved the problem this kind of way...

[Q] [SOLVED] reboot when incoming phone call

SOLVED.
Hi, this is my first post, so if this is not the right place to ask it, please move it to where it corresponds, and forgive me...
well the thing is, that i installed xdandroid (FRX07.1) on my topaz, using this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1178546
and it works almost perfect (BT working, Wifi working, GPS sometimes doesnt work, but normally yes, etc...) except for the little detail that when there is an incoming phone call, the call screen appears (sometimes with a little delay, but no problem) and when i slide the pick up phonecall button to the right, to pick up the phone call, it seems like it has really picked up the phone call, but i cant hear anything, and on seconds 8-9 of the phone call, the phone shutdowns and reboots to windows mobile.
I have already updated to the latest kernels files, but the problem keeps appearing, i dont know what to do (im a noob, sorry for that), so if anyone could help me, or know what it could be happening, i would really appreciatte it.
thank you very much (and sorry for my english, im spaniard)
fix
it's a bug, its in the buglist, you have to make an outbound call after you booted android. you can just call yourself, and you can receive calls.
had this problem myself too.
oh! seems i didnt read enough, thank you very much, michiel!!
outgoing call not possible
Hello,
same problem here. Also general no Sound over internal speakers.
A outgoing call after clean install not possible because the phone will reboot after 3-4 seconds ring.
The problem persists on all Builds, all Kernels, all SD-Cards.
Edit:
Problem is solved. the cause wa custum rom WM6.5 EVO.N-3.9.
With a other WM6.5 Custum Rom now works Gingerbrad with both Kernels (.27 or .35)

Audio Click after a call

Recently I have been getting a audio clicking sound after a call
doesn't matter if I make or receive the call
The sound is fairly loud, its a single short click, 10 seconds (ish) after the call, later another, happens a few more times then stops.
I noticed since the first CM7.2 RC, installing the latest 7.2 has not fixed the problem.
anyone encountered this?
